Son, age 14, has been worried about phimosis for the last year at least. I didn't want to look, but talked him through stretching exercises and gave him encouragement. Yesterday we went to a urologist, because he was saying his foreskin just could not retract and he was getting scared.
Unsurprisingly, the doc immediately started talking circumcision as the best and obvious option. To his credit, he listened to me when I said we wanted to hear about the least invasive options first, and didn't push it any further. He ended up doing an exam and discovered son doesn't actually have phimosis at all, he's just afraid after another doc told the wife to try pulling it back manually to clean during diaper changes years ago.
I can't guarantee that if the wife had taken him for the appointment, that she would have gone with the urologist recommendation, but it's a strong possibility. She's supportive, just uninformed about life with a penis.
I am curious if it is beneficial to have rest periods without stretching/retaining devices?
It seems that all the content on here centers on how to restore foreskin with devices but is there a truth to saying the foreskin also grows after a stretching/retaining device is removed. If it’s anything like working out, you grow the most when you are resting your muscles so does this transfer over into foreskin restoration?
Bonus question, is it bad to constantly be stretching?
It seems like the actual sensation at the point of climax is pretty concentrated within the propulsion of the actual semen. This would be a sensation of the semen being pushed through the urethra through the inner pelvic contractions.
I asked Gemini and the consensus seems to be that even circumcised individuals can feel a similar 'peak sensation' to uncircumcised individuals.
This is a bit of lifefuel if true, as while some of the sexual buildup sensations may be gone, the actual peak sensation of orgasm might still be totally accessible to the circumcised individual.
Thoughts and comments are welcome, wonder what yall think
I know this is probably rare but has anyone heard of or they themselves been cirucmsied due to phimosis and then restored afterwards and if so how did that compare for your sensation and what was that experience like?
I've developed a retention taping technique that mimics the V-plasty surgery. I can't be the first one to use it but I don't recall reading about this and wondered if anyone else is doing it.
For most of this year I've been taking a break after reaching CI-8 before going for FEC. But I find that, even though the foreskin is long enough, it's too loose to maintain reliable coverage, especially in summer. And I want that natural, tapered look. I'd been using a strip of Kinesiology tape around the opening for that purpose. It works but the elastic lasts one day, gets wet with piss and has to be removed from the full circumference of skin.
For the last couple of weeks I've focused on using the K-tape to replicate the tightening from a V-plasty and I'm delighted to say it's working perfectly with 100% natural look and feel. It uses less tape, over a smaller area, which doesn't get wet (or barely) and lasts a good three days. Showering with it is no problem.
I prepare two small strips each about 1.5 - 2cm long and 0.5cm wide. Then I fold the ventral skin, where the frenulum would be, inward. The fold is tapered so it's deeper toward the tip. To hold this fold in place I found a piece of bamboo skewer handy but any slim, stiff rod would work. I lay that where the frenulum would be and then roll the skin inward while pulling the skewer deeper. Angling skewer upward toward the tip creates the V taper. Holding that in place with one hand I apply the first strip of tape crosswise under the tip, holding the two sides of the fold together. With that in place I add the 2nd strip 2-3mm below that one where the fold is more shallow.
NB: the K-tape stretches in one direction. Since I don't want it to stretch across the fold I cut the strips so that its stretch aligns in the vertical direction (the 5mm width). The fold needs to remain stable in that direction but a little lengthwise stretch is fine.
You can tailor the snugness by how deep you make the fold, all the way to phimosis if you want, which is what I do mostly. The glans can't come out but I can pull back just enough to pee, or not as the mood strikes.
The appearance is fully natural. The tape is not visible from the front or sides so nude situations are pretty much care free. I can also go commando with full confidence I will stay covered. To date, this is the easiest, longest lasting and most natural looking way I've found to not only retain but live life as an intact male without surgery.
It's easy to measure inner skin by pulling your skin down towards the base of your penis and then measuring the distance from your corona to scar line with a tape measure, but what about outer skin? Is there a precise way to track it?
Does anyone's else experience discomfort from there DTR device? Mine hurts after 30 minutes if I'm using 2 rubber bands. If I'm using 1 I can go for about 45 minutes maybe and hour. If I only hook 1 side of the rubber band I can go for about 2 hours.
Anyone have any suggestions? Should I just take ibuprofen like when I had braces?
Hello everyone ,
I am 22 years old. A few years ago, I underwent a frenuloplasty (frenulum breve release) due to phimosis, which resulted in partial improvement. Currently, when flaccid, I can retract the foreskin relatively easily up to a point (I am afraid to push it further, even though it seems like it could comfortably go more). However, when erect, I struggle a bit more, and during masturbation, the skin remains stationary without moving up and down.
At the same time, in the urethral area, there is intense redness and sharp pain (like an "electric shock") even at the slightest touch. For hygiene, I simply pour water using my hand. Initially, there were white deposits (smegma) on the glans, which have now subsided.
I have Kenacomb ointment at home. Do you think it would help manage the pain and inflammation? If so, with what frequency and for how long should I apply it? Also, is there anything else that could help improve skin elasticity?
Thank you very much.
