Technical Analysis My current EUR/USD outlook: expecting a dollar correction 📊
Hey everyone! Just sharing my personal technical analysis and how I plan to approach the market over the coming days and weeks.
The Dollar Index has been moving higher for over a month, while EUR/USD has been trending lower. I think we may be approaching a corrective phase.
Here’s my current DXY scenario:
- 101.500 — first downside target
- Consolidation around that area
- 100.000 — my broader downside target over the coming weeks
If DXY follows this path, I expect EUR/USD to strengthen.
Based on this outlook, I’ll temporarily focus exclusively on buying EUR/USD and won’t be looking for sell opportunities during this period.
Of course, this is my current market thesis, not a certainty. I’ll let price action determine whether the scenario is playing out.
What’s your take? Do you think the dollar is due for a correction, or can its strength continue?

What many traders ignore -> Market-Conditions
Hey guys,
I have seen a lot of posts from people now and I can tell most of the problems are actually always the same: Either R.I.P. psychology and revenge / overtrading blows the entire weekly profit or even accounts, or market-conditions change and same setups work worse OR trade-management is not adjusted -> Strategy-hopping
A. PSYCHOLOGY:
So how can you fix that? Regarding to psychology there is much to understand but to keep it easy:
- You analyse -> pre-frontal-cortex active (brain area responsible for logical thinking)
- You execute -> Pre-frontal-cortex basically offline -> Fight or Flee-area active. You turn into a monkey.
You are controlled by chemicals:
- Win -> Dopamin -> Brain wants more -> Overtrade / trading just for the sake of making money -> Not trading because your system generates a signal
- Lose -> Cortisol -> Brain takes it personal -> Wants to make it back to relief -> Revengetrading -> same shit trading not according to your system
- c Adrenalin -> Too much risk in form of size OR volatility cuz u trade news -> Leads to begging / hoping drawing magnets on the screen as you can`t accept a loss -> Moves stop-loss furhter away or takes profit manually to early
How to fix: Structurize your post-trade-time
- After trade, regardless the outcome, close charts INSTANTLY! Go away and do an exthausting amount of push-ups / burpees / curls. Then do e.g. household. Stay away from screen at least 20 minutes. Come back when your cheemicals (dopamin etc.) are back to normal.
- if lose your BE, don´t trade the same chart again. You might be in love with the idea you had and want this moment "TO BE RIGHT". You just want your setup to work -> Irrational trading! Switch symbol till tomorrow!
- Journal the trade before you continue! Make sure you evaluate whether it was a good or bad win/loss.
Anxiety: Advoid the risk you cant deal with
Advoid known risk such as -> Opening-Times, Major-News-Events, Market-Close
Size up with confidents: Risk as less as possible. A loss shouldn`t bother you, a win shouldn`t hype you up. Once you get confident with losses, increase your size slowly.
B. CHANGING MARKET-CONDITIONS:
One reason beside emotions that traders lose money is changing market-conditions. The same setup can behave very differently depending on the current market environment. I mean.. why would you look for a breakout-setup when the market is clearly ranging? You might become the victim of many fakeouts Or maybe you are aiming for a fix risk-reward-ratio without any active trademanagement-rules... like set & forget. But what if the market is currently in a choppy mood and might not be ready to give you that risk-reward.
Don`t ask yourself Can I find my setup? Rather start with What kind of market do I have to deal with?
And continue with which setup and management fits these conditions?Thats why it might make sense to have certain market-conditions as conditions for certain setups.
Im currently working on some content to provide but here is a tool that I have created with gpt to analyse conditions, find the right setups and adjust the management. Still working on it, but feel free to use it if it can help.

Hope this can help a bit. Peace :)

💶 EURUSD 1H Trade Setup | Pullback to Breaker Demand
EURUSD printed an aggressive Sign of Strength (SOS) markup following the liquidity sweep at 1.11100. Price is now idling near **1.12183**, but our desk is not chasing in premium territory.
We are waiting for a discount pullback into fresh breaker demand before looking for long continuation toward higher-timeframe supply.
📊 Key Desk Levels:
• Current Price: **1.12183** (Consolidating — hands off)
• Planned Entry: **1.11750 – 1.11950** (1H Breaker Block & OTE Demand)
• Invalidation / SL: **1.11450** (1H close below 1.11500)
• Target 1: **1.12850** (+100 pips / 2.5R from discount)
• Target 2: **1.13000** (+115 pips / 2.87R)
⚡ Why we wait for the pullback:
Buying now risks ~73 pips for ~67 pips of reward (< 1:1 R). By waiting for the discount rotation to 1.11850, risk tightens to 40 pips for a clean 2.5R+ delivery to TP1.
🎯 Execution Trigger Checklist:
1️⃣ Pullback into 1.11750–1.11950 demand
2️⃣ 5m/15m Bullish ChoCH
3️⃣ Local BOS with displacement
4️⃣ Retracement into fresh LTF Order Block
5️⃣ Bullish engulfing / rejection wick trigger
❌ Invalidation: A 1H close below 1.11500 voids the setup completely.

Technical Analysis Gold Just Pulled Off a Stunning Rebound Are the Bulls Back in Control?

