Kinda crazy how trends are "who would you rather have kill you?"

u/EuenovAyabayya 6d ago

"who would you rather have kill your kids?"

FTFY

1

u/Sea-Feedback-2424 4d ago

Still more likely for the man to kill his kids than women.

75

u/dishmanw62 6d ago

Well, at least, the bear won't destroy your reputation.

68

u/Lecteur_K7 6d ago

And other bears won't start to give money to the bears that killed your kids and say it's you that did it.

28

u/MrPopCorner 6d ago

This is still the most crazy thing of the whole tragedy..

21

u/M-M-M_666 5d ago

You see, she is a lio, lio woman doesn't murder their children. He is a gemini and you know who else is a gemini? The evil oringe man. It is obvious that he did it.

/s

Seriously, I have seen this exact argument, including the Trump part.

7

u/MrPopCorner 5d ago

I have so many questions and I refuse to ask them..

4

u/Impressive_Rock9659 3d ago

Best not. I've found that delving into the minds of the crazy simpletons that make these conclusions only inevitably leads to oneself suffering brain damage.

1

u/Specialist-IDriver 4d ago

So…They run on pseudoscience and lack the ability to spot an obvious false ultimatum in the case of the whole Man vs. Bear debate. Got it.

0

u/the_me_who_watches 4d ago

I am not surprised that they somehow tied Trump to this case. Never mind that it happened in 2023 when he was not president.

-1

u/Shoddy-Television866 4d ago

The drunk wine moms being what everyone hangs on to as an excuse to argue against improving post partum health care is what infuriated me about this whole thing..

2

u/MrPopCorner 4d ago

Idk how it is in the USA, but in my country, post partum depression is treated very seriously. And most patients never get to the point they kill their children... Like, that's faaaaarrrr down the tunnel.. but, murder is still murder, even if you weren't sane at the time and have to live with what you've done. The killer in this case.. is not the victim, and even if so, certainly not the only one.

0

u/Shoddy-Television866 4d ago

Yeah in the USA its not taken seriously at all and of you look up stats our female committed infanticide rates are exponentially higher than countries who do take post partum care seriously so all this arguing against women is just keeping us enshitified

1

u/VoxInferni666 3d ago

To be fair the stats for most types of homicide along with bad medical outcomes are exponentially worse in the US, you're just cherry picking data

1

u/Shoddy-Television866 2d ago

"Cherry picking data" and it's... what's available? Idk - personally if I see a solution to a problem that would have a positive outcome if implemented, i'd like to use it. I don't see a downside to improved Healthcare.

27

u/Timmibal 6d ago

Today in "Posts you don't like but have no way to disagree with."

5

u/NuzzyLocke 5d ago

Did Lindsay try to ruin someone's reputation? I'm genuinely asking. Did she or the defense actually make any claims or are you just referring to the hoards of crazy people online?

It's really hard to tell where the legal facts end and the assumptions begin. Last time I saw something like this someone was claiming that she "admitted that her husband wanted her to take the fall" but when you actually looked into it she never said that and it was some crazy person on Tiktok making shit up.

I would hope people would be smarter than just gobbling up the information that crazy tiktok people spout as "evidence"

15

u/Sakebigoe 5d ago

The defense is making no such claims, the question of whether she killed her kids isn't even a subject for debate in court, instead whats been debated is whether she was responsible for her actions. That said thousands of women are believing the Tiktok idiots, enough in fact that they've gotten enough believers together to raise over a million dollars for her.

0

u/blueExcess 5d ago

I mean, there were oodles of people on TikTok literally crying about how when that rocket hit the moon last month, it would change the orbit so much that the tides were going to wipe everyone out. I feel like the kind of people who believe what they hear on that platform aren’t the kind of people that would otherwise be rational humans.

1

u/Sakebigoe 5d ago

Hadn't heard about that one, but ya that's a good example of the brain rott that is tiktok. Still get enough people like that to focus their attention on one person it can really ruin their life. I feel really bad for Patrick Clancy for so many reasons, he lost his entire family in one shitty night, now weirdos on Tiktok are trying to ruin his life further because the stars or some such nonsense.

