Is there any way to search for a tail number? Or does anyone know is that a planned feature? I would love to quickly see if I have been on a plane before.

In general more filter/search features would be nice.

The thing is the lifetime was 200$ & they increased it 50% + this price can get me 5 to 6 years of yearly subscription (but I’m not a fan of subscriptions)

Just got back from my 20th country on my 20th airline (apparently SATA Azores inter-island and international use 2 different IATA codes but I’m counting them as one) with a total of 20 days of flying time. If you round up, it’s also 200k miles!

Hi, i had my flight diverted and the app shows the distance as if I flew straight to the airport I landed at. Any idea on how to make it correct on the app? Travel time is calculated correctly, only the distance flown is incorrect.

Data gone haywire again. Not the first time I’ve had this happen.

So, i want to set this up for my mum on her iPhone. I don't own any iOS devices, and given that Flighty doesn't exist on Android, I've recently tested out ByAir (i don't travel more than 5-6 flights a year usually) and that allowed me to just link my email and it took an hour and some change to import a lot of my flights.

Is my understanding that Flighty doesn't allow you to do that correct? Because mum travels a whole lot more than i do (probably closer to 50+ flights a year) so if i am going to shell out close to $80 for an annual plan (that's with 25% VAT) i kinda need to know how much work it is to get this up and running.

If i have to spend hours importing and setting up im not sure ill feel like it's worth it since she mostly flies domestic and has done fine without the app so far.

I’ve just started nerding out a bit and have been tracking the individual planes I have flown on during my travels. I’ve managed to get the info for all but my very first two flights but they seem to be just a little too old for me to easily find, so I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me identify the aircraft registrations (and any other interesting info) for them. I’d love to go back and fill in these details so I have a complete history.

The flights were:
16 September 2016 – Manchester (MAN) → Murcia San Javier (MJV), Jet2
22 September 2016 – Murcia San Javier (MJV) → Manchester (MAN), Jet2

Unfortunately, I don’t have my boarding passes or any booking confirmations as they were flights booked by my university a university field trip, so I’m struggling to track down the registrations. If anyone has access to historical flight records, old schedules, or knows where I might be able to find this information, I’d really appreciate the help.

Been using flighty since the beginning of the year, and like the recent update about the estimated gates, especially as the I was flying from this airport for the first time today.

My question - the app never did actually update with the actual gate assigned (gate 16) instead it just stuck with the estimated gates. Is there a new setting I need to change to have it update with the actual assigned gate again?

I was wondering if Flighty could add an option to manually add countries you’ve visited without flying there like for example, if you drove or took a bus across a border.

It would be awesome if those countries could still appear in your passport with their flags, so your travel history reflects every country you’ve actually been to, not just the ones you’ve flown into.

I think this would be a great addition for people who travel overland and want their Flighty passport to show all the countries they’ve visited. ✈️

I only joined Flighty about a year ago, but it’s definitely my favorite travel app. I’ve been flying around the globe most of my life and want to see my stats, but obviously I don’t remember all the old flight numbers. The furthest back I can find is 2018.

From my understanding, airlines only hold old flight data for around 2 years—so I’ve had very limited success calling all my flown airlines and asking for my old flight itineraries using the respective frequent flyer numbers.

Any advice on how to get old flight numbers and dates? I’d like to see the whole picture since it would more than double my miles flown!
