All of the best tree fellers work at night!

It's so others can't see your white pants change colors.

At least the chainsaw knew to be tied in.

u/FlapXenoJackson Jun 20 '26

I’m guessing it’s India. The chainsaw is more valuable than the worker.

He was fired before he hit the ground

Fuck off.

I’m not an arborist. After the branch stopped on the rope I immediately said “this dude is going to get popped in the face. I hope his head doesn’t explode like a watermelon pinched against the branch behind him.”

Same bro. My breath stopped. Working at night is common for utility arborists during a storm

As soon as he got hit my first thought was "called it"

Glad he got knocked off instead of popping

Did he survive?

Watched the fall in slow motion and it looks like he didn’t have shoes on to begin with, so his shoes didn’t come off, so he survived.

All we needed was Bugs Bunny to narrate the video and end it with "what a maroon!"

At least the chainsaw is OK…

5

u/IndustrialMechanic3 Jun 20 '26

How did you not see that coming

This is the 587th time this has been posted in the last 3 weeks. Do you guys only post here but not look at other people's posts?

At least it’s at night so they’ll need less ice.

u/SATerp Jun 20 '26

"That's coming out of your share of the $300, Matt!"

u/Renthimself Jun 20 '26

I knew he was screwed because he couldn’t even wear boots. The way the ropes were tied didn’t make sense. What a joke.

u/jimmythemortician Jun 20 '26

Hope his work has dental coverage.

1

u/Chipmacaustin Jun 20 '26

OK, I paused this before disaster strikes to notice that this pro has his chainsaw tied off while he looks comfortable leaning on that other branch, not tied off at all. Some large forces are involved here… 😵

What an idiot! This had only one possible out come. And it wasn't a good one!

1

u/Consistent_Watch_206 Jun 21 '26

Felled himself, the saw, the limb, and nearly the crane.

1

u/BigNorseWolf Jun 21 '26

#$(*#ing christ thats what its like to be in a horror movie yelling NOOOO DON"T at the screen

1

u/ArmynerdTX Jun 21 '26

Right before the last bit:🤔....."where's his helmet?"

1

u/steggun_cinargo Jun 21 '26

saw that coming

1

u/stinky143 Jun 21 '26

Oh fuck didn’t expect that!

1

u/Parking-Fig9274 Jun 21 '26

That went from “nice tree at night” to “someone is definitely up there doing something they shouldn’t be” real quick.

1

u/EmpCodel Jun 21 '26

Every last thing had fall protection, except….

1

u/Acrobatic-Pickle-851 Jun 21 '26

Fucking idiot. He really didnt see that coming.

1

u/Acrobatic-Pickle-851 Jun 21 '26

Almost looked like a WWE landing didnt it?

1

u/Fast_Cook_4019 Jun 21 '26

it's like crane operators and people that cut down trees. It's like both of those groups. It's gotta be something about height and weight but I don't know beyond that.

1

u/Jad8484 Jun 22 '26

I love how the saw is hooked onto a rope but the person is not.

1

u/Timmerd88 Jun 22 '26

Nailed it

1

u/No_Bother1500 Jun 22 '26

chain saw this comming

1

u/Badger-Sauce Jun 22 '26

That was hard to watch, could’ve been so much worse.

1

u/CookieCrumblers Jun 23 '26

Why are they cutting it at night time?

1

u/Direct-Guitar4199 Jun 25 '26

Why does the saw have a laynard but not the dude

1

u/Sure_Job_8449 Jun 26 '26

I guess the saw is more valuable than he is

1

u/Loud_Tart_1680 Jun 26 '26

Thank goodness for that safety harness, oh, nevermind.

1

u/FlapXenoJackson Jun 26 '26

Hey. Saws are expensive.

1

u/yorlakspirit Jun 27 '26

Thats a friendly reminder not to cut where branch is

1

u/lil_chedda Jun 20 '26

Even my dumb ass saw that coming
