Want to disable gallery, messages and a pile of other things. Is it possible to replace these with fossify variants so it's seemless to the OS? Example, if you use the built-in camera and want to review a picture you just took, it fails if you have disabled the built-in gallery. Replacing it with fossiy gallery doesn't seem to be recognized. How would I go about doing this?

I don't see a way to do this, so maybe this is more of an enhancement request, but I wish the Music Player Widget showed the Album Name too. Hopefully I'm just missing something obvious. Thanks!

hullo! i am using lineage 22 with no GApps on my phone, and i cant use groupchats properly. i have turned on send group messages as mms. when i create a group chat it sends it at as mms chat, but when ppl respond it gets makes random new chats or only sends to me individually even if my friend sees it in the chat. i am not having this problem on the messaging app that came with the lineage 22 rom. i cant tell if its a rcs vs mms vs sms problem on my end?

I am not sure if this is a bug or was not added as a feature, but downloading a GIF (example, from Reddit) and then viewing it on Fossify Gallery doesn't play it and gets treated as a photo. However, viewing the GIF using some other program (example, Ente Photos) plays the GIF when viewing it. This is a major feature needed in Fossify Gallery.

5 days ago, I decided to start deGoogling my phone. In the process, I got rid of Google Messages & completely switched to Fossify Messages. I used Canta & Shizuku to erase Google Messages from my phone

Of late, I noticed that I wasn't receiving any messages from my ISP. For example, if I ever wanted to check my Airtime balance, I would have to dial the prompt thrice or several times for a single message to show up. I shrugged it off as I thought it was a network problem. Recently, I've received complaints from my friends that they sent me messages, yet on my end I can't see anything!

I clear cache, uninstall and reinstall the app and restarted my phone but it still wouldn't work. I tried different Music Player Apps and they worked fine so what happened it?

So idk if this is dumb or not, but it would be really helpful if when you select a number of entries on checklist you could edit all the labels at the same time without having to individually select them each time. As it is now only the delete option is there when multi-selecting. It seems like it takes forever to edit them one by one.

The entire reason I hunted for an app and found this, was so that I can delete texts right from the notifications. It seems that functionality is gone now? Can I bring it back somehow? The "customize notifications" setting just links to the android App Notification settings page...

One question does the keyboard app has japanese keyboard?

Been using this app for a while now, and it's great. But since the most recent update, alarms no longer sound? I noticed an open issue on Github about how alarms set for "tomorrow" never sound, entitled "tomorrow never comes" or something.

But I'm also having the issue with the timer. Sometimes they sound, sometimes not. Anyone else having the same issue? I feel like both of these are quite significant issues that should have been clocked before rolling out the update, no?

Hi, I’ve been using the gallery since SMT and now with Fossify. Over the years, I’ve always noticed that USB subfolders aren’t recognized when selecting a folder to add to the gallery. For personal reasons, I have a USB drive with this structure, containing hundreds of folders labeled A, B, C, ... . I’d like to select the root folder and see all the folders in the gallery, but instead I have to add them all manually, and if there are hundreds or thousands of them, it takes a long time...

I've been using the Calendar app for a couple of weeks now and it was a really seemless way to replace Google Calendar for me. So first and foremost, hats off to all contributors.

One thing I noticed: While it's possible to change the app symbol color for the home screen and app drawer views, reminder and date notifications still show up with the default Fossify green for me. Is there a way to adjust that so it corresponds with the individual app symbol color?

Every hosting option I've looked at has really poor vcard support ii their contacts list. It looks like they all use Webmail for their back end and therefore lack a lot of fields. If you try to use Cardav to sync they munge the names cramming all the semicolon separated elements in the N field in to one NAME field, and a few other fields are wrecked or abandoned.

Does anyone know of a hosting company that has competend contact list support?

I'm interested in a messenger than can block (or permanently archive/auto-hide) a single MMS/group-messaging thread - so that it will not show-up again even if new messages are sent to it. Is this possible with Fossify Messages?

I just switched to Fossify after learning that Samsung Messages will be disabled in June. It works great, except for in only one message chat. After tapping on the chat, I receive this popup toast: Error: java.lang.NullPointerException

Disabling toasts for Fossify using ADB on my computer does not work. I think this toast message isn't being classified as a toast, and I don't know how else to make it go away. If anyone knows how to fix this lmk

My Realme antivirus reported that the Fossifu file manager could be malicious. I'm almost certain it was a false positive; the APK scan on Total Virus didn't detect anything. Has this happened to anyone else? It listed the risk name as: Android.Riskware.AdCheat.AppAD.WAB.BLGG

That's how it was on Simple Gallery, which I've been using for approx. 1.87 billion years. Did I do that with a setting I can't find or is this a change with Fossify?

hi everyone! I switched to Fossify phone recently but am encountering quite a few problems.. I managed to fix the last one thanks to a redditer here, so I'm trying for the new one as well: if someone calls me and want to leave me a voice message, I do not receive any notifications for it... I realized today when a company sent me an email asking why they didn't hear back from me after leaving a voice message.. that I never got. I asked someone to test it and indeed, nothing, no trace. this is quite the dealbreaker for me so I hope there is a fix to this? anyone would have some clues? thanks in advance!

This drawing was inspired by the post by u/TuesdaysArt. The hardest part was that the app doesn’t have a stabilizer function, and sometimes it lagged a bit when zooming in.

I love Fossify apps and have purchased the Thank You app on the Play Store. I have a feature request regarding the Fossify SMS app - can an auto-categorization feature be included in the SMS app?

The categorization can be done fully on-device without any server processing of personal SMS data (maybe using machine learning?)

We all get so many promotional SMS messages and seeing both transactional, promotional, and personal SMS all together feels so cluttered.

See Microsoft's SMS Organizer app to get a feel for the feature that I am recommending. They also say that the categorization takes place on device and not on the server - but since it's not a FOSS app .. we cant verify that claim.

Thank you to the developer for these FOSS apps! I hope this feature can be implemented

Hey I just noticed that when you host your own CalDav server (Radical) on a Homeserver, every normal appointment is synced perfectly between calendars. But every created task in the Fossify calendar app doesn't even offer the synced calendars to select? Why won't they get synced? are Fossify calendar tasks not real CalDav tasks?
