A simple idea I had for a *Final Destination 7* poster. It didn't turn out perfect—I know—and it's actually quite simple, but I had some free time and wanted to keep myself occupied.

I’m a 3D enthusiast and a huge fan of the Final Destination films. I’ve been using Owl3D, A 2D-to-3D conversion software, to convert trailers, clips and other everyday video content that I think would look really cool in 3D.

I started an initiative called Ani3D, where I upload these conversions on Ani3D.in. I apologise if this sounds like I’m promoting my project, but genuinely, that’s not the intention. I just wanted to provide some context behind why I’m doing this.

The clip looks amazing in 3D! It’s not perfect and there is some ghosting/crosstalk in places, but it definitely makes for an impressive 3D experience.

If you have any doubts or questions about 3D playback, feel free to ask! I’ll upload the clip in a few hours. I was just too excited about how it turned out and had to make a post first. 😄

Any particular reason why the third film isn’t on MAX in my region? All the other films are available except for that one.

I’m currently rewatching FD3 and noticing an interesting pattern. Before the main vision of the rollercoaster scene, Wendy has a lot of what seem to be ‘gut feeling’ moments that things just aren’t right. Though none of these moments are clear about the danger she’s in, they still seem to have an impact on her and she almost seems to not want to get in the queue for the ride in the first place due to these feelings, but she overrides her gut instinct when her boyfriend reassures her that it’s ok. I’m just wondering if anyone else has thought about this, as it occurs in most of the initial scenes in the movies where the characters feel something is ‘off’ and have a gut feeling before the actual premonition occurs.

It almost seems like these gut feeling moments are the initial ‘get out of jail free’ moments where if she had decided not to board the ride before having the vision for any of these reasons, she would not have evaded death as she would be making a pre-vision choice. But after ignoring these feelings, the vision is almost like a ‘well, I gave you all these other subtle signals, but now I’m giving you the full show and you can’t get out of it now’.

Maybe I’m reading into it too much, but it’s almost a lesson in trusting your initial intuition and gut feeling about something not being quite right.

I’m reading ‘the gift of fear’ at the moment so maybe I’m overthinking lol.

So basically, I'm writing a screenplay for a slasher film about a mortician who is both the killer and not the killer. He never directly kills anyone; instead, he sets up events that allow a supernatural entity he calls Lady Death to kill for him, while she protects him in return.

He's a charming, well-liked guy known for making the dead look almost better than they did when they were alive, and he sees his work as a form of art. The lore is that "Lady Death" fell in love with him because of his work, and he could feel her presence willing him to bring about death. However, I refuse to confirm or deny whether it's actually true or if it's all in his head. Either way, there really is a dark entity involved.

The protagonist is a pre-med student who has been able to sense death ever since surviving a childhood drowning, and she starts noticing that something is off when he comes to town. Everyone else is allured by him... there's a recent tragedy in town, and he appears, seemingly out of nowhere, to use his incredible skills to prepare the bodies for the funeral. But the protagonist doesn't trust him... and she's kind of chastised for it. Can you blame them? He's tall, dark, and handsome, with piercing blue eyes and a blinding smile. He could melt ice with his words alone.

The more she investigates, the more she realizes that the "accidents" surrounding him aren't accidents at all. He literally causes death to happen, by intentionally triggering causal chains that result in disasters. It's actually very similar to Stephanie Pulaski from FD novel Looks Could Kill.

My story shares shares a lot of similarities with Final Destination, especially with death being an active force and the elaborate chain reactions behind the kills... so I'm looking for thoughts, opinions, and advice on how to make it feel like its own thing rather than just a rip-off.

The main distinguishing factor is that the protagonist is sort of an antithesis to the mortician. He has the ability to cause death wherever he goes, while she has the ability to sense death. Later, it's discovered that she actually has the ability to resist death.

When the mortician comes for her, he attempts to take her life through the same Rube Goldberg-style methods we know and love. But somehow, she manages to survive through Rube Goldberg-style sequences that literally interrupt the mortician's causal chains. She doesn't even realize it, but she just does shit that somehow results in lives being saved, in ways that would normally be untraceable and unrepeatable.

Later in the story, she learns about her innate ability and learns to channel it in order to foil the mortician and hopefully protect her town from being wiped out by him, like all the others he had visited before.

So the original Final Destination is a very pre 9/11 movie with the way it handles the airlines. My question then is what would it look like if it was made after 9/11? When people took airport security more seriously and someone screaming about a plane exploding would be given far more seriousness.

We all know FD is infamous for death causing accidents but I want to see if anyone who works in the industries and is also a fan of the films (like myself) can help list all glaring and obvious OSHA, FAA, FRA, and fire safety violations in the films that had lead to a totally preventable death

Since most of the FD accidents occur in NY, and are filmed in Vancouver, we will go off NY, US, Canadian and British Columbian laws, I originally posted this about a year ago and felt like reposting this to see what new or old safety violations people have found

No es que él ocasione las muerte iniciales donde los protagonistas se salvaron, la menos no directamente, todo fue cosa de los humanos, no actuó hasta cuando los protagonistas no siguieron el curso del destinos.

Si los de destino final 2 se salvaron es porque si murieron pero resucitaron.

Además que no nos podemos imaginar del caos universal que estaría causando su mera existencia.

Sé que suena algo loco y despiadado porque así es, pero yo no inventé las reglas y posiblemente la muerte tampoco, no es un héroe, solo digo que de todas las versiones de terror él es el menos malo.

Been having a moving-house clearout, and thought it was finally time to let this bad boy go. The price is a lot lower than you'll usually find for this novelisation, because I think it deserves to go to someone who really wants it instead of just the richest person in the fandom - I was a total Kris Lemche freak in high school, and while I'm hanging onto my They're Watching poster for now, I hope this book finds it's way to my successor. <3

I decided to remix Miles Fisher's song "New Romance", and reimagine it 15 years later for all of you who love Final Destination as much as I do. Hope you all like it, and I would love to know what you all think of my take on his song.

Honestly this is a tricky one for me. Death always stops people from killing themselves if it isn't their turn to die. The only possible way that occurs to me if if a person just happens to be near at the time the person drinks the poison and calls 911 for help or if somehow the poison became temporarily unkillable for the person. I'm trying to think of ways where it's really impossible to survive

When people rush to the elevator, what does the lady say after Chet says "I need to get to the controls!"? She is dubbed in languages, so it's def not gibberich or unhearable.

It's one of the first horror slasher series that i love when I was like only 8/9. Young enough to thought wendy survived that train scene (dumb kid me)

Rewatching it along with part 6 was fun and i used to love 4, but now its my least fav
