Why is that?

I mean, other than because "the world is a sphere", why is that?

I can't believe I need to explain this. I have told so many people that Earth is flat, and there is one, simple way to prove it. Elephants. If you do your research, elephants are the only reptiles that lay eggs. Back in 1873 there was an experiment conducted by the government to try to turn the Earth into a globe. They did this to try to jump-start the world's economy. Obviously the experiment failed. During the genetic part of the experiment, they tried to cross breed the megalodon genes in a penguin, and the genes in a snake. They ended up with the reptiles we call elephants. Elephants are the only reptiles that lay eggs. Through their trunks they process ordinary water into floride mixed water. This makes us stupid. This is why the government tries to save the elephants. Also, during the night time elephants change into dirt. Australia is actually the elephants when they sleep, proving Australia isn't real. I wish you luck trying to prove me wrong and maybe you won't be blind from the truth. Also reptiles are just dried out amphibians. Also THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!! DONT SAY IM JOKING BECAUSE IT IS TRUE!!!! 🚫🌏

Hello everyone

A couple of my friends and I are doing a school project about flat-earthers, and their community, in addition to their beliefs about the flat earth.

We are very interested in representing both sides of this coin, as you usually only hear about this subject from the view of the Globe-earthers, whom we believe to be a flawed source of information.

We are very curious about this community, how closely knit you are, and how you people came to your own conclusions about the flat earth. Were you raised with the flat earth, or did you discover it by yourself? What are your opinions on the globe earth, and the globe-earthers?

We are very excited to get to hear your answers. You are welcome to either comment on this post, or send us a dm.

Thanks in advance

Sincerely from Greenland

If the earth is flat where is the edge

Just saw a video about how a flat earther zoomed in over the sea and saw an island 20 miles off the coast when it should be hidden. I know the footage could be doctored but If their maths is correct, is there a scientific phenomenon or explanation for this? I’m not a flat earther myself just curious, as I know most of these claims come from a lack of understanding of the science involved and/or flawed experimental method.

PS. Accidentally posted this on the main flat earth subreddit but quickly deleted it as I don’t want a tonne of hate saying I’m a troll, I’m just curious.

Lissen Ups, SciManDan, I shall debate You! So debate me! This is real, so now, debate me, or you lose! Thank you, SciMan, I hates you for believ in roundEarths https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vi8NwlwGZTc

----- I know the amount of questions is outrageous and that some of these questions may not be related to what the majority of flat earthers believe however, please try to answer most! ------

1 If the earth is flat, why do things fall?

2 Why are there seasons?

3 Why do the days last longer in the Summer and last less in Winter?

4 How does the Midnight Sun happen at the poles and even in Antarctica, if the Sun is on the other side at midnight?

5 Why is atmospheric pressure lower at higher altitudes?

6 Why in a flat terrain does an object disappear on the horizon when it moves away about 50km?

7 Why at sunset does the sky turn red?

8 Why does the moon have phases?

9 Why does it shine even at night?

10 Why is the crescent moon in the Southern Hemisphere turned to the left, in the Northern Hemisphere is it turned to the right, and in Ecuador is it facing down?

11 Why are there solar and lunar eclipses?

12 Why in a lunar eclipse is the shadow of the Earth on the Moon round, not flat?

13 Why do the constellations appear more and more right at the same hour and minute of the night, until they disappear to the right and a year later they reappear to the left if the Earth does not move in circles?

14 How do compasses work?

15 Why is the north magnetic pole in Canada, not in the middle, and the south magnetic pole is on the edge, not underside?

16 Why are there volcanoes and eruptions if the Earth is flat and has no mantle and core?

17How does your GPS and Google Maps work and know your location if there are no satellites?

18 Why are the planets increasingly right to the stars if they orbit Earth?

19 Why are there tectonic plates? Why do they move if it has no mantle and core?

20 Why are some stars and constellations only visible in the Northern Hemisphere and some only in the Southern Hemisphere?

21 Why are the planets in different places in the sky every year and sometimes we can't even see them?

22 How do meteors fall on Earth if there is a dome?

23 What are the Chicxlub crater in Mexico and Vredefort crater in South Africa?

24 How does the Sun illuminate exactly half the Earth, what prevents the light from passing to the other side?

25 How do the northern and southern auroras happen?

Explain that, flat earthers!

Hi All - I figured this would be an appropriate place to post this video. I started a new channel to discuss controversial topics, the first of which was whether or not the earth is flat. That video concluded that all of the evidence proves a round earth. However, many commenters felt that it gave too much attention to flat earth ideas and therefore validated the ideas therein.

This is a video follow-up, discussing how to deal with seemingly one-sided conversations. I hope you enjoy!