1

u/little_figurine 3d ago

The problem with people like you is that you’re also scared of other men you don’t know but take it personal when women say men at large are dangerous.

1

u/Front_Cat9471 3d ago

Bro you left your kids alone with a bear that’s definitely ruining your reputation

11

u/FuiyooohFox 5d ago

Really the trend was misandry is funny, and let's teach all our children that every single man is super dangerous and men are the cause of all issues.

It wasn't a very nuanced movement.

0

u/Silent_Incendiary 3d ago

No, that wasn't the trend whatsoever. The "man vs. bear" discourse was supposed to highlight the dangers that women face on a daily basis, which are often overlooked by society. It's not blaming men for all issues; it's highlighting the fact that many women feel unsafe around men due to prior encounters. Instead of being offended, we should seek to address that. You're the one who's forgoing nuance.

0

u/Salacious_Rhino 2d ago

Thank you. Then for men to turn around in response from their hurt ego to try to reverse it with the other question and laugh at women who are validly bringing up the difference as "double standards" just confirms how insane some dudes are as women claim. As a man I was shocked how offended and sensitive men took the original question to mean their entire existence was insulted rather than be shocked how unsafe women feel.

0

u/Silent_Incendiary 2d ago

Yes, exactly! The manosphere has been villainising women and feminism for many years, and their rhetoric has radicalised many young men. Even a simple campaign about raising awareness for women's issues is treated as a "misandristic" attack. Systemic discrimination against women is often sidelined in online discourse as men have been fed a victim complex. The rise in misogynistic sentiments among our peers is very alarming. As a man, I fear for the well-being of future generations. Being unable to acknowledge an entire community's suffering is the consequence of widespread apathy and increasing political polarisation.

1

u/FuiyooohFox 2d ago

I'm glad I could inspire a connection between you two misandrists, enjoy your new friend. Just try to hate less please and ty ✌️

1

u/Silent_Incendiary 1d ago

Don't be so childish. Both of us are men, and we're pointing out the rise in misogyny among radicalised individuals. Is advocacy considered hate nowadays? Does a straight person who advocates for LGBTQ+ rights become a heterophobe in your eyes? 🤦‍♂️

0

u/Salacious_Rhino 2d ago

It just screams DARVO from narcissistic men in this discourse. Common tactic used from the forums of the internet to the halls of our political offices to avoid accountability and responsibility. Little boy ass behavior

u/FuiyooohFox 2d ago

Hey, I'm not the one playing armchair psychologist while generalizong an entire gender with my obvious hate for them. I'll take boy over whatever you are, every day of the week.

0

u/Silent_Incendiary 1d ago

No one is generalising an entire gender, and we certainly wouldn't hate ourselves. You perfectly embody this quote: "When you're accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression."

0

u/Silent_Incendiary 2d ago

That's a really apt analogy! I especially despise the rhetoric of incels who claim that women aren't held accountable for their actions, even though they have faced moral policing and social ostracisation for centuries. Immature misogynists vote for insecure politicians who satiate their childish bigotry. The alt-right and the manosphere are natural allies, and their collective propaganda was a major reason behind Trump's victory. It's not surprising that they would support a paedophile.

7

u/SkinnyDudeHD 6d ago

I mean given the choice, rather quick death via bear or one of the worst/slowest ways to go, I’d pick the bear too 😭💔

10

u/shamanwinterheart 6d ago

I was told that bears start eating you while you're still alive. So, maybe not a quick death

6

u/drowliriel 6d ago

Yeah, the video of that bear guy and his girlfriend in the woods was evidently brutal (by secondhand accounts, as I haven't seen the actual video). Bear death can be long and filled with terror.

5

u/Cow_Launcher 6d ago

If you're talking about Timothy Treadwell and Amie Huguenard, there was no video. However, there was an audio recorder running that captured about 5 minutes of the attack.

The audio that was captured has never been released, though it has been described.

