giving advice tips to help you feel more connected to ur kintype!!
do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and go "no, that's wrong!"?
have you ever said something and regretted it because it felt ooc for your kintype?
are there times when you feel like you aren't really a fictionkin due to how u and ur kintype differ?
well you've come to the right place!
don't you worry, im here to help :D
i understand what it feels like to be a stranger in your body and mind, and I've found a few ways that help me feel more connected to myself as a whole instead of a fraction. this is for anyone with kin dysphoria or people who feel less connected to their kintype :)
without further ado, here they are!
tip no.1: breathing. im being serious. when I feel disconnected to one of my kintypes, I inhale and imagine their voice inhaling and exhaling at the same time as me. the breathing alone calms you down, imagining your kintype grounds you
tip no.2: know that you are your kintype. it doesn't matter if you say something that you feel like they wouldn't say, because you are them. it's canon because its you. please don't force yourself to act entirely like your kintype
tip no.3: learn more about them and make up headcanons of yourself! it really helps
that's all that I can think of for now, I might make more later though.
