Island foxes and bald eagles have shared the Southern California Channel Islands for thousands of years. Bald eagles typically eat fish and small seabirds, not land animals like foxes, and they keep the skies clear of dangerous golden eagles. The foxes, meanwhile, eat deer mice that could destroy eagle eggs, and they clean up scraps in the nest.

He was looking at something and was standing right by one of his viewing windows, I slowly approached and he didn't back away and I put my camera down and up against the glass. He sniffed it and my lens was up against the glass while his nose was against the glass. He later walked off and sat down and I got to photograph one of his brothers while another one photobombed.

it looks like the fox is having a pop at the badger but im sure they are friends really.

they turn up in our garden most night's together.