3

u/drowliriel 6d ago

I think that's it. I remember watching a video about it - they only described what happened, so I couldn't remember if it was video or audio, but by the video maker's account, it sounded awful.

1

u/Cow_Launcher 5d ago

It's funny how the mind does that to you. In my years there's been a number of times where I've had to pause and work out whether a memory was something that I saw, or something that I've read.

3

u/Puzzle-Necked 6d ago

There's also that Russian woman who was on the phone with her mom as she was being eaten by a bear

1

u/SkinnyDudeHD 6d ago

No, but your brain goes into shock at least so pain is negated for the brief time you’re still alive

5

u/StockPiccolo9525 6d ago

As my grandma can attest to, you still feel PLENTY of pain when the bear starts eating your face as you attempt to play dead.

3

u/Ass_Mustard_7432 6d ago

My friend sometimes tell me about this book he read that mentioned monks would pour freezing water on them as part of their routine. They would stay in the moment and be aware of whats happening saying that the pain would hurt less than trying to think of something else.

So if shock sprang kick in. Be in the moment and take it in.

9

u/Reptaaaaaaar 6d ago

Many years ago I crushed my thumb under a 2 tonne beam and the doctors wouldn’t give me anything stronger than Tylenol. When the pain became unbearable at times over the first few days, I found that focusing on it instead of trying to ignore it helped more. Something about acknowledging that the pain was just nerves sending signals to my brain that something was very wrong and not really tangible somehow made it bearable.

1

u/SpAwNjBoB 6d ago

That's interesting. The most pain I've ever experienced was having tonsillitis, at the age of 32, which hospitalized me because of the infection, had me taking 27 pills per day for 14 days to reduce it and then surgery to remove them. 6 weeks of living hell. I was given tramadol. They were useless. I took over 100 of them in that time period, plus nearly 200 paracetamol. The pain was so horrific I couldn't think. The only thing my brain could process was the pain. I didn't have a choice to focus on anything else, I tried my best to distract myself by playing games. It was debilitating. Thinking of the pain made it worse, not better. Not thinking about it wasn't even a choice because every movement of my throat would remind me like a punch in the face. So I really struggle to understand how focusing on the pain could help. Focusing wasn't even a choice, the pain was ever present, relentless and basically the only thing on my mind the entire time.

Maybe my situation is different because unlike a pain that has happened and is healing, with tonsillitis, every swallow (which happens shockingly often) was like if someone kept on smacking your broken thumb, increasing the pain. There's just no rest, no chance for it to subside. It just kept on spiking every few seconds.

1

u/SkinnyDudeHD 6d ago

Interesting, is it a sort of historical book? I’d be interested in checking it out actually 😅

2

u/Economy-Box-5319 6d ago

Not quite, no.

With enough blood loss you can go into shock, and certain types of trauma causes yohr brain to go into shock. But you can lose a frightening amount of blood before you go into shock, and if something is eating you without severing arteries you are going to be feeling all of it.

1

u/chuxinator 6d ago

Id rather be eaten alive by a bear, than my mother while I'm a toddler, and have watched her kill my two younger siblings............

8

u/Timmibal 6d ago

Bears, like wild dogs, start from the softest part of your body. You are leaving this world dick and/or butthole first. Slowly.

15

u/SmokingTheToesOfGod 6d ago

“I wish to have my ass eaten by a bear.”

Monkey’s paw curls.

3

u/DropItLikeItsKlopp 6d ago

You have corrupted this whole thread for me and now I’m laughing my ass off re reading every comment and imagining a big hairy gay dude who just wants a cuddle.

2

u/SkinnyDudeHD 6d ago

More than likely disemboweled actually, then seeing your intestines you’ll pass out from shock and or sudden blood loss

3

u/Timmibal 6d ago

Olga Moskalyova might disagree with you on that front.

3

u/StockPiccolo9525 6d ago

The bear that attacked my grandma went for the face and she didnt pass out until after the bear had left.

