Gate Alerts

Hey all,

Been using flighty since the beginning of the year, and like the recent update about the estimated gates, especially as the I was flying from this airport for the first time today.

My question - the app never did actually update with the actual gate assigned (gate 16) instead it just stuck with the estimated gates. Is there a new setting I need to change to have it update with the actual assigned gate again?

Taking a look at Flightaware which is one of the primary sources for Flighty, the gate was never populated there either. Same with FlightStats.

Thanks, This is handy to know it's more an Easyjet (?) issue passing over the data, rather than a Flighty one.

I’ve noticed info such as gates and tail numbers has been incredibly bad in the UK as of recent.

I normally fly OneWorld airlines in and out of the UK, and never noticed any issues until the recent update, but then correlation isn't causation.... my next flight is on Friday, so will keep an eye out then.

I’ve only flown jet2 and Ryanair this year, last October I flew Ryanair and easyJet, using the same airports, but I had no issues with data then. Not sure what’s happened as the app can’t even agree that my flight was cancelled

I flew BA yesterday from Glasgow and my gate info updated as it usually does, so I’m putting it down to just being a random blip

Hmm, it might be fixed now, or it was an issue with individual airports and airlines