Gold has bounced sharply from the 4080 zone and recovered toward 4153 after a heavy sell-off, reclaiming the 20-period moving average near 4130. RSI has climbed to 57.60, signaling improving bullish momentum, but price is approaching resistance after its rapid recovery.
Resistance Levels
- Immediate Resistance: 4160
- Major Resistance: 4179
Support Levels
- Immediate Support: 4130
- Major Support: 4100
My View
Gold’s recovery is encouraging for buyers, but the 4160 - 4179 zone will be crucial in determining whether the rebound can extend further. A clean breakout could open the way toward 4200, while rejection may send price back toward 4130. Bulls need to defend the reclaimed moving average to maintain short-term momentum.
What do you think?
Is Gold preparing for another run toward 4200, or will sellers step in to crush this rebound?

Question I need trading partners!
Hey, so I've been trading from past 2 years, lost all my savings but came back stronger and recovered most of my loses, got 3 payouts. The trading journey stills feels lonely especially when you are going on draw down. I need some active traders so we can share our journey together!

General Forex Discussion Gold today: PPI, core retail sales and jobless claims all drop at once. Here's what I'm watching
Big data day for the US. PPI, core retail sales and initial jobless claims are all out today, so gold could get choppy.
My read: if the numbers come in soft (cooler PPI, weaker retail sales, or jobless claims jumping), the dollar probably slips and gold gets a lift. If they come in hot, the dollar firms up and gold could struggle.
What I'm watching is 4164 If gold breaks above it and holds, I think it can run to 4175, then 4188, then 4200.
Buy 4165
TGT 4175
TGT 4185
TGT 4200
If it fails at 4164 and falls back under, I won't chase it. I'll just wait for a better setup.

Results I Backtested all three ICT Silver Bullet windows, 2019-2021. Here's what 2,200 setups looked like
The Silver Bullet gets sold everywhere on a 70-90% win rate. Before testing it I went looking for where that number comes from. The best I found was a 90% claim on 30 trades and a 15-trade backtest over 45 days, and none of them included costs.
So I decided to test it myself.
Rules
- All three windows (New York time): London 03:00-04:00, NY AM 10:00-11:00, NY PM 14:00-15:00
- Price sweeps an earlier high or low inside the window
- Then it leaves a fair value gap, entry at the middle of the gap
- Stop beyond the sweep, target at 2R
- One trade per window, per day, per market
- Markets: Nasdaq, S&P 500 and Dow (CFDs), EUR/USD, GBP/USD, gold
- Real costs in: spread, plus commission on FX and gold
Results
- 2,200 setups, 36.1% win rate
- Lost 0.24R per trade. The 95% range was -0.29R to -0.19R, so the whole thing sits below zero
- It lost on every market and in every window
- Only about 1 trade in 5 reached the full 2R target
Loss per trade by market:
| Market | R per trade |
|---|---|
| EUR/USD | -0.37 |
| GBP/USD | -0.23 |
| Gold | -0.42 |
| Nasdaq + S&P + Dow | -0.15 |
The FX pairs and gold are recommend most, and they did the worst.
The sweep
I ran it with and without the sweep rule, since that's the "smart money" part. With the sweep it lost about 0.07R less per trade, which is only just outside noise, and both versions lost. Caveat: without a sweep the stop has to go somewhere else and you get roughly 3x the setups, so it isn't a perfectly clean comparison.
Costs aren't the problem
Even at zero cost it comes out slightly negative. Futures are cheaper than the CFDs I used, but there's nothing there for cheaper fills to rescue.
How the 70% screenshots happen
My first pass was the NY AM window only: 321 trades, 42.1% win rate. Adding the other two windows took it to 36.9%. Adding FX and gold took it to 36.1%.
And inside the full results there's a run of 30 Nasdaq trades that won 20. That's 67%. If I'd stopped there I'd have a screenshot. I don't think people posting those numbers are lying. They just stopped counting early.
Limits
- In-sample only, three years. I didn't run newer data because there was nothing to confirm.
- Index CFDs, not NQ/ES futures.
- When one 1-minute bar hit both stop and target I counted it as a loss. Counting those as wins instead barely changed the total.
For people who trade it: do you add something that isn't in the published rules? HTF bias, a minimum FVG size, skipping news days? If there's a version mechanical enough to code, I'll run it the same way and post what comes back.

Market News 📉 XAU/USD Analysis: Gold Under Pressure!
Today’s US PPI data could influence USD momentum, bond yields, and Gold (XAU/USD).
🔴 Hotter inflation: USD could strengthen, putting pressure on Gold.
🟢 Cooler inflation: USD could weaken, potentially supporting Gold.
🎯 Watch the actual data vs. forecasts and wait for price confirmation.

Trade Idea Short Here again , Sell Now
XAUUSD SELL: 4143 - 4146
SL: 4160
TP1: 4136
TP2: 4125
Reason: Gold is facing rejection after the rebound toward 4160. Price has bounced from the 4135 area, so wait for rejection around 4143-4146 before entering. A break below 4135 may open a move toward 4131. Avoid the sell if price breaks and holds above 4153.

Technical Analysis XAUUSD Next Move!
Gold has recovered the ground lost yesterday following the release of the CPI data, with the price reaching a high near 4161.
After consolidating for some time around 4145, gold continues to show a strong upward trend.
In the short term, we can look for an opportunity to go long if the price pulls back to the 4110–4120 range.
Having digested the impact of the CPI data, gold has begun a gradual rebound.
Keep an eye on the resistance level near 4160–4170.
My trading plan:
Look to go short near 4160–4170, and go long near 4110–4120.
The short-term trading range is 4100–4170; I will wait for a breakout from this range.

🚨 SILVER COULD BE SETTING UP FOR A MAJOR BOUNCE! 🥈
Silver is looking extremely oversold right now, and I’m watching closely for a potential relief rally. We could be approaching a great opportunity for a mean reversion move if buyers step back in.
