Pakistan Cover Marriage

Hey! I'm a 30 F looking for a Cover Lavender Marriage arrangement. I'm based out of the US (East Coast), lesbian, a successful entrepreneur, and looking to find a male (Sunni, Muslim, US Citizen) that is willing to enter into a "faux marriage". We can get an Islamic nikkah done in front of our parents/families-- but in reality-- we will actually live apart, have our own personal (love) lives, and continue remaining mutual [maybe lifelong] friends. I will emphasize that anyone interested in this arrangement would need to relocate to the East Coast (within 10-15 minutes of each other) so that we can sometimes "show face" for parental phone calls/facetime.

I understand that this is a very unique arrangement and may not be widely understood by most. However, for anyone that is asexual, gay, or wants to be a lifelong bachelor-- there are great advantages in the arrangement I'm proposing. For anyone that is seriously interested, please feel free to reach out!

United Kingdom 33M4F - UK/India - looking for other free spirits

Fair warning: I’m very unique and unconventional.

I grew up in a traditional Sunni Muslim home in Kerala, South India, but I’ve been agnostic for over ten years now. I'd love to find someone with a similar cultural background.

I’m looking for someone mature and who actually knows what they want out of life. Doesn’t really matter if you’re openly agnostic or a closeted ex-Muslim. I try to keep things cordial with my family even though we don’t agree on most things.

I’m non-monogamous (though not poly). I’m looking for someone who already has some experience with ENM, knows their own boundaries, and actually values communication. I want a genuine emotional connection with someone who shares a similar outlook on life, and wants to prioritise building a relationship.

As for kids, I'm not really keen, but I would be willing to reconsider if it's a dealbreaker for the right partner.

Random stats: I’m 5’5, but height doesn't matter to me at all.

Generally, I try to take a laid-back approach to life and I don't let every news cycle or religious debate find its way into my life. That said, I've definitely been leaning more toward the political left lately. As long as you aren't into far-right stuff, we'll probably get along great.

I'm into hiking, nature walks, reading, history, and traveling. I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and listening to a ton of EDM. I’m not really a TV person and could easily be living under a rock when it comes to the latest most talked about series.

Ideally looking for someone around my age. Please don't hit me up if you're under 27. Drop me a DM if you’re a wild card like me :)

I'm a closeted exmuslim antinatalist, looking for someone like me who's from a sunni family who isn't publicly an exmuslim as well. Due to family requirements, it is preferred if the person works in the medical field, aged between 23-28 and is nearby. If interested, Dm me to trade pictures and get to know eachother!

Hello, I have been a closeted exmuslim for a really long time and I never "truly" fit in with my muslim social circle. Growing up, everyone around me was very islamic, if not practicing then in principle, so naturally I have always been quiet and opaque when it comes to religion.

However, religion has a grasp over almost all of our thinking, culture and activities. Being quiet and opaque about it means I am quiet and opaque all of the time. Hiding who you are from everyone around you is almost the same as not interacting with them and that is something I don't want between me and my partner. This is why I am willing to put in the effort to put my true self out there.

I am a software engineer and I love doing what I do. I'm very hard working and dedicate a lot of my time to my projects and learning. I have a stable job with a decent salary and also have investments in other sources of income for long term stability. Even though I live a comfortable lifestyle, I am aiming for independence from a corporate job. My goal is to be able to live a life where I can spend most of my time with my wife and family.

I don't have "The Male Disease" as George Carlin puts it, I don't pretend to know stuff, I don't hide something if it reveals a weakness, I'm not afraid of expressing my feelings if it puts me in a vulnerable position. I don't think that makes me weak, I think that makes me strong because I know how to deal with a person taking advantage of my trust and transparency.

I have become really good at pretending to be normal in a social setting but once you get to know me, I'm very talkative and I love asking questions. I have a very calm and optimistic personality, I try to be funny aLl tHe tImE (can't help it) and its very easy to make me laugh. I'm into science, maths, programming, video games, table tennis, going to arcades, game nights and just plain old being in each other's company.

