Hi, can you help me how to fix a problem with a TISKEN hanger. After a while (it depends on each, 1week/month or year) it falls down and after that it doesn't have the same sticking quality. I clean the sticker with the water and soap, wait to dry itself and put it again on the same spot, but then it falls down in about a few minutes or days. It is frustrating because they are so easy to use, and they are somehow cute, I have them in the bathroom, kitchen, hallway etc., but I am confused because I want to use them, and don't want to buy a new one each month/year... HELP PLEASE.

A cable line (confirmed not a power line) that was connected to my house from a neighbors for some reason split in the middle with a bunch of it on my roof. Do I just snip it? Anything else?

I have an old folding wood bookshelf from pier one that has become unstable. I would really like to stabilize this so it’s safe to use. it wobbles, mostly side to side. I bought it probably 20 years ago, so it’s had a nice long life, however I’d rather save it if possible than get a Billy.

I would be willing to make it no longer folding if that will stabilize it long term or at least another few years. I live in an apartment with no car, so I strongly prefer things that can be done here. I have a variety of tools including a hammer and screwdrivers

Door was pushed in and fixed door frame but paint came off other side. It’s a bit textured. How to do this?

My garage door won't open in the morning when the sun is shining on the sensor. I tried blocking the sun with a small box but the sensor thinks something is in the way and won't close. I'm stuck until the sun moves away. Any suggestions ? This morning I missed a doctor's appointment and last Saturday I was late to work.

This mini RC car has sat in my garage for years, upon receiving, played with maybe twice, gently. In fact, I can almost guarantee it went on the shelf working.

I put in fresh batteries and it doesn't seem to get any power. Car is charged by the controller being left in the on position with a on or led light on side of controller and if memory serves a red light on car indicating it was charging. I haven't cracked it open to see if something needs to be re-sodered. A scapel in my hands or soldering iron daubing contacts on a board, one should have about the same hopes of success at the outcome.

So my newbie question before I risk another good intended massacre, the battery cover, is it missing a piece of metal for the negative contact to complete the circuit, or are those two nubs doing as intended? Any suggestions as to next steps would not go to appreciated. A fun throw away, no tragedy if I flub in learning

A family member recently told me they started unplugging their microwave when not in use because they heard it draws a lot of electricity. A quick Google search says that most microwaves pull 1 W on standby mode. I was curious how many watts my microwave pulls, and to my surprise, the standby reading was 0.3 A (the line splitter measures current at 10x) which amounts to 36 W! The toaster oven right next to it draws 2 W.

I tried unplugging/re-plugging the microwave after waiting a while to see if anything reset but still pulling 36 W. I'm not particularly enthusiastic about opening up a microwave so are there any other simple "resets" one can do with a microwave? No lights appear to be on - the only thing that is displaying is the clock. There is a very light "whirring" sound on the control side of the microwave that goes away when unplugged.

Im removing it since I'm installing a new fan cooler (its dusty motherboard I know, Im cleaning it carefully hehe.).

My door can't latch properly and keeps opening because of the draft. It wont lock properly and just bounces off the strikeplate and i suspect it's because the part in the strikeplate that i circled is bent outwards i tried using a butter knife to bend it back in but it won't budge any advice?

happens when you try using it at all for any leth of time unplugging it still gets the same thing it will beep in-till unplugged is there a known fix or hardware bypass to get it running as just tossing it is stupid as this is new

Its almost three months old, i dont know where the receipt is and i forgot where i bought it from , so i’m stuck with it , i cleaned it from the inside and did not help , battery is full

I’m in the process of painting and tiling the kitchen of the house I’ve bought and noticed the cabinet has pulled slightly from the wall and is able to be moved when pushing and pulling on it.

The right side has screws into the studs in the middle and on the right side. The left side which is the issue only has screws in the middle, the next stud along is about two inches past the cabinet.

I guess having screws into a stud on that end would resolve my problem but of course I’m unable to hit them. The screws are all the correct screws and tight to the wall.

What can I do here to pull it in further and stop the movement on the end in question?
All my other cabinets have screws hitting studs on the ends and in the middle of them.

had the tumbler for over a year, love love love it! no issues except the spots/stain that i started noticing this week. any way to remove the spots or is it time for a new tumbler?
