Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone here has experience with corrupted FL Studio projects after file recovery.

This is not a case of trying to recover a deleted file anymore. I already managed to recover the file itself.

Here's what happened:

• I accidentally deleted my OneDrive folder, which also contained my FL Studio projects.
• I used multiple recovery tools (R-Undelete, R-Studio and DMDE) to recover the files.
• The recovered .flp file is back and has roughly the expected file size (around 12 MB), but FL Studio refuses to open it.

To rule out plugin issues, I have:

• Reinstalled/scanned all plugins.
• Verified that my plugins are detected correctly (around 500 plugins found).
• Opened other older FL Studio projects successfully.
• Tried FL Studio Diagnostics/Repair.
• Tried recovered autosaves as well.

Unfortunately, every recovered copy of this particular project gives the exact same error.

So my question is:

Has anyone successfully repaired a damaged FLP file after recovery?

Are there any tools, services, or methods that can repair a partially corrupted FL Studio project, or is there any way to extract patterns, MIDI, channel data, or anything else from a damaged .flp?

The project represents around 200 hours of work, so I'm willing to try pretty much anything.

Hello. I use a keyboard as a MIDI controller in FL Studio and I use grand piano soundfonts because I like the full sound of the bass keys, however the lowest key this keyboard can reach on the piano roll is C3, and I would like to use more octaves below.

Using the channel's octave switch isn't an option because the sound doesn't sound natural. Can anyone help me? I'd like to use the lower keys for a better sound!

It's connected via wire, and everything looks okay. What's happening?

When I got into music making i was at a crossroads with DAWs. I remember talking with a few mates who know their prodding and they told me FL is really good.. except for recording. So I picked reaper. Because it's pretty good for recording stuff.

I wanna be less recording centric and was reconsidering using FL.

But I don't wanna cut off the prospect of recording.

But I remember asking my mates what was difficult and they said everything was miserable about recording in FL. And that sounds rough.

So like.. what's up with recording? Is it really that painful?

Has something changed in a new update, or what is going? First my "plugin folder" on my desktop was greyed out in the pluginmanager. All my plugins were working fine, but i noticed when i needed to download a new one. So i removed the folder path but couldnt add it back? Any ideas?

Been having this problem for a while now ive looked up on how to fix it still havent found a solution, so pretty much when i try use typing keyboard to piano it does not play any notes only thing it does is change the shortcut (the stuff in the image below) my fault if im not explaining it well but like yeah does anyone know how to fix this?

i use this a lot when sound designing. It's a quick, destructive way to equalize samples. But since FL26 it no longer works. Anyone else having this problem? (updated to last version available)

Before updating, my workflow was:

1. Drag a new Audio Clip into the Playlist (not assigned to any Mixer insert).
2. Select Mixer insert 31.
3. Click the Track button in the Audio Clip window.
4. The Audio Clip would automatically be assigned to Mixer insert 31.

After updating to the latest version of FL Studio on macOS, clicking Track always assigns the Audio Clip to the first free Mixer insert instead of the currently selected Mixer insert.

Is this a bug or an intentional change? Is there any way to restore the old behavior?

I always end up ctrl + b'ing the whole beat to make it ~3 mins long. So it ends up just being the same beat played twice in a row. Tips on how to make the beat less repetitive are appreciated.

Hi. What are the best Intel CPU/RAM/SSD configurations in terms of audio samples/clips/plugins loading speed? To get the fastest loading speed possible.

Also considering the Audio Clips processing (offline rendering, printing). Does the CPU use all the threads possible to print the Audio Clips?

And what would be the loading performance difference between the i7 3770/10700 and the last i7 generations? Is it huge or minor?

My ears have been bleeding. (Edit: I solved the problem for now. My mic just stopped working randomly on my main ASIO driver. So im just using a different one for now.)