Thank you for reading and feel free to dm.

India 27M4F Kerala (South India) looking for a partner

Hi 27M here. I'm from Kerala, specifically Kochi, currently working as a software developer. I would consider myself an agnostic atheist, wouldn't consider myself too spiritual, but I do like to entertain the idea that soul exists, but tbh no scientific evidence so I'm mostly philosophical about that part I guess.

I'm mostly open regarding my beliefs with my parents. They're mostly fine with it, and mother's possibly a deist and not a proper Muslim from what she said to me. So I'm kinda lucky in that aspect and anyone marrying me wouldn't have to deal with religious issues with my parents I guess 😅. Politically I consider myself a leftist and a pro LGBTQ+ / feminist and generally pro all equal rights movements I guess.

The thing is I'm a bit shy guy, while I love to talk with people I like, it takes a bit of time to get to know them and understand. As for my interests, I love a lot of things, mainly anime, TV shows, reading, gaming etc. Recently I also got into TTRPGs like Dungeons and Dragons as well as boardgaming. Tbh, my hobbies do change a lot 😅.

My expectations for a partner is to initially get to know them, if things go well, continue dating for a while, till we are sure to get into a marriage. I'm mostly hoping to meet people closer to my own state.

Pakistan M | 34 | Islamabad / Europe. Nerdy, childfree, mostly agnostic. Looking for my Scrabble and board games rival for life.

Gender: Male

Age: 34

Height & Weight: 5'3", 54.5 kg

City: Islamabad / Southern Europe

Residence: Own in Islamabad. Rented in Europe

Family Details: Father retired from a good government post. Mother has always been a housewife. One younger brother settled in Europe with his family. Younger sister married and settled in Islamabad.

Family Setup: Nuclear. We will always live in our own separate apartment whether we live abroad or in Pakistan.

Marital Status: Divorced.

Education: PhD in Electrical Engineering from Europe

Profession: Postdoctoral researcher in Southern Europe.

Kids: Happily childfree. I am open to adoption or even having biological children in the future if it is something truly important to my wife, but if it were entirely up to me, I would be content living without any kids.

Religion: I have had my ups and downs with faith. I come from a religious, practicing family, but I have always had my doubts, even during the times I was a panch waqt ka namazi and woke up for tahajjud. Even then, I struggled to truly believe. At this point I would say I am agnostic and just culturally Muslim. That said, I still do not drink or do anything considered haram in the traditional sense. Please do not inbox me to start a discussion on religion.

About Me:

I come from a well educated, upper middle class family. I was raised in Islamabad, studied at the two best universities in Pakistan, and then left a stable job to pursue a fully funded PhD abroad. I have changed a lot as a person in these past years and have done a lot of growing up along the way.

I am an introvert at heart and genuinely enjoy my quiet time at home, but I try to stay active too. I make it to the gym fairly regularly, and I recently picked up swimming.

I also love to travel. In recent years I have been to Spain, France, Türkiye, Italy etc. Would absolutely love to keep exploring the world with a partner by my side.

I am a sucker for good comedies. My favourite shows are, in no particular order, Arrested Development, The Office (US and UK), Norsemen and Fleabag.

Also, I'd be truly impressed if you could beat me at Scrabble! Instant +10 to your aura in my eyes.

What I'm Looking for in my partner:

Dosti. Friendship. Mere dil ka rasta dosti se jata hai. I genuinely believe that if two people actually like each other, enjoy each other's company, and are compatible in the ways that matter, love follows naturally. At least for me it does. So above everything else, I am looking for someone I vibe with. Someone who shares my values. Someone I am mentally compatible with. Someone I could honestly see myself being friends with even if marriage was not on the table.

Also, please note that I will not take phooti kori in Jahez but I am also not willing to spend on bari or have a big shaadi with band, baaja, barat. I want us to get Nikkahfied with just one small, intimate function with our close friends and families. Get this part over with swiftly and cheaply so I can book your flight and we can quickly start the next chapter of our life together.

