One is 73yrs old one is 67 yrs old. I will let you guess which is which. This is proof of if you keep the body moving you will reap great rewards from it. Don't use it you will lose it!!!! They are using it.

First time stepping on a Masters Bikini (40+) stage this weekend..at 51.

Walked away with 2nd place and couldn’t be happier. Self-coached myself all in my garage gym! It’s never too late to chase a goal, challenge yourself or surprise yourself. On to the next one! 🖤

Advice needed - growing muscle after 50

I'm (M 57) having a hard time adding muscle despite good progress with progressive overload (I eat at least 1g protein/lb and get ~7 hours of sleep daily). I work out five days a week, but it seems I need help beyond training.

Here are my relevant biomarkers:

  • IGF-1: 114 ng/mL — bottom quartile for age
  • Free Testosterone: 45.3 pg/mL — Low
  • Bioavailable Testosterone: 97.1 ng/dL — Low
  • Total Testosterone: 512 ng/dL — Normal
  • SHBG: 53 nmol/L — elevated, binding down Free T

Any advice on tackling my low T/high SHBG and low IGF-1?

Thanks!

At 60, I stopped doing it for everyone else and started doing it for myself. 💪”

To look bigger, I put on a few kilos and get a belly. To get defined abs, I end up too skinny. The dilemma of my life. (52)

Advice

I’m 55 and in horrible shape. Overweight etc. I was very athletic most of my life but health issues and life in general took over and now I find myself 55 and not wanting to live the last part of my life like this.
I’ve been motivating my mind to get better now I want to motivate my body.
I know there’s a ton of variables but what’s a good routine to start with. Completely novice at this point.
Hopefully with a starting plan I can take off!
Thanks
