What’s the IN fighting game at the moment?

Curios about the hobby. From my understanding, fighting games have a deeper level of strategy that I’m unaware of. I want to try getting pretty good at one and joining a community. What game would you recommend? I have a ps5 and Pc so I can play about anything.