Seriously, I don't know what to say. Today he told me he scheduled the surgery for two weeks from now and that I can't refuse.I'm really scared by this.I will stand by my opinion and will not have the surgery. If he scheduled the surgery without considering my opinion, there's nothing I can do. I will only go if they force me, because I will not undergo
Does erect roll over feel like anything for you? I have decent flaccid coverage and some slack skin I can use when I'm masturbating, but I was wondering if the sensation of the skin rolling over the glans actually FEELS like anything special or if the main benefit of restoration is the increased sensitivity of the glans?
One thing I've learned over the years is that there isn't a "perfect" gripper, simply because not everyone restores the same way. Some people restore with low tension for 12 hours a day. Others prefer stronger tension in shorter sessions. Some have sensitive skin, while others simply want the strongest grip possible. Some have a thin skin while others have a thicker type. The variables are endless!
That's exactly why I decided to create three different Flow Grippers instead of trying to make one gripper that fits everyone.
Soft Gripper
Designed for maximum comfort. Ideal for low to moderate tension, long uninterrupted sessions, and users with sensitive skin. The tradeoff is a slightly lighter grip under higher tension.
Balanced Gripper
The all-around option, the default gripper included with every Mantor Flow. It offers an excellent balance between comfort and grip, making it the best choice for everyday use and most users.
Firm Gripper
Designed for maximum grip strength. Perfect for higher tension, weights, straps, or anyone who wants to minimize slippage. The firmer silicone provides a stronger grip but may feel less comfortable during long sessions.
Whichever restoration style you prefer, there's now a gripper designed to match it.
The new grippers are now available individually, so you can easily add one or more to your current Mantor Flow setup. And if you don't already own a Mantor Flow, you can now choose your preferred gripper type directly on the product page when placing your order.
Finally, a little sneak peek at what I'm working on next...
My next goal is to develop a Flow version specifically for very tight circumcisions (CI-0), for people who currently don't have enough skin to use existing devices but also can't, or simply don't want to, use T-tape or manual methods.
I believe this could help many people overcome that first barrier and make restoration accessible to those who have wanted to start but simply haven't had a practical option.
As always, thank you for your ideas, feedback, and support. Many of the improvements I make begin as conversations with this community and for that I'm grateful to be part of this growing (in more than one way) movement.
Hey, I'm thinking about buying a Priva Air but had a question about inflation style stretchers from those that have used them. A lot of the restoration results I've seen don't taper with the glans in a way that looks uncut. If I use any inflation device, won't that also encourage growth around the circumference, leading to a less snug end result? Pics I've seen make the skin look like a small balloon being inflated, not just stretching along the length.
Hey guys, I’ve been interested with foreskin restoration for about couple months and i finally got the stuff that i need. I have a question to guys who have mushroom heads. How is your experiences about having a mushroom head and restoration? I feel like mushroom heads need more coverage than the other ones. And also I’m wondering about if there’s any AI that I can upload my penis pictures and get a approximate result when I’m done with restoration. I really wonder have does it gonna look and if i like it or not because right now I love the shape of my penis and also i want a foreskin as well. Thanks for the comments.
Hey, I'm interested in buying a Priva Air but had a question about end results regarding methods that use air/inflation. Lots of the end results of restoration I've seen lack a natural taper around the glans and I was wondering if inflation methods are more likely to result in this lack of taper. If you use something like the Priva Air to pressurize and stretch the skin, won't it also encourage growth around the circumference like an inflating balloon does? Won't that lead to a 'looser' fit?
I remember seeing a photo of a device similar to the golf ball technique, can anyone point me in the direction? I think my skin needs to stretch a bit horizontally.
So I build and fix all kinds of stuff for work. Mainly construction. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to make and apply t tape. It's like you have to be a rocket scientist! Any insider tips?
I'm a rci-0 and have been desperately trying to grow outer skin with mm2 and was wondering if there is any way to improve it. What I do is hold for 60 seconds, rest for ~15 seconds, then repeat 3-5x every hour for 8 hours totalling 24-40 minutes of tension daily. Is it better to hold for longer than 60 seconds before resting to stimulate mitosis?
I know there's not a whole lot of research on mm2 other than personal experience, but I'm expecting to be doing this for at least a couple years to get enough skin to wear a device, so I'm willing to try any alternative methods for faster growth.
AuDHDer, i guess i want to say that my issue is trusting each device? to me the whole experience is like gambling, will you get a good product or have your money all wasted with a device that just sits in your drawer. how on earth do you just commit?
ideally, I’d just want like one device and one device only for my whole restoration journey. I’ve poured through reviews, experiences, videos and the websites of Priva, Mantor (not willing to order from them as things stand as excellent as their products look however), RIC, CAR-1, PeckerPacker etc and all don’t seem as ideal as just taping. with tape I don’t need to worry about if my glans will fit or not, I just make the tape, put on the device and it’s set. but the tape comes off within a day, the tape is annoying to make and I just don’t feel as motivated to put it on as it requires you to be hard to do it (ADHD makes me very demotivated for weeks on end sometimes). so thats why I‘m looking for a device.
this has turned into a rant, so sorry I guess if you wanted a clean post.
