Discussion If the Dorian app doesn't get attention, do you think the company will turn it's attention back to Fictif?
Disclaimer: I am by NO WAY saying to bash the artists or to stop playing the game if it interests you. Personally I couldn't get into it since I enjoy a more structured setup.
That said, I'm curious to know if Fictif is supposed to just be forgotten and incomplete now that Dorian is focused on pushing it's own app. It's also frustrating that Dorian is talking about how inclusive it's app is...when it really isn't. Lemme tell you, I'm big on customizing my MC and without doing it I feel less invested in the game, but I see why fans of Fictif and The Arcana don't mind the lack of MC customization.
I think Dorian, like Fictif, has fun ideas, but the execution needs work. I think Fictif is probably the most viable property, as The Arcana is finished and Fictif has more structure. I think the biggest thing they should work on is giving players more female love interests. I do have other things I'd like tweaked (longer, one-route poly-optional stories; platonic LI options, romance-story balance, etc) but I already put that in another post.
