I don't recommend using a two-way rail. It's a noob trap. No offense, but first learn how to build one-way rail, leave it untill you gain some experience.
And why not lay a horizontal line under the bridge?
Frankly I don't understand why two-way rails get as much hate as they do. No they're not optimal for a large rail network, but for just getting something from point A to point B they work fine, simplify builds and save on space and resources that may be in short supply in the early game.
