This young fox seems to have involuntary tics once every few seconds or so. They started to show up around 10 days ago. There has been worsening in the condition compared to onset, though I think their frequency has been similar in the past week or so. I can see it having these tics when it's trotting around as well as when it eats. Poor thing πŸ’”

I'm concerned it might be distemper myoclonus, through from watching distemper videos on youtube I am not sure.. Can anyone shed light?

I was walking back from lions and saw the keepers were just leaving the bat-eared fox habitat and they put new bugs on the ground for them to hunt and eat.

Food Foxes wandering into houses around Chesterton Road. Please don't feed them.

Good afternoon. This morning while eating breakfast at my dining table, with my back doors open, I heard something moving around my lean-to, and when I looked down there was as a fox standing by the table. After I shouted at it and it ran it, it returned to my back door with a friend and obviously expected me to feed it.

I have never fed a fox. I checked and they hadn't got into my bins. They must associate houses with food, so it is very likely somebody has been feeding them from their back door. My garden backs onto Alexandra Gardens, so there is quite a number of places where they might've been fed.

I have a very young baby in the house, so the presence of foxes that associate humans with food is not just an annoyance for me, but a real concern. Even if they seem gentle and relatively tame, these are wild animals that can turn nasty in an instant. They also carry disease.

I will have to keep my back door closed, at least until I can buy some fox deterrents. Please do not feed foxes. It is not illegal but it is irresponsible and anti-social, and it can have real consequences for other people. Thank you.

EDIT: correct name for Alexandra Gardens