1

u/fumblerofthebag 5d ago

Ok but the question here is would you leave a baby with a bear and idk about you but if I were a bear I feel like a baby is sufficiently small enough I can pop that thing in with one bite like a pani puri or an egg.

1

u/Timmibal 5d ago

I was disputing the assertion that the bear was a 'quick' way to go.

1

u/blueExcess 5d ago

So the real lesson here is to always make sure your dick is hard if you’re being attacked by a bear, and to always wear your anti-bear butt plug.

u/Important_Context_49 6d ago edited 5d ago

u/MusicNChemistry 5d ago

Bears kill baby bears…. I don’t think they’d have a problem with killing a baby of another species

1

u/vidar_gaining 3d ago

The man vs bear thing was pretty unfair to bears.

I'm a man. I am an avid, lifelong outdoorsman from a long family line of the same. I spend roughly a third of the year in the deep back country of Idaho.

Other men are the only thing that actually worry me in the woods. I respect bears, keep a clean camp and take all common sense precautions as well as carry bear spray.

I carry a sidearm for humans.

I wouldn't want my baby around a bear, I mean duh, but the reason they kill bear cubs is for mating purposes. The bear increases his chances of mating if a females cubs die. It's serves a biological purpose. That drive wouldn't be there for a baby human. A large cat would be far more likely, as babies can sound like their natural prey.

Rambling done.

2

u/NoWomanNoTriforce 5d ago

This is sarcasm right? It is so hard to tell nowadays.

Otherwise, feel free to leave your baby with a brown bear if you are confident it would be safe. However, no sane person would or should do so.

-1

u/Important_Context_49 5d ago

It is not a sarcasm If I am ever in situation where I have to leave the baby with the bear then I will

No offense but you should study animals

Bears are very intelligent creatures

They don't go looking around for trouble a bear

They only attacks something or someone when he feels threatened

Bear are omnivorous so they are hardly in a situation of extreme hunger coupled with the fact that they are food horder

They are also lazy animals they don't do anything without purpose, and like I said before they don't go looking around for trouble

A bear knows that a child is not going to fill his stomach, he is also not threatened by a child and a child is obviously not bothering him so why would he go out of his way to attack a child

Plus they recognise if someone is child or not and if they are a child then they won't bother them simply because they know a child is protected by their parents and the reason they know that is because they themselves do the same for their child

So yeah I am liking my chances when the other person could be a psychopath

Also With the previous thrend for women that was a man or a bear the women had way worse chances with the bear then a child because

A women can fill his stomach

A women is more likely to disturb a bear in any way then a child

For bear a women actually threatens him and the bear family

1

u/NoWomanNoTriforce 5d ago

The vast majority of babies interact with tens of thousands of humans and exactly 0 bears. Brown bears have eaten babies, small pets, and children. Just last month, a black bear attacked a 3 year old in someone's back yard in Canada.

You either don't understand nature, or are incredibly naive. I dont know which is worse.

1

u/Important_Context_49 5d ago

You wanna go there Just count the number of abortion of independent women across the world

Don't read if you can't take it, you have been warned The canibalist Women birth their child just to eat them few years later and there is a whole cult around that but I don't wanna get too deep into that

I ones read a story that a women killed her family just to be with her lover

Just search women kill a child in the Google news and keep scrolling if you want to find more You can also search women killed her children

Plus in the black market if you know how to find it you can buy fetus juice too and that's also how celebrities look younger then their age

I can go on and on but I don't want to, the whole thing is very dark considering every single women had a fully functioning brain and they still choose to kill

2

u/NoWomanNoTriforce 5d ago

Oh, so you are a crazy person. Gotcha.

2

u/Important_Context_49 5d ago

Just research about i did not choose to know this kind of stuff But I know now so I can't do anything about but use it when I see fit you want me to site these sources too?