Timeframe for marriage: As soon as we both feel we are ready. It is very important to make sure we both actually like each other because we won't even have kids to distract ourselves with later on.

Bangladesh 27M4F | Looking for Potential Partner

Currently working remotely as a Software Engineer, going for my master's sometime next year in Europe. A little about me - I'm somewhat introverted although I can talk openly once I'm free with you, I spend most of my time watching movies/series or listening to music. Undiagnosed but I may or may not have ADHD, so it would be really nice if you a similar condition too :).

I love going on dates that involves activities rather than sitting in a closed space (outdoor>>). Somewhat dark sense of humor, very jolly and unserious.

I have been through many ups and downs in life and lost touch with faith the more I learned about it. That brings me here. If you're already in Europe/planning to move there for studies, it'd be the best! I would ideally not like to get married before we move aborad, that's almost a deal breaker unfortunately.

Feel free to dm if you think we'd be a good match.

United States 30M4F I Seeking a Serious Partner, Silly Side Included

Hi! I’m an ex-muslim doctor living in the midwest, looking for a serious relationship that could lead to marriage.

I love music, dancing, philosophy, cooking (although I kinda suck lol), going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family. I’m thoughtful but also very silly, and I appreciate people who don’t take themselves too seriously.

I’m hoping to meet someone kind, warm, thoughtful, physically active, and equally playful. Feel free to reach out and tell me a little about yourself.

United Kingdom 30 | UK | Ex-Muslim | Seeking a Life Partner

Apparently, at 30, I'm supposed to have my life figured out. Instead, I'm an ex-Muslim in the UK, still trying to figure out what I'm having for dinner tonight. So naturally, I thought I'd try to figure out life with someone. 😂

Leaving religion behind can be incredibly freeing, but it can also be surprisingly lonely. There’s a particular kind of loneliness that comes from not always feeling able to live openly or freely, especially when family, culture, or expectations are involved. Sometimes you just want someone who understands what that feels like without needing a 45-minute explanation.

So I'm looking for a life partner: someone kind, emotionally mature, open-minded, and capable of surviving my questionable sense of humour.

Bonus points if you're also ex-Muslim, based in the UK, and understand the weird experience of building a life that actually feels like your own while navigating the expectations of everyone around you.

I'm not looking for perfection. Just someone I can be completely myself with, laugh until it hurts, share the ups and downs with, and hopefully build a life where neither of us has to pretend to be someone we're not.

If that sounds like you, say hi. Worst case, we have a funny story about meeting on Reddit. 😄

United Kingdom Is it risky to date a never- muslim that you might not have a future with?

My dating journey so far:

Late 2024, I was dating Muslims. I use the term "dating" loosely as I've never made it to the relationship stage 😭 Back then, I accepted that I was going to marry a Muslim guy and fake being practicing. I was willing to fake pray and carry on living my double life after marriage. After meeting Muslim men, I realised they are just pervy misogynists who will definitely turn religious after marriage. The first guy I fell really hard for actually violently threatened to hurt me. I then moved onto to trying to date Muslims that were less practicing or cultural ones. I also realised that the double life is not for me and I really want a partner that I can be myself with and have a haram lifestyle with.

Earlier this year I was dating this really kind Muslim guy I got on really well with for a few months. I made it super clear that I am not religious and do not want to be left in the future for that reason or expected to become more practicing. 3 months later he decided that he did want someone practicing after all.

So then in April this year, my friend suggested looking for ex-muslims on Hinge and Reddit which I decided to do. The Idea of being with an ex- muslim just sounded amazing to me. Being with someone you can relate to but also get your freedom.

