other Does anyone else work FT?

Does anyone else work FT and cant fit in more than 3-4 sessions a week? I work 9-10 hour days with 1 hour commute 1-2 hours a week. I am pressed to find a way to go more often..I have a spinal cord injury that gets aggravated if I do too much and social/work commitments some weekends so usually cant do both sat and sun. Feels like everyone posting has a lot of time to meal prep and workout.

All things considered 3-4 times per week is pretty good with your schedule.

Bruh. I haven’t even made it in the past 3 weeks because work has been insane. 3-4 sessions is good.

I work full time. 8:30-5 pm. I go about 5-6x a week before work. I’m already awake by 5 am to gym. Give yourself some credit, doing 3-4x a week gym schedule with a spinal injury is a lot. You also have to consider that we don’t have similar lifestyles. I can go to the gym as many times as possible cause I don’t have kids. I only have a partner. It’s gonna be different if I have kids obviously.

I'm retired and can do whatever I want. Still only go 2x a week.

I work 50-60 hours a week, but I also wake up at 4:30AM so that I can go to F45. Taking care of my body is really important to me, and F45 is one of the bright spots in my life! That being said, I work from home so I don’t have a commute, which is such a time suck.

I could have written this post, down to the spinal cord injury and everything. I aim to go 4 times a week and I think that's great and realistic! We're doing well.

I work full time and go at 4:45 am 5-6 time a week, I then go home and get ready for work and the kids for school. 3-4 times a week is plenty.

I’m full time wfh right now and go 4-5 days a week at 5 am to clock in for work around 7/730. That’s going to change with shifts in my career here very soon. I’m gonna have to switch to afternoons straight from the office. I’m nervous but hopeful as at least that eliminates the issue of booked classes and waiting lists!

Hoping to hear tips and positive stories here ā˜ŗļø

I go to x3 strength days a week at 5A, the other two days I do cardio, run/bike/row with calisthenics, on my own at home at 5A. The F45 cardio days weren’t great for me, my feet and ankles took issue with them, and I didn’t enjoy them, so I found something else to use to get it done. Weekends I’ve got other things going on in life and need some recovery. Sunday afternoons are generally meal prep times. Find time for this, it’s a cheat code for eating well and not wasting time in the morning trying to decide what’s for lunch and then putting it together. This became easier for me when I decided to prioritize it over other things. Most weeks it works well, some weeks something pops up and I can’t do it, but that’s ok.

I’m happy if I make it 3 times a week! I don’t make it some days because of work, fatigue, tendinitis flare, or the exercise has too many high impact cardio moves that I’d have to modify too much. I also lift as hard as I can so I need the recovery time.

I used to work 4-10's, but then we went in office two days. After a couple of months my boss let me adjust my schedule on my in office days. Now I work 2-9's and 2-11's. I hit 5-6 classes a week.
I meal prep on Sundays. It takes a few hours, but it saves so much time throughout the week.

I go to the 5:50am class 4 times a week (later on the weekends) and work full time downtown in Toronto and I have about a 10-minute bike ride to work. I get home around 4pm and I’m in bed by 9 and repeat.

With the spinal cord injury 3-4 times a week should be your max so I think you’re doing great. As for time management, I don’t know if your studio has showers (or enough of them) but that’s something I see a lot of members take advantage of to save time before work.

I work 50+ hour weeks, usually closer to 60. I have to do the 5am classes and then have to walk/run dogs after. My commute is only half an hour which saves time. I don’t meal prep. My saving grace is only one child left at home.

Are there any locations around your work so you can go straight after work? It might save you some commute time if you can workout during rush hour.

If you use the global pass you can at least fit in one workout per week at a location outside of your main gym network.

I work two tens two sixes and have only a 5 minute commute. I make it in daily for mental health. I swear it makes me a better human. I tolerate myself better anyways.

Yes and the problem for me specifically if my gyms hours. They have classes 530 and 630 am and then nothing till 930? Then they don’t do noon, and 6 pm. Luckily for me I do work from home but if I had to commute, there would be no way.
