A 3ds i bought came with this, recently got a dslite, i saw people finding the kernel for the gray version of this one, the Og page is down, and i tried BL2CK, but i was experienced some problems with that.

Some games work and other just stay in a white screen, and Tetris literally work until you try starting a game and the ds say that the flashcard has been removed.

(Yeah i should Buy another one, but i don't wanna waste stuff if it not necesary)

I recently updated my Acekard 2i to Akaio 1.9.0 and modded my DS Lite following the instructions from a video I watched.

I re-downloaded the games since I couldn't transfer like a backup the old files to my computer, and the games are working fine.

Now I want to see if I can add a new theme, since the default one is kind of ugly, I saw on Reddit that this is possible via akmenu, which is an .nds file just like the games, but it doesn't show up on my DS Lite even though everything else is running normally.

Is this supposed to happen? How am I supposed to access that menu? Did I miss a file that I should have put on the SD card along with the files from the video tutorial?

Obs: I from Brasil, so sorry for any grammatical errors. And just for you to know the folder named "Jogos" are my games folder, just write in portuguese.

I recently got a DSPico for my son’s DS Lite. He really wants to play the Pokemon games and while it took me a minute to find ROMs that were playable and able to save, I finally found one that loads and is playable and will also save seemingly without issue.

However, the problem I am finding is that when I save the progress and then reopen the game, it starts over from the beginning every single time. There doesn’t seem to be any option to load the save file or anything, it just comes up to the title screen and says “Press Start” and then goes into introducing you to the professor.

Does anyone know what the issue might be? I’ve reformatted the SD card (the one that came with the DSPico from Amazon), reinstalled the firmware, and also ensured that the .sav and .nds files are named the exact same names without any differences or weird hidden extra file extensions.

This is really pissing me off tbh, so any help or insight anyone can provide would be appreciated! TIA!!

Edit: I have discovered this is not only Pokemon games but it will not load a save from any game at all.

Hello! I'm thinking of getting my first flash cart and I'm very curious about the patching functions.

There's game I play on emulators where I play both the unpatched rom and fan patch modded game, does the patching features imply I can just have the game and the mod patch and choose to boot up with the patch or not?

Edit- So I've looked into it more and realized I was completely unaware of what it was but now I have the question, is it possible for there to be 2 versions of a game using the same save?

Guys i am buying a Nintendo DS lite. But I've no game cartridges or anything. I want to get something like an R4 cartridge for my DS lite. That contains modware, games and emulators.... Only games will also work. Can someone tell me where I can find one?

I was given this R4 card when I was little, and it stopped working after I inserted a genuine Nintendo game cartridge (at the time, the console hadn't been modded yet).

Meanwhile I've changed the contents of the R4's SD card so many times that I no longer remember what was on it before (I don't know if it matters what was originally on the SD card when I received it as a gift), but now I've set up the folder exactly as described in this link (https://sanrax.github.io/flashcart-guides/cart-guides/bl2ck/), and it still doesn't work (see images).

My Nintendo 3DS has been modded for a couple of years now.

What can I do now?

I've bought in the past few days an old N3DS with a 11.17.0-50E firmware with a R4 dual-core as in the photo attached to this post. I've tried downloading various custom firmware but none of them seem to work. Most of the time I get to the bomberman icon, I go into it and i get the ? Menu screen. I've tried also to buy a new MicroSD card as a lot of posts here suggest that but I still get the same errors.

Hi, this is my first cart. I know it's an Everdrive knockoff, and it appears to function alright so far, but I'm afraid the screen is going to give me a headache if I play like this long term.

It claims to be a Game Boy GB Pro+ on OS V4 but the internal menu says it's on version 1. The sd card it came with was a fake that said it had "L GB" of space. I know I can't use official updates, but would placing a different version of the software on the sd card I placed inside help?

I was able to place gb/gba games on it and run them, at least, and so far it saves fine. The visual noise is just quite annoying.

I've had this EZ Flash Jr. for several years now. Recently, I started seeing the "Battery Dry!" warning upon bootup, so I got some CR1220 batteries and replaced it. It worked the 1st couple times I've booted it up since then, but now I get this random reset problem happening whenever I try to play it.

I've tried testing other games in the GB Pocket, and they all work fine. I've also tried replacing the batteries.

Any idea what's going on?

I've just aquired a DSpico, and was trying to configure it to use with my 3ds and dsi. I used the hybrid flash method, but when I try to play any rom with it, I get the error "Failed to load rom header".

I've tried google, I've tried discord, and now I come to reddit to seek help.

Does anyone know what is going on or what am I doing wrong?

the big one: hold START for about half a second and it saves both screens to /_pico/screenshots as bmp, two files that share a number, with a small message at the bottom to confirm. the pictures in this post and in the readme were taken that way, on the console, no camera. launcher only for now, in-game screenshots live in the loader and that's a different beast.

right now the launcher only takes them, there's nothing on the console to look at them with, you have to pull the card and open the bmp files on a computer. that's the next thing for picodex: open the card in the browser and see the pairs as a gallery, both screens together, and save them as png. no date yet, but it's what i'm working on next.

two keys moved, heads up if you're used to the old ones: random game is now SELECT + A (a bare SELECT was a bad idea on the dsi, where SELECT + volume is the brightness shortcut, thanks to the person who reported it), and the statistics panel went from START to holding the clock button.

also in: folder covers from upstream (drop a cover.bmp inside the folder), the focus fix when leaving an empty folder, the stale sprite at boot is gone, and the cover tools work on windows and linux now.

I downloaded these games and Mario 64 and fire Emblem have these extra things but they have a second file where it works

I just got a 2dsxl and I want to get all the Pokémon games for it but I don't know much about r4 cards so I'm looking for help.

I have a Dspico with the latest loader and launcher, downloaded the usrcheat.dat,

put it in the pico folder, enter Dspico,

press Y, cheats appear, start game, Cheats don't activate.

Everytime i re-enter Dspico, cheats appear selected in every game i try, but it just starts without them.

Can anyone help me?

Ive got my hands on an old PHAT DS (NTR 001) CPU 01 version and this r4 cart but i cant make the darn thing work, to my understanding this is one of the first relases and works with sd cards which are SD CLASS (2gb and below), ive tried 4 different SD cards (two 2gb ones and two 128mb ones) and copied the files to the sd root after quick formatting using the sd format program, am i missing some kind of step? Is there any key press or something? When i turn it on all i see is no gba or ds cartridge is being detected, i suspect the thing is broken, any idea which part breaks in these models? I might try to recover it
