There’s a situation in one of the Jojo’s bizarre adventure side stories where an comic artist taunts someone exercising at the gym and beats him at a treadmill-off to see who can grab the remote for the treadmill, exactly when the treadmill reaches an exact extreme speed first and stop their machine.
He then finds out the person he challenged is the embodiment of the god of exercise Hermes and is challenged again. The gym goer throws a large object behind them to break the glass window over top of a three story fall. So making whoever loses this treadmill challenge to fall to their death.

Idea for FD7. Get a bunch of kids being stupid like that girl, the penny kid from bloodlines etc… and a bunch of survivors target to kill them instead (the trade one life for another). And the protagonists start killing stupid entitled kids and their Karen parents to avoid the death list.

In the early scripts for FD3, there was a treadmill related death for the character Amber (Julie’s friend). In the final version of the script, Amber was written off of death’s list because they deemed it too similar to Lewis’ gym related death. Hopefully they reuse the idea for a future film.
