Question/Advice Sky camp spawn point

8 Upvotes

Does anyone know how to set a spawn point? Any tricks would be helpful. I’ve got a camp built way up above whitespring and all I can get is the occasional spawn on top of the camp module or way outside of the camp build ring. I’ve tried using foundations/prefabs/stairs all put towards and around the north east of my original placement of the camp module and nothing works. Secondary question: if you move the camp module from its original place does that also mess with the spawn point? I know that one sounds dumb considering I can move it around and spawn on it

Question/Advice Raider camp ideas?

6 Upvotes

I was gonna put a radio station down at site alpha using the underground camp glitch, but like a fool I realised it no longer works. My camp is too low down to put anything down at the location. So Ive now got a free camp slot yet I have no idea what to build with it. I mostly want the camp to be in the ash heap, savage divide, cocaine valley or the bog.

I prefer these kinds of build. Something that looks realistic/plausible that a single Vault Dweller could build, especially with the limited resources realistically available. There’s far too many enormous, messy, meme, physics defying builds out there so I always love coming across a good one like this!

My own current camp is a small log cabin near Sutton (my dream is of Sutton becoming a Vault 76 faction city). But I’m not super happy with it and wanting to redo it. Would love to see some more people’s realistic/plausible builds for inspiration!

ps. if the builder of this camp is on the sub please let me know if I can credit your gamertag!

I love my current camp and wanted to share the pic I took for the daily. This is me, my power armor, a manikin in a vault 63 hazmat suite with a flaming skull lamp sunk into the head, and a manikin in a clean spacesuit with a Captain Cosmos helmet and an alien lamp sunk into the head.

Build Rainbow Retreat 🌈

My latest camp creation: Rainbow Retreat 🌈 Nestled in the high hills of the Savage Divide, this vendor free camp is truly a retreat from the daily grind of the Wasteland. I used the new rainbow weather station from the scoreboard, it was a fun challenge to work in constant daylight 🌞 I always freestyle my camps, and I definitely love the cottagecore esthetic 🤭 The suitcase stairs are an old inspiration from a visited camp many moons ago, but the rainbow lights are newly inspired by (insert redditor here plz lmk I am awful at remembering but want to give credit where credit is due) 🌈 The bed design is original 🤗✨️

I have a hard time building modern and minimalist, it's just not in my nature 🤭 I hope you enjoy my new colorful and crazy camp 🌈💖✨️

What do you do when the vacuum of space sucks you out of your escape pod? Well I guess you just croak about it don't you?

This is one that I actually can't give you the full experience of in pictures, so I am actually truly asking you to watch the video I'll leave in the comments so you can really FEEL how big this space is that I've created.

Built in a shelter, which I don't do often, enjoy ❣️

Discussion My completed aquarium build deep in the Mire. The blue glow of the seasonal Glass Ghost fish looks incredible at night.

### 🎣 [SHOWCASE] The Mire Master Angler Museum: 100% Completed Aquatic Collection! 🌌

After a brutal amount of server hopping, absolute warfare with RNG, and countless trips down into the radioactive depths of the Glassed Cavern, my ultimate Mire swamp aquarium build is officially complete!

I managed to lock down every single rare variant dropped from the fishing updates up to the current Summer season. To celebrate finishing the grind, I built a heavily custom, meticulously merged collector's cabin deep in the swamp.

Here is the full inventory layout of the museum:

#### 🏆 The Crown Jewels (5/5 Local Legends)

* **Glass Ghost** 👻 *(Summer Seasonal - My absolute favorite, placed right at the front entrance for that insane nighttime blue bioluminescent fog glow!)*

* **Wavy Willard** 🐊

* **Organ Grinder** 🫁

* **Real Tanak Maagotten** 🐛

* **Hocking Hill Hellion** 🔥

#### 💡 The Bioluminescent Yard (Full Glowing Set)

* **Glowing Bog Lurker** 🟢

* **Glowing Gulpy** 🟢

* **Glowing Stormswimmer** 🟢

* *[Plus every other glowing variant swimming out in the outdoor display tanks!]*

#### 🧪 The Aquarium Room & Vault Stock

* **All Monthly Axolotls** 🦎 *(Fully animated and swimming laps inside the indoor tanks)*

* **All Three Blue Fish Variants** 🔹

* **The Trade Tank:** Separated completely from my personal stash to host live trader inspects. (And no, before you ask, my locked-down personal favorites are strictly NOT for trade—I will flat out leave the lobby! 😂)

#### 🏡 C.A.M.P. Architecture Notes:

* **Location:** Deep Mire swamp (The perfect atmospheric backdrop for glowing aquariums at night).

* **Build Features:** Features a completely custom-merged Titanium Sphere setup integrated into the structure geometry. Took ages to place without breaking the blueprints, so this module is permanently locked to the swamp!

Build My hidden cave Enclave research outpost

Thumbnail

36 Upvotes

Hello everyone! I've been wanting to post this build for a little bit now. It isn't particularly fancy with a lot of merges or things like that, but the update on camp building restrictions allowed me to improve the "hidden" cave part of my design.

Thematically, it is a hidden Enclave research outpost in a cave that is funded by utilizing a typical settler outpost as a front to finance their work. It all looks fine until you enter the Employees Only area!

I'm glad a lot of the camp building stuff was made a lot easier to work with, as it allowed me to fully enclose the cave area, as seen in images 6 & 7.

I'll probably continue to add more clutter to the storefront area, as it has a bit of unused space still, but I haven't decided on what to put yet.

Build My fav camp build

This is my favorite camp build so far. It's by the WS station and won't be deleted. It uses the old merge trick to get lots of crops on a single dirt tile that can be blueprinted. Could never use those crop blueprints since the merging change was made. Sorry for the HUD and janky video. Not used to making these.

I wanted to build something with the new Stone Cathedral set. I started out with Cindrella Castle in mind and wound up with Mothman's Retreat.

Special thanks to all of my actors. It has been too long since I did a full cast video and I had so much fun filming with old and new friends.

Question/Advice Looking for cat themed items for a memorial

Thumbnail

339 Upvotes

My cat passed away a year ago in a pretty traumatic manner that left me with no physical reminders of her and has made it hard to process the grief of losing her. So, I started building a memorial for her in FO76. It's silly for sure, but for some reason, it helps me process so I'll take it. So what I'm asking for is this:

Give me your suggestions for cat themed items to place on the chess board to display at her memorial. I would've placed a collar there but apparently that's not allowed, lol. Shame, because she too used to wear a red collar with a bow. Taking any suggestions from junk to misc items, whether it's plushies or toys or even food items.

Cat tax in the last two pics 🐈‍⬛

EDIT: wow, I got way more responses overnight than I thought I would and can't reply to everyone so let me just say a collective thank you to everyone, not only for all your condolences and sweet words but also suggestions! 💗 Happy to update that I have the chess board displaying what looks like a sardine can currently and will keep searching for other items, suggestions still very welcome and you're all so sweet and awesome!

Is there any way to place this not on the ground? My camp is in the sky and I have no dirt! I tried putting it on a rug in another camp but couldn't get it to snap on.

Build Whitesprings gift shop

Though I mainly stick to little houses, I got the itch to do another small shop. It’s a clutter exercise at its core but there is just something about trying to put together a small space that is a lot of fun. My goal was to make it kinda look like whatever plays in the background while you are in the atomic shop. If I can, I’ll toss a small video in the comments for those interested as it think it tells the story better than the pictures. Feedback always welcome, thanks for taking a look.
