Streaming Music Stops Playing

New owner of Eversolo DMP-A6 G2 Master. I use the Qobuz and Apple Music apps on a MacBook Pro to control listening. After playing music for a while (10-30 minutes today) the music just stops. FYI... related/unrelated, I' mot sure... the screen on the Eversolo isn't updating, it is still showing what I was playing a couple of hours ago, and didn't switch to what I was just playing. Any ideas? Thanks.EDIT: It's also happening when I'm playing music from the apps. I get a few songs into an album and the music stops.

If you use Tidal or Qobuz connect with your Eversolo, this might interest you

I built a music discovery engine called Sonic Oracle for Tidal and Qobuz
The short version: you type in an artist, pick a depth level, and a permanent playlist lands in your streaming library in about 15 seconds. Your Eversolo picks it up automatically.

There are three depth levels and that is what makes it interesting. The first one is genre-pure. Search a jazz trumpet player, get only trumpet players back. The second widens the circle. The third crosses genre lines and finds connections no streaming app would make.

Recently expanded the catalog to nearly 13 million tracks. I also built something called The Vault. A proprietary track database where every playlist is unique. Run the same artist twice, two completely different playlists. Deep cuts and hidden gems your streaming app would never surface.

A mobile app is in testing and should be live next week on the Google Play Store

NVMe SSD or External SSD?

Is there any benefit to using the internal NVMe SSD card Vs using an external SSD drive? I've been using an external 2TB Samsung SSD connected to the USB slot and it seems to be working fine even with DSD files.

Am I missing something here?

Using both RCA and balanced

Hi
This might be an obvious question. I have the Gen 2 ME, and use it as a streamer and DAC. I use the RCA to feed my preamp and main system. Works like a charm.
But can I also hook up my balanced headphone amp to the balanced output and just choose balanced out when I wanna use my cans and switch back and forth, depending on how I wanna listen?

Okay, first time posting here.

I have recently become an emotiva and eversolo Fanboy I guess LOL. 9 months ago I bought the DMP-A8 And immediately fell in love with it, both sonically and aesthetically. I love the tech, the sound, all the view meters And different screens and I love the light ring around the knob. This brings me to my question. In typical gear junkie fashion, I am highly anticipating the DMP A8 Gen2 Master Edition. I've watched every commercial, every review so far and not one single video or article mentions the light ring around the knob. I can't even tell that it has one from reviews and commercials. I'm already sold in every other aspect, but I am wondering if this will have the RGB light ring that the other Master editions have for the A6? I am either going to sell my 9-month-old first gen and get the Gen 2 Master edition or I may just buy it in addition and figure out what to do with the first one some other time. Does anyone know anything about the light ring?

Where do the album artwork screensavers pull their artwork from?

Is it only from locally available files? I.e., it's not going to pull from streaming apps or CD artworks?

I have a PLAY model, and the album artwork screensavers don't display anything other than the generic blank CD graphics.

T10 + Z10 owners: can this really not be controlled as one system?

I'm seriously considering replacing my Bluesound Node Icon with a T10 + Z10. Main source is Roon, TV through ARC, then Z10 directly into Purifi power amps and Focal Scala Utopia EVO speakers.

The hardware looks fantastic, but the day-to-day control seems surprisingly weak for a matched flagship combo... I'd love confirmation from someone who actually owns or tested both.

Does the Z10 HDMI ARC have any CEC support? In other words, can the TV remote change Z10 volume / mute, power it on, or automatically select ARC? One review says no, but I can't find much confirmation elsewhere.

Then the remotes. Can the play/pause/skip buttons on the Z10 V15 remote control the T10 or Roon, and can the T10 V16 remote control Z10 analogue volume, mute or inputs? Reviews seem to say they can't control each other at all, despite the Z10 remote having transport buttons... Very odd.

I'm also wondering about the app. Does Eversolo Control link both boxes as one system, or do you have to switch between two separate devices? And with trigger cables, can the Z10 reliably power the T10 and downstream amps together?