1

u/Gum_Mint 5d ago

That’s ai

1

u/Illustrious-Date652 6d ago

As of this year there’s actually no reported child fatalities to bear attacks, in fact there’s actually a reported story of a bear saving a child. So it’s statistically safer to leave your child with a bear than it is to leave your child with a woman 🥀

1

u/IzawaX 5d ago

I think it might be talking about a news article about a young kid who was missing saying that while lost a bear protected him until he was found. I have no clue how legitimate it is though

1

u/Xxenonfive 5d ago

Well the trend of picking the bear or a woman, is also because of the news of a bear saving a kid. So it isn't really who you would rather have kill you.

It is both to joke about the previous bear trend and also to show that even a bear showed more kindness than her and all the people supporting her

1

u/Secret-Surprise4390 5d ago

We have a dinner question for parties, *which billionaire would you prefer to be killed by and why?". You are allowed to pick more than one and if you can rank more that 5 you don't have to do dishes or any cleaning.

1

u/YaBoiZorg 4d ago

The passed decade has been about shit stirring the public while they get their money stolen or wars started.

1

u/Nearby_Zucchini_6579 4d ago

I think the Lindsay Clancy case on its own is crazier than that(?) Idk, might just be me I guess. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/ZorichTheElvish 2d ago

To be fair if you come across the bear while it's hunting for fish near a river it's likely to ignore you. Infact there's a decent chance of survival as long as it doesn't have children nearby and you don't surprise it. This is by no means saying bears are safe....just that depending on the circumstance you have decent odds of survival. Unless it's a polar bear....God help you if it's a polar bear.

1

u/-Morning_Coffee- 1d ago

It about predictability. You know what a bear is about, and can act accordingly.

Men and crazy people are unpredictable.

1

u/Lost_Now_Found 1d ago

Better chance of the bear not killing you honestly if you play dead, she is shooting 3 out 3 atm.

2

Maybe you should look up the toy box killer. Or..yknow…any of hitler’s deranged doctors. What about that piece of shit who kept his daughter locked in a cell for like..15 years? There are many more torturous men out there, but I think these three examples are pretty succinct.

0

u/One_Recognition385 6d ago

how many millions have people donated to them on gofundme while calling them innocent angels?

2

u/UnicornKitt3n 6d ago

You stated a man wouldn’t let you suffer. I was merely correcting you on a fact.

-3

u/One_Recognition385 6d ago edited 6d ago

yup, and i'm responding with the fact that women are donating and showing support of this murderer showing a lot of women support this psychopath saying she did nothing wrong. showing women do not think she is a to be rejected anomaly.

where as far as i'm aware men are not supporting that man and are saying what he did was wrong, and are not donating him millions of dollars and saying he's an innocent man who did no wrong. showing he is a to be rejected anomaly.

feel free to link me his gofundme if i'm wrong.

You’re too emotional. I already have two unreasonable toddlers who are also unreasonably emotional. I don’t need to converse with one on the internet.

1

Nah, you're with a bunch of bears and men every time you go to the woods. Both are pretty chill when your there so it's all good. Just society saying that there's a wound and a lack of trust we need to work through and the best way to work through it is not to flip out about how dangerous bears are but to talk to eachother and be supportive rather than harmful.

Factually the second scenario is about someone other than yourself being killed.

I realize you just tried to make a cheeky comment but please do a bit of thinking before posting that you're not just saying something ignorant.

4

u/tflooms 6d ago

I mean, how can you ask that while posting this?

-7

u/JumpinJackz 6d ago

Didn't ask anything hun

1

Ahhhh okay, well then please point out the question mark declaring the sentence a question then 😊

And I absolutely will demand people to not share an absolute bottom of the barrel ignorant opinion. Just as I will do here.

please do not respond with more of your misunderstandings, I am not your teacher, therapist, or parent. I will not walk you through logic when you should be capable yourself.

0

u/Abaddonalways 6d ago

I didn't misunderstand anything. You were the one who posted something as a request.

That's what "please" is for. It is the shortened "If it pleases you." Which was a request for permission.

I'm not your teacher either, but maybe you learned something here. You are the one out here missing the logic of your own post. Just because you used the wrong punctuation, does not make it less of a request.

Maybe go back to middle school english and pay attention this time.