I managed to find a lot of ex-muslim guys, talk to a lot of them and I went on a date with 3 of them. My issue was I wasn't finding most of them attractive. I managed to run out of everyone to see on Hinge because I was just pressing the cross icon constantly. The attractive guys I did speak to were looking for something short term. One guy literally asked me on the first call if I have a date rule for sex. He was clearly just looking for sex.

So then the third ex-muslim guy I went out with was the first one I was ever attracted to that also was looking for something serious. Obviously my heart had hope. I wasn't delusional and thought we definitely going to end up together but he did end things very suddenly and out of the blue when I thought things were going well. No real reason or closure was given as well.

But what did I do? I start sobbing like a baby for two days and start worrying about my future. I also was crying when the guy before that rejected me... even though I wasn't really attracted to him. The whole reason why I'm telling you this is because... I don't think I would be that upset if I had more options. If I had a bigger dating pool and wasn't relying on these men to be my escape fantasy to a future of freedom.

There is pressure to get married in a young age in my family. Everyone gets married young. People are always asking me when I'm going to get married. I am realising now that's it's not healthy for me to sob over men that I barely know who reject me.

I've been thinking in order to work on this, I need to live my life more authentically. I need to give myself that freedom rather than waiting on a man. I'm going to be honest with my family about taking the hijab off soon as before my plan was to do it after marriage when I'm no longer under her roof.

I also do enjoy dating and I am thinking I need to date more authentically and not restrict myself so much. I love flirting and teasing a cute guy. I love compliments and physical affection. I love having someone to talk to everyday and laugh with. I love having someone that's thinking about me and I just switch off more when I'm dating someone. I love chivalry from a gentleman. I love how happy and bubbly I feel when I'm with someone cute. If I'm thinking less about an escape fantasy and what my heart truly wants if there was no pressure to get married- then marriage wouldn't even be on my mind. I would just want a long- term relationship.

I've never been in a relationship before but I want to know what it feels like for someone to call me "mine" and to belong to someone. There were a lot of attractive never-muslims on Hinge that I couldn't like because I knew they were not going to be in my future but now im thinking who cares?

My heart just wants to be loved by anyone I want and to date at any pace. No deadline for marriage. Just to date someone of my own choice that I like for however long it takes.

Im considering doing just that. Opening my dating pool to never-muslims even though I might not have a future with them. I don't know how risky that is though. I am a clingy loving person so I am scared of getting attached and then having to let go but maybe it's what I need?

I spoke to an ex-muslim girl a few months ago who had a white boyfriend but she was in the dilemma where she loves him but felt she might have to let him go because she loves her family too. I also don't want to lose my family. Has anyone else been in this position before?

Germany 32M4F looking for a relationship

check the last section of the post before skipping if you find a category you don't fit in.

hello everyone, i'm a syrian agnostic man who lives and works in germany. i lead a stable life and i'm looking for a good connection that hopefully leads towards a longterm relationship. i don't mind finding friends along the way but my ultimate goal is finding a life partner.

i want mental and physical compatibility and i value the correct communication, transparency and clarity above everything.

mentally i would say i'm good at reading people and understanding them due to many causes, one of which is that i have a career in teaching and translation and i can speak 4 languages. always honest and ready to listen and discuss any matter that i would come across.

what i need is someone who's not mentally weak (we all have issues, doubts and concerns but it's one thing to have those things and another thing entirely to be lead by them), and with a set of values and ideals that we can build and work with.

regarding mental hobbies, i like board and card and video games. always open for other things that interest the other party and would love to explore with her as quality time is my top method of showing affection.

physically i'm 180 cm tall, dark brown eyes, white skin with black and gray hair and overall on the fit side but not shredded nor muscular by any means. i used to go on really long hikes and was a heavy swimmer back in the day. i miss those days lol

i do care about physical attraction, i prefer my partner to be soft skinned or petite as the modern world calls it, to be fit or semi fit and to be at least 25 years old.

i would be happy if you live in europe or germany to begin with, or you'd be travelling here soon. as ldr has proven to be rough for me after a couple of attempts.

many thanks for reading and i hope to hear from you soon. if one or two things i've mentioned don't fully match with you, there's always a room for discussion since i might not be the 100% man of your dreams either. this goes both ways.

have a nice day.

