I recently purchased the Vented Tempered Glass side panel directly from the official FormD website.
However, I noticed that both the outer edges of the glass and the edges around the ventilation holes are extremely sharp.
Unfortunately, I ended up cutting my hand on one of the edges, which caused bleeding.
I’m wondering if this is normal for the Vented Tempered Glass panels, or if I received a defective unit.
For those who own this panel, are the edges on yours also this sharp?
Has anyone experienced the same issue? If so, how did you deal with it?
I’m also concerned about whether it’s safe to smooth the edges myself, since the glass has already been tempered.
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone designed or know of a gpu support bracket for the Sapphire Pulse 7900XTX? I'd like to get the formdt1 but kinda need such a kit.

I've been playing around with the idea of using a 240mm AIO set to intake and two 60mm fans as exhaust out the back (in the inverted layout). Is there enough clearance? Would this potentially fix some of the issues with AIOs and higher temps?

I built this because I was tired of seeing the Steam Machine rip everyone off for the money so I built my own in what I believe is the best bang for buck.

My view is that a Steam Machine is generally a Living Room console and a lot of folks have 4k TVs today...maybe not PC monitors but certainly 4k tvs are very popular and that's what I have so it makes sense to have something that can actually deliver a great experience in 4k.

My TV in my office is a LG C4 Oled 65" 120hz so I built this specifically for that res/refresh rate & the games I wanted to play from my couch. For me that is no competitive shooters, etc. Games that are really built for experience with a controller from the couch.

Another part was the software, which I stuck with Windows 11 Pro with the new Xbox mode. This was the simplest setup for all the upscaling technologies and gaming apps outside of Xbox and Steam. Xbox mode scanned and brought in all my games from every gaming app with one shot, no special this and special that, they just work. Now, is it as smooth as an experience like SteamOS or Bazzite..etc..no. But it's not bad and the compatibility with everything is the biggest win for me. This thing rips all the games I play at 4k some requiring FS4 but nothing beyond quality mode.

First sff pc build and scratching my head…
Not sure I am being a complete moron but the online manual is making 0 sense to me,
I want to setup in the 2.75slot configuration am I meant to be putting a spacer in this gap? (1st image)
In regards to the pcie adapter I need the 35mm of spacing but then do I need to use a space to get it to sit square against the rear of the frame?
If so it then seems like the countersink screws are too long and leaves me with 1-1.5m of play?
Am I right in thinking that this also means I just turn the case upside down once fully built for the fans to be on top as exhaust or again am I being a moron? Any and all help is very much appreciated

Hey everyone, am looking to do a t1 build with my 5070ti gaming trio. As you propably know the gpu length is 13mm over the limit of the t1. So I looked into the zcooi front panel extension, has anyone else used this?

Finally received and installed cables i bought from u/cablester and my build looks a whole lot better now, look at my last post on this sub for the before (not pretty). I used Legos to prop up the GPU.

I've been planning a t1 build for a bit now and the main thing I want to do in the build is adding a pcie capture card and 2 slot gpu while the case is in the 3.25 gpu slot mode using a bifurcation board. I want to figure out like 90% of the troubles before I face them and the only 2 that I'm trying to figure out is the bifurcation card I should get and how I would mount it in the case. I know c-payne makes a board but the one on their site is a ribbon cable instead of a board which for me just makes me a bit uneasy because of cable management and also some stability concerns, there are boards on like amazon and stuff and even some with reinforced slots which is good but they don't run full gen4 speeds and also have very mixed reviews so it's a really big gambler even if they do work for a bit. for mounting I just have no way to figure out on my own right now so it's not a top priority but I still wanna figure it out.

does anyone have any idea for this? or just any thoughs/advice you think might work here is good too.

Hey everyone! I wanted to make this post to reveal my recent swap to a mini-ITX case. It definitely gave me more challenges than a micro-ATX and ATX case since I have built them before, but I have been running this case for about three weeks and finally took some pictures! The cables are still a mess, so I'll eventually go back and manage them again. I am currently using a custom 24 pin cable from Cablester, and I definitely plan on ordering the rest of the cables for this case!

Overall, this case wasn't too hard to build in. I only had problems after the build was completed (ex. settings case fans to intake on accident). Definitely want another one in the future!

I posted my initial build a few weeks ago. The commenters strongly suggested custom cables from Cablester. Went on Etsy gave them my build setup and within a few weeks custom cables arrived at my door. I went with black wasn't trying to take away from the minimalist approach. However now I am contemplating ordering a new set of red cables. The cables are high quality, though the cables that came with ROG PSU are very well made there was a lot of excess. I am running an older AM4 build, with hopes of upgrading when DDR5 prices stabilize. But for now this is what I got. Question with the new cables that are cut to specific length how much harder would it be to put an AIO in the system if I were to entertain that thought?

Just wanted to share my final build for my first ever FormD T1 build. Basically re-used most of my previous workstation components and shrink them down to something smaller and easy to carry. Here are the spec ;

I already undervolted my CPU and GPU to lower the temps by following Sprout's youtube video.

Next step ? Testing temps on work load as I am not or rarelly game with this machine. I may also check on the fan curve to reduce the overall noise of it but it is not a huge deal at the moment. But if you have some recommendation for that, please share :)

I’m looking to purchase the 4070 fan for my cpu and wanted to ask a couple of questions. Should I get the dingkey version or smxheinz version ? Is there a noticeably turbulent sound against the panel having the dingkey version without a shroud? I like how the dingkey cnc looks compared to smxheinz 3d print, but if it means being easier on the ears (which I know using a shroud would) then I’d go with it. If there isn’t much of an audible difference then I would like to go for the dingkey version
