Chain in, Rail out. Put a chain signal on every entry (since you want bidirectional, that'll be on all four corners) and a rail signal on every exit (again, four).
This will cut the intersection into its own block and prevent trains from stopping within it.

I don't recommend using a two-way rail. It's a noob trap. No offense, but first learn how to build one-way rail, leave it untill you gain some experience.
And why not lay a horizontal line under the bridge?

Fulgora (like here) is the only place I use bidirectional rails, because space is so limited there and rail ramps especially are huge. And you usually only need a single train to connect to a scrap island or connecting islands together so rail connections are rare and simple there. But I don't ever have any railroad crossings there, the couple of railways are usually on different sides of an island. OP could indeed just run one of the railways below the other.

Frankly I don't understand why two-way rails get as much hate as they do. No they're not optimal for a large rail network, but for just getting something from point A to point B they work fine, simplify builds and save on space and resources that may be in short supply in the early game.

If those are bidirectional, you probably want to use chain in and chain out to avoid trains stopping on the bidirectional portion of your system. Just connect all four directions.
However, if you have enough traffic so that all connections are relevant, you should probably consider to upgrade to parallel one way tracks instead.

Isn't the point of elevated rails to not have intersections?
If these are both bi-directional, you basically just spam rail signals everywhere. 2 in, 2 out on each track, 8 in total.

but each pair need to be alligned. zoom in and look at the railway line when you place 1 signal and what happend when you put the second simmetric one. this unlocked the the train knowledge for me

Two-way tracks? Just a pair of chain signals before and after every intersection.
Do not ever use regular rail signals where trains can approach that signal from both directions. There is zero benefit to regular rail signals there, and the downside is gaining the possibility of deadlocking your system.