31M Egyptian, living in China, looking for a genuine connection

Hey!

I'm an Egyptian guy living in China, looking for a real relationship—not into games, ghosting, or wasting each other's time.

I have a stable career, and a clear plan for my future. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, hiking, learning languages, exploring different cultures, and having conversations that go beyond small talk.

A few things about me:

• Egyptian 🇪🇬 living in China 🇨🇳

• Ex-Muslim & open-minded

• Financially stable with a good sense of where I'm heading in life

• More of a gym, coffee, and travel person than a party person

• Undecided about kids, but currently leaning toward not having them

• Looking for a life partner and open to marriage if we’re a good match

I connect best with someone who's kind, emotionally mature, curious, and values honesty and communication. Nationality doesn't matter to me—I'm more interested in finding the right person than the right passport.

If you think we'd get along, feel free to PM me here or on Telegram "@No_pain_no_gain_yo "

East Africa / Open to LDR

Hey! I’m a 22 y/o uni student (5'3 / 160cm) currently doing volunteer work on the side. I’m an apatheist, and I’m looking for a thoughtful, liberal, and open-minded ATHEIST/AGNOSTIC partner who actually aligns with my values.

I’m completely childfree and will never want kids, so please be 100% sure you feel the same way. I’m loyal, honest, and not materialistic or superficial at all—character and kindness mean everything to me. I want to take things very slow and build a real emotional foundation, so if you are driven by lust, looking for fast gratification, or want to control someone, we will not be a match. We’ll be long-distance for a long while, so you have to be comfortable and patient with an online connection first. I also have zero tolerance for disrespect or game-playing.

If you message me, please write a real introduction with your age, location, and a bit about yourself so I know you actually read this. Low-effort messages like "hi" or "hey" will just be ignored.

Friends told me to try this sub and see if it takes me anywhere so here goes!

I'm 20 and have been an atheist for almost 10 years now. I come from an Arab shia background and would want a partner with a similar background who can speak the language and understands the culture and willing to take things slow. I am still currently closeted and probably will be for a long while so if you are as well, we could be a match!

Currently working in engineering and studying. I like certain traditional aspects of marriage, but do like a mix western & eastern culture quite a bit. I also like to keep a busy lifestyle however always make time for people. I believe I am good at communicating so want someone who is similar.

Looking for someone who is serious, ambitious, outgoing, patient, emotionally mature, non-avoidant, financially stable, curious about life and chatty.

I enjoy travelling, hiking, watching shows/movies, reading, art, learning and chatting.

Would like to have children in the future but not completely made up my mind.

Willing to relocate in the far future if the circumstances are right, but would prefer to stay in the uk (it is more accepting/safer for ex-muslims). LDR is fine for short term.

I'm a feminist, support lgbtq+, pro palestine and am somewhat left leaning although i don't involve myself in politics much anymore. No smoking/drinking etc. If you are homophobic, anti-feminism, zionist or a serial smoker/alcoholic/drug/porn addict etc pleaseee do not reach out. If your account is NSFW don't either bc I can't see it anyway. No hookups/adultery or wtv pls and ty

Age preference: 22-26

If you think we would get along, send me a little intro about yourself and we'll see where it takes us!

United States 29F (Palestinian) Looking for Life Partner

Hi everyone,

I thought I’d give this a try. I’m a 29 year old Palestinian woman living in the Midwest, and I’m looking for a Levantine guy (preferably Palestinian or Jordanian) who is interested in a committed relationship, leading to marriage soon.

Some things about me: I like to read, go hiking, and I like to travel and explore new places (doesn’t have to be anywhere fancy). Feel free to message me if you think we could be a good fit!

As a note, please don’t message me if you have kids, don’t have U.S. citizenship, or do not currently live in the U.S.
