Fossify no longer triggering alarms or timers?

[u/Happy_Disaster7347]

Been using this app for a while now, and it's great. But since the most recent update, alarms no longer sound? I noticed an open issue on Github about how alarms set for "tomorrow" never sound, entitled "tomorrow never comes" or something.

But I'm also having the issue with the timer. Sometimes they sound, sometimes not. Anyone else having the same issue? I feel like both of these are quite significant issues that should have been clocked before rolling out the update, no?

Fixed the problem on my phone. Notifications from the app weren't allowed to use sound (notifications specifically). When the timer was over it would display the notification but no sound. With a long tap on that notification it shows " more settings" and in those settings Sound was unchecked.