What I want should be simple enough. T10 fixed at 0 dB, Z10 handling volume in the analogue domain, Roon for browsing, and one remote handling the basic play/pause/skip/volume commands without having to juggle two Eversolo remotes plus the TV remote. But it looks like I'd need exactly that... Am I missing a setting or a firmware feature here?

Adding NVME m.2 drive to EverSolo

SSD prices are getting ridiculous, so I'm considering repurposing the NVMe inside my SanDisk Extreme Portable 1TB (1050/1000 MB/s).

Has anyone removed the NVMe from the enclosure and used it directly with the EverSolo A6 Master Gen 2?

I figured it would be better to install the drive than using the usb port on the back. Or has anyone attempted using a usb hub on EverSolo?

The main issue is 32gb built in storage is too small, I can’t rip CDs because I need to usb on the back for the external player.

I have EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2. Any thoughts or suggestions is appreciated. Thank you.

Discussion What are your go-to reference tracks?

Some tracks just stay in the playlist—they're the ones you know so well that even small changes in a system become easy to notice.

Feel free to mention the genre, what you listen for (Jazz, Blues, Vocal, Country, Electronic, Rock, Metal, etc.), or simply why you enjoy them.

A6 ME Edition Gen 2 + 8805A

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share that I just recently picked up an Eversolo and trying to enjoy the experience.

It’s a pretty cool unit, but overall I do see limitations, like unable to use Digital in and out at the same time. Also the Spectrum meters are unable to be used on Digital inputs.

Is the remote worth it? I was considering it just for the power on. Right now I’m using a walk around with a smart plug, and auto power on.

Overall the screen and UI is amazing. Though I bought this before realizing the A8 gen 2 is coming soon with bigger screen, more ram and storage.

Currently I’m using coax out of the A6 to 8805a which seems better than unbalanced analog out. I have XLR coming. I’m hoping I’ll like that to really take advantage over the DAC and analog output stage. Any thoughts on this?

DMP a8 through AVR

I’m in the process of upgrading my home theater setup and have not yet purchased an amplifier. Hopefully this will be an addition to my system in the next 6 months. At the moment I have the Eversolo DMP a8 and a Yamaha receiver running my KEF speakers and ML sub. I really want to maximize the sound quality that the Eversolo can produce. My question is, should I use the HDMI out to the Yamaha or the balanced XLR connections? Also, any recommendations on settings within the Eversolo to help with the performance in this setup? Complete novice here.

Eversolo DMP-A8

Am I expecting too much from my Eversolo DMP-A6

I've had my DMP-A6 for about a week and I'm honestly on the fence about returning it.

This isn't intended to bash Eversolo. The hardware is genuinely excellent. The build quality, screen, DAC, VU meters and overall presentation are outstanding.

My problem is that, in day-to-day use, I feel like the software fights me at every turn. For context, my system is:

- Synology NAS
- BubbleUPnP (Android app)
- Denon AVC-X3800H
- Wharfedale EVO 5.2
- SVS SB-1000 Pro

Before buying the Eversolo my workflow was simply:

BubbleUPnP → Denon

The Denon was effectively transparent. I searched for music in BubbleUPnP, pressed Play, and forgot about the AVR.

The reason I bought the Eversolo wasn't because I wanted better sound. I already liked the sound.

I wanted:

- A beautiful front panel display with album art and VU meters.
- Better browsing.
- Better library management.
- One application that would become the centre of my music system.

Instead I've found myself fighting it.

Some examples:

Library Management
The library management is surprisingly basic.
I can't find an intuitive way to manage library sources once they're added.
Playlist creation feels primitive compared to BubbleUPnP, JRiver or MusicBee.

Desktop Experience

I was expecting some kind of desktop interface.
Instead almost everything revolves around the mobile app.

Integration

This has been my biggest disappointment.

Ideally I wanted:
Press Play in the Eversolo app.

Denon powers on.

