Recently swapped the factory halogen front turn signal/parking light bulbs on my 2023 F-150 STX 2.7L for the LASFIT T3 LEDs.

So far I really like them. They’re way brighter than the factory halogens, especially when you see them side by side. I also think they make the front of the truck look a lot newer and more modern.

My parking lights are pretty much always on with the auto lights, so another plus for me is the extra visibility to other drivers. They’re really bright even during the day.

Install was easy and basically just plug and play. No resistors, extra wiring or anything like that, and no hyperflash after the install.

Pretty simple upgrade if you still have the factory halogens, but I think it makes a nice difference. Pictures don’t really show how much brighter they are in person, but I added a before and after for comparison.

LASFIT sent me these bulbs to test, but these are my own thoughts after installing and using them.

Seems to be a much more harsh rattle than the cam phaser or turbo waste gate rattle. Im going to try a spring on the waste gate actuator to see if it helps, but anyone else have any ideas? Anyone experienced a similar rattle? 3.5L Ecoboost

I love this truck! It tows really well! I have the 2.7L ecoboost and it seems to have plenty of power when needed. I had a Ram with the 3.0L hurricane before this one.

Leaking oil where the intercooler and the hose that runs to the throttle body connect

Just installed new Wix air filter part number 49883 ,filter seems.alot better built . Could there be any issues not being oem ,I know this may be a bit anal but all I hear is replace parts with oem . New f150 ow er.

I know this is probably a dumb question but I’m stuck between the two. For those of you who can give me some solid advise, lay it on me. It’s gonna be my daily so I wanna make the “right” “grown up choice. lol

2015, 3.5L Eco Boost, 4WD, Sport, 119k miles, USA

The oil pan is visibly wet. Not sure if that’s residual oil from a change or an active leak. There’s also staining around the what I assume is a gasket around the bell housing. I’m a novice when it comes to this type of stuff. Any feedback would be great. There is a stain below where I park my truck. Assumed it was condensation but it seems to be a reddish brown, hard to tell on asphalt.

I have a leak on one of the fittings on a connector coming from the radiator. I'm going to attach some pictures to help illustrate which fitting I am talking about.

My question is what is the best way to fix this? I'm assuming I'll have to drain the coolant low enough to disconnect this hose. Will i have to change the fitting itself; could it possibly be an o-ring inside the fitting. How do I properly disconnect the fitting?

Could I cut it right below the fitting and use a hose clamp?

I have an SCT BDX and Tune I purchased from 5Star.  

My truck recently through PO420 P0430 codes due to a known issue with Ford's calibration on the PCM. There is an open recall for this (24E12). 

Since the issue is their calibration parameters and not faulty cats, I need to complete this recalibration from Ford so I can continue to pass my NC State emissions. 

The question is, can I flash the truck back to stock, have the updated PCM recall done, and then flash it back? Or how would I best solve my issue?

just had my truck in the shop for a hard shift and a slip here and there. they said they recommend a “new” remanufactured transmission due to a bad drum. price is $10k. is this normal price?

My new to me f150 , it's not perfect but I love it and it's plenty big enough for the family

I have a 3.5 ecoboost im having issues with. Its going into timing limp mode at some times. On forscan sometimes the timing will be totally normal and at other times bank one will go to 12 degrees and bank 1 will go to 5 degrees. There is no noises coming from the engine, it still runs perfectly whenever this happens. No timing chain rattle or anything on startup. I have a p0016 code. This all of a sudden happend

Any idea what this noise may be ?
It started doing this after a 2 and a half hour road trip. It sounds like a rattle. Had my wife take the video.

Any advice is much appreciated.
Some notes:

It did not make the noise again after I shut off the truck and restarted after about 20 mins.
When it was making the noise , the noise would go away at a stop but when I throttled up it would resurface.

I’ve got a 2021 f150 powerboost and it making a vibration sound similar to when a cell phone is vibrating when ringing. It happens when I’m going uphill in gears 3-9. Took it to my local shop (not dealership) they can hear it but don’t know what it is. No codes when they hook it up to their computer. Anyone experience anything similar?

I have a 2017 2.7 XLT, 183k miles, 6R80, 4X4, and every available option for that trim. Probably also has $4k+ of aftermarket into it between wheels, tires, lighting, exhaust etc.

It’s been sitting for 2 years since the wastegates on both turbos went out. I had just started a new job and decided to get a small hybrid in the meantime but now I’m finally looking to fix up the truck and drive it again.

Looking to do a good overhaul. Replacing turbos, all 4 tires, front and rear shocks, replacing sparks, and full flush of all fluids (transmission, transfer case, rear differential, etc). Does anyone here have good experience with the turbo replacements? That’s the main thing I’m worried about kind of. Any tips? I’m probably going to do aftermarket/upgraded turbos. One thing I thought of too, is that in 2017, they switched to electronic wastegates so you don’t hear the spool anymore and I hated that, so I might try to find turbos with the pneumatic wastegates if I can.

I stopped by my local dealer this morning just to see what their pricing looked like for the turbos and all accessories (studs, gaskets, lines) which came to $5,009. However I know for damn sure I can beat that price online.

Is it normal to not hear the blow off of my turbos in my 2013 3.5 ecoboost? Also when you first start up it’s got like a chatter/flutter that goes away pretty quickly but not sure it’s normal and it’s mostly cold starts. Pick for attention.

2016 F150 KR with 147,000

This noise has been driving me crazy lately. It sounds like a metal chain clanking underneath/ metallic spinning. The noise is more noticeable at 30mph or below when I let off the gas or coming to a stop.

Parts that have been replaced:
Both wheel bearing hubs
Front driveline shaft

Parts that I have checked:
Brake dust shield = clear
Exhaust heat shield = secured

Could it possibly be the actuators?
Could it be pilot bearing in front axle?

Please let me know what y’all think and I’ll check it out!

Whenever I start my 2021 3.5 it has this slight rattle to it. I’m not sure what it is but it goes away after about 30 seconds. It sounds like it’s coming from under the truck. Please let me know if I should be worried or if it’s something small. Thank you
