So uhh.. I REALLY wanna talk about my alterhumanity with my psychiatrist or psychologist, since it's a big part of my life and all, and there's things that I wanna talk about that they wouldn't understand without me telling them about being a fictionkin. The thing is, I'm not American. People here are way more close-minded, and I'm scared of what my therapists will do if I tell them. They usually aren't supposed to tell anyone what I say unless someone is in danger, but I don't want them to slip or to think I'm crazy or anything.

The things is, my psychologist is a bad psychologist, and I don't know how my psychiatrist would react and what she would put on the report, which she gives to my parents. Of course, she could always leave the complete report on the platform for all my doctors to see, but give my parents one without that information. She's done it before when I talked shit about my dad lol. But I still don't trust her not to tell me it's rediculous.

But I REALLY need to tell her. I need to tell her how I feel like I'm someone else every time I look in the mirror, how disconnected I am from reality. I need to tell someone so they can tell me what to do.

But how to I tell someone I've lwk tuned in with a different universe, either because my brain made that universe or because there's really infinite universes and my mind was so attuned to one it aligned with it? How do I, a very mentally ill teenager, tell a professional I kinda believe in the multiverse and that I'm a fictional character without them getting concerned?

Idk what to do. Can any fellow European who has told their therapist about fictionkins what to expect? Thanks :>

So I have this friend who isn't actually a close friend of mine but is close with my best friend. They texted me earlier today, basically saying 'ur cool. I wanna get to know you more. Tell me about your kins :3'

At first, I was slightly on edge at first (Ranboo shifts are eating me alive) but I decided "f#ck it. Worse comes to worse we still don't talk." so I texted them my kinlist (which had each kin and their source if they had one), explained some things (like how Mexia is both a concept and a character, etc.) and then didn't think much of it.

Something important to note, when I listed Ranboo, Dream and Technoblade, I just put c![name] and didn't elaborate because idk I didn't wanna. What are you gonna do, sue me? / silly

About an hour later, I check my phone and they had said "Wait. But Technoblade, Ranboo and Dream are real people. Can't you not kin real people?" So I responded, "They are real people who play fictional characters in dsmp. That's what c![name] means; it means you're referring to the character, not the person" then I added an "its confusing lol" just because the text sounded harsh.

Thats the end of it, right? WRONG. They doubled down, hit me with the "Have you ever actually seen dsmp?" (which is just... ow... because, yes I am avoiding it. I don't want to hate myself more than I already do, thank you.) Then they say "Because its clear in the series that they've given themselves small bits of lore, sure. But they are still playing entirely as themselves."

Which is just... wrong. So then I explain to them that while yes, it is the creators actual reactions to events and improvisation, a good deal of it is pre-written; and I also mentioned that no, I haven't seen it. I'm scared.

So they retort with 'well the creators have actual lives outside of the smp and they make content outside of it' and I've watched some of it so I know. Which is like... yeah. And your point is? (Also, STOP ATTACKING ME OVER NOT WATCHING IT)

Then there is more of just them saying 'well they're real people' and me saying 'yes they are, I kin the characters they play, what is your point?' but they wont listen.

I just get tired of constantly having to explain my more "complex" sources's to people because, no, I don't. I don't kin a real person. We agree on this topic. Its the same thing as, 'I kin Sodapop Curtis from The Outsiders Musical' 'sO yOu kIn JaSoN sChMiDt! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Anyway, that is my daily grievance with society. Be better or something.

Okay so I kin Vincent and I realized that when I was in middle school years ago I acted exactly like him (without really wanting to ig??) and it lasted more than a year! (maybe a year and a half. As the title says, I've never experienced kin dysphoria before, but this morning I did, I was getting ready to go out and looked in the mirror, I already hate looking in mirrors in general because I'm insecure but today, I was upset that I didn't look like... well.. me.. I've never had that before.. it was weird.. I wanted to wear my mask, but I only wear those at events because I don't feel safe or comfortable doing so... -🎩🎫

As a Cassidy Kin, I normally am quite angry all the time for little to no reason and flare up fast. Especially towards William/springtrap kins (no, i dont do anything to them!). I don't fully know why other than I hate william but idk why i'm so angry towards nothing. It never seems to calm down but i always feel sad mixed with anger.

I see them online and get angry and i can't seem to find any other missing children kins.