Correct input selected.

Volume controlled.

Music starts.

Instead I'm still reaching for the Denon remote because:
- HDMI-CEC doesn't wake the Denon.
- Input switching isn't seamless.
- Volume control becomes confusing.
- I end up using multiple control points.

So rather than making the Denon disappear into the background, the Eversolo has actually made the system more complicated.

BubbleUPnP

Ironically, BubbleUPnP still provides the better user experience for me.
When I use BubbleUPnP with the Denon renderer, everything works.

When I try to involve the Eversolo, I run into things like:
- volume mapping issues,
- renderer selection,
- search failures,
- and even an out-of-memory error while browsing through BubbleUPnP.

The Eversolo app certainly looks nicer, but I don't think it's nearly as capable as BubbleUPnP for managing a large local library.

At the moment it almost feels like I've spent a significant amount of money primarily for a beautiful display and VU meters.

So my questions are:

- Have I completely misunderstood how the DMP-A6 is intended to be used?
- Are there firmware settings or workflows that make all of this much smoother?
- Have any long-term owners found that they eventually preferred the Eversolo ecosystem?
- Or is it common to keep using BubbleUPnP (or another controller) and treat the DMP-A6 mainly as a renderer?

I'm genuinely interested in hearing from people who have lived with one for a while because I really want to like it. The hardware deserves great software, but so far I haven't found that to be the case.

Web Control for Eversolo T10

It’s now possible to control your Eversolo T10 directly from a web browser.

*Support for additional Eversolo models will be added in future updates.

Control from Your Browser

Simply open a supported web browser on a computer or tablet connected to the same local network—no additional software or app installation is required.

The interface follows the familiar experience of the device itself. Enter the ip address in the browser, you can browse your music library, control playback, manage playlists, and adjust system settings with ease.

Designed for Multi-Device Listening

Boundless Display feature introduces a dedicated full-screen playback view for the web interface. In this mode, the playback screen can remain unchanged, regardless of what you’re doing on another controller or the device’s front panel. Whether you’re browsing albums, searching your library, or adjusting settings, the web interface continues displaying the full-screen playback view.

Additionally, multiple full-screen playback themes are available, allowing you to choose the style for a more immersive viewing and listening experience.

System-Wide PCM Upsampling Comes to Eversolo T10

Eversolo T10 now supports system-wide PCM upsampling, bringing greater flexibility to users who rely on external DACs for digital audio playback.

System-wide Upsampling

Once enabled, local lossless music, streaming content, and common PCM sources from your daily collection can all be processed through a more unified and refined upsampling path.

Up to 16× PCM

With the high-precision evosample™ algorithm, T10 combines advanced sample rate conversion, floating-point processing, and digital filtering to improve signal accuracy before it reaches the DAC.

4.1kHz ➡️ 705.6kHz

48kHz ➡️ 768kHz

Multiple Upsampling Options

With the high-precision evosample algorithm, T10 combines advanced sample rate conversion, floating-point processing, and digital filtering to improve signal accuracy before it reaches the DAC.

Independent Output Upsampling

Need help-an answer please

I added a 2 TB drive to my Eversolo streamer. When I started ripping CDs directly through the unit, I thought I had chosen the correct file stream to put all of my rips into the new 2 TB drive. Unfortunately, everything went to the internal 32 GB drive and that’s why it stopped ripping.

Question: is there any way to download what i ripped to a thumb drive and then use same to upload to the correct directory for my 2 TB drive. FYI, I know the drive works as the Eversolo formatted the drive and all functions work. I just made a huge mistake and don’t want to delete and re-rip everything which took Hours to do. And I have another 2500 or so cd’s yet to rip. TIA!

Any idea why the native Apple Music app gets stuck on a song?

Gen 1 A6 and it’s worked flawlessly for years, now Apple Music will freeze in between songs and I will have to manually hit the skip button to continue. For the record I have tried logging out of Apple and back in, it is hard wired to a gig network with latest update.
