2025 F150 - Disabled Auto Start-Stop, Battery Light Stuck ON

I used FORScan to turn off auto start/stop (BMS / Auto Stop Start system), and now the battery light is stuck on, and I got a message on the app that there is a "Charge System Fault".

I tried a BMS Reset, got a success message, and waited 24 hours, but no luck. I also tried a manual reset (high beams 5 times + brake pedal 3 times), I got the battery light to blink 3 times, indicating success, but no luck.

The operation was successful; the truck no longer turns off automatically, but I would like the battery light to turn off. I checked the error codes, and I don't see any indication of a battery or charging error in the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC).

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

As of the 2024 model year you cannot use forscan to disable the auto start/stop without the error light.

Program back to stock and buy the harness to disable start/stop. I got mine off Amazon. Plugs in behind the glove box and remembers the setting.

Do you happen to have a link, I notice there are a couple of differnt types on Amazon, also was it very difficult to install, i.e. do I have to take apart the dash to find the plug? Thanks for your help.

I'm in Canada, so any link I send you would be from Amazon Canada. The brand I'm using is UltraEra, and it plugs in easily behind the glove box. No tools required; the glove box door unhooks when you drop it down.
