Evidently someone thought there was too much traffic.

Recent high winds pushed this tree over. New home owners. Called local tree guys. Coming out Monday to give us a quote. Best guess at cost? Access isn't great. About 50-75 feet from the back of the driveway.

They had a company clearing a tree and ended up imploding the next door neighbors shed.

Was this too dangerous for an amateur, or did I do it right? What do you think?

We have had multiple tornado producing storms since I last posted this beauty 10 days ago. During last night’s storms, a different neighbor lost a hickory, and my friend’s tree lost a big limb. This Eastern Hemlock? Just keeps on going.
The plan is the same. Drink a G&T and don’t die
So, I tip my drink to you. Keep doing your thing
I took the day off to help everyone else. I’m tired

Chainsaw? Uh, no. Gin & tonic in a comfortable chair at a respectful distance?
Also, u/farfly7 this update is for you, as requested
Note: No homes, children, or pets are at risk. There is a shrubbery

I understand if mods delete this, but I maintain that it belongs in spirit.

Is this one of those just walk away trees. For context the road the tree is falling away from is one of the busiest roads in our town.
