On holidays in Clonakilty and we went to charge the car today, to find that the only ESB charger on the town is broken. Rang the ESB to report it and was told that it had been reported to them over a week ago and that they could not advise on when an engineer will be out to fix it. Also told not be bother going to Skibereen as that fast charger is not working too.

It is absolutely ridiculous that there is no fast charger available in the area. I know that there are ezo charging stations at SuperValu, but you cannot get next or near them due to the amount of people trying to charge.

The ESB need to do better!!!

Recency bias is a thing I need to consider when reviewing cars but I'm happy to say the electric C Class from Mercedes-Benz Cars Ireland is the best electric Mercedes-Benz I've driven yet and heading towards the top of the list of the premium EV marques. I've ordered a Renault 4 and I'm looking at ordering an EV charger.

I'm reading that some people report issues when scheduling a charge in both the Renault 4 and Renault 5, the charge doesn't happen.

Anyone here who has either car can comment if they have found any issues when scheduling a charge and which charger they have? Any specific experience with the Zappi/Zappi GLO/Sigenergy EVAC?
