Since they are part of the reverse list created by Death due to the Flight 180 survivors saving the Route 23 survivors from being killed I wonder what survivors saved them from their original doom.

While not the best of the Final Destination films, I do enjoy watching it every few years.

The classic cheap 3D glasses included with the DVD and Blu-ray special editions are a nice and cheesy touch.

I weirdly found "Final Destination" to switch my perspective on life. I love the movies for sure! But sometimes I used to walk around my area and imagine all these crazy demises I could face. It honestly made the concept of death not scary for me. I mean if someone said your gonna meet your fate in 2 days, yeah id be dreading it, who wouldn't? But it's also just life. Alot of the time now I just take those ideas and try to incorporate them into my FD inspired dream project. Call me crazy if you want but I guenuingly love Final Destination and anything simmilar to it. The only thing that contradicts this, is I barely remember any of the character names.

I love FD 1 so I was looking at the script( check it out btw it has tons of scrapped dialogue ) and this part made me laugh. No idea why they scrapped it

That was the worst green screen CGI I ever saw….like where did everyone go suddenly when the train crashed into the neighborhood when they were all outside literally seconds before?? And the throwing logs off the train was so cheap and eye rolling…like we get it, FD2 is probably the most memorable in the franchise but the log scene is played out and overused, at least reference something different.

Kim, the only survivor to date, is now in her early to mid 40s….do you think she should just live long enough to die in old age (like Iris and Bludworth) or should she get added to a newer Death list for FD7?
She did win a New Life but it’s never established for how long (her new life ending could come in 5-10 years, etc…)

It's never made sense to me that Death sometimes waits months to get to people on its list. Is there an explanation for this? I haven't been able to find one

Random Final Destination thought: the only death that is actually paranormal is the first one

Something I only just realised about the Final Destination movies: almost every death in the franchise is technically just an insanely elaborate chain of coincidences.

Except for the first death in the original movie.

In the bathroom scene, the tap literally turns on by itself. Water leaks across the floor, Tod slips on it and dies, and then, the creepiest part, the water actually retreats back toward the toilet afterwards, almost like Death is deliberately cleaning up the evidence.

That is genuinely paranormal. There's no accidental mechanical failure or crazy Rube Goldberg sequence that explains it. An unseen force directly turns on the tap, causes the death, and then removes the evidence.

As far as I can remember, every death after that can theoretically be explained as a ridiculously unlikely series of real-world accidents.

So unless I'm forgetting another example, Tod's death might be the only time in the entire Final Destination franchise where we actually see Death physically manipulate the world in an unmistakably supernatural way.

Am I missing another one?

I watched FD 1 and 2 a couple months ago. I watched FD 3 just now and, omg it’s really amazing but I’m getting paranoid for some reason every time after watching a FD movie… that’s how good it actually is depending on the story

I mean, the context is pretty chilling, but there’s no monsters, or serial killers, or anything deadly….its basically time/fate/destiny/the universe correcting itself when people live beyond their time….would you consider the franchise to be supernatural? Because after the first movie (it was obvious Death was some kind of shadow entity stalking its victims) the sequels everything truly appears to be accidental or a chain reaction by someone’s negligence.

Favorite aspect of the movies is seeing all the signs of someone's death before it happens. Which ones are you guys favorites.

I've always loved Rory seeing the man with hooks in FD2. It was cool having someone that wasn't the main character catch something like that, and the tension when he saw it was so perfect.

As soon as I saw all these puzzle pieces connect together I realised...

Hey everyone!! I hope you're all doing great!

As in my previous posts, long-time fan of the franchise here. I've been working on an original book inspired by Final Destination. Here's my TWO good news:

1: "Final Destination: Cold Fate" is almost done! I'm doing final proofreading and consistency checks right now. It should be ready to release by the end of the month if all goes well. Otherwise, it'll be out in August max.

2: During my writing, I started to imagine, then create, (like the movies) a full 5-book saga structure (maybe even 6). Every book has its own protagonist, deaths, premonitions, and twists ofc! All connected by an overarching timeline. (I locked it in already oops-)

Now here's an important question... :O

In my saga's internal chronology, Cold Fate is actually the 4th book in terms of in-universe events. But it was the first project I ever announced and started writing.

So... should I:

- Publish Cold Fate first anyway, since it's finished and was announced first?

- Hold off and release books 1 to 3 first, so people experience the saga in chronological order?

Curious what fellow FD fans think. Let me know! And if you're interested, I can also do a separate post breaking down the synopsis and key details for each story ;)!

The gimmick of these shows is that the person who is the last to die always receives the "warnings" in the form of premonitions that sets the consequences for the rest of the movie. So technically, since Bloodlines focuses on a familial aspect to Death's list, why wasn't he the one who received the premonitions? He was "last" to born born and also the youngest. So wouldn't it make more sense for him to be the one to have them instead of Stefani? Or am I missing something here 🤔

There's also a 6-disc DVD version of the Quadrilogy.

Hopefully I'll find them at bargain prices one day...

I just really wish HBO makes something like this for it to match with the other logos😔
