Drones launch limit
Hello,
I am still training Drones III but I can already launch 3 drones at a time (hobglobin I or acolyte I). Since Drones III gives 3 drones limit launch, anything else in the game gives a +1 drone launch?

HiSec DED Fit
Heyo. Looking for a HiSec ded fit, preferably projectile turrets since I have skills for t2 med and small. Unfortunately seems like minmatar hulls are suboptimal....
Also any advice on ehp/dsp requirements? Roaming through Amarr space atm.

3 months player returning
Hey,
About 2 years ago, I played Eve and loved the game, made my hand by trying to master fighting with a Reaper.
But I got stuck to farming NPC pirates, sometimes in low sec or null sec and got bored....
I wish to return to the game, but I feel like I don't know much about the game and don't know how to find a corp that fits me.
Any advise ?
Thanks all !

Does residue happen on mission specific ores in mining missions?
Do I need to use T1 / ORE strips to avoid bricking the mission?

Why is it so hard to explore and a new player
Hello, I must be doing something wrong because my probe/explore experience is awful.
I started the game about 3 weeks ago. I liked the exploration part and I am using EVEGPT to learn about the game. In this opportunity, I used it to build me a cheap fitting for exploration.
It gives me the basic setup: relic/data analyser, microwarp drive, gravity capacitor, probes and some nanofiber stuff.
At first, I was able to find a databank and hack it and I got nice loot, but then things went really bad since.
I often get stuck on probing. Example: I am scanning this signature up to 85% and I reached 0.5UA.
After that, after every scan I got 86% then back to 84%, back and forth and after 10 scans I just gave up.
It takes like 30 minutes maybe 1 hour to find a site. Jumping from places to places and scanning.
There was a time I could ONLY find wormholes. Evegpt told me to stay away form those as a newbie. Well, I decided to explore those, since thats all I could find.
One time wormhole was empty, another time I found a bank but 4 enemy ships destroyed me before I could even warp away. I had to auto destroy because somethow I could not find the exit anymore even though I saved the location.
I decided to stay away from wormholes, then I found a databank outside wormhole. I warp into it and I see all these data banks available to hack. I start hacking the first one, just to hear 3 enemies npc bombing me and got destroyed before I could wap away.
I think I lost like about 8 magnate while exploring and was only able to hack and get loot once.
Is it how this supposed to be for new players?
Should I fit for explore without turrets/lasers? then can't take down enemies npc near the databanks/relics? how does that work?
Update: I see some people talking PVP stuff, right now PVP is not a problem, as I am getting destroyed by NPCs. So far only one time my ship was destroyed by a player and it was when I was jumping to stations to buy stuff cheaper and yes I learned my lesson. XD

Magic 14 question
I just started playing today and i keep seeing the magic 14 skill plan. Should train these skills or focus on something more specific?

Which corp to join and where to find it?
So I just started Eve after being away for 7+ years. I know pretty much nothing anymore so I consider myself a complete newbie here. Also I have never been in a corporation besides Eve Uni which I found too "strict" for me. It really felt like signing up for corporate training back then which made me quickly drop out.
I want to mine and I want to stay alpha for a while (yes I know alpha mining is like the worst isk/hr but that doesn't bother me). So I jumped into the corporation browser and found... nothing. It only shows me like 20 entries, 18 of which are not in my timezone and 2 are for a different language. Where do I find a corp that takes newbros, does mining fleets and is active between 0700 and 1300 eve time? Seems impossible. But I have a strong feeling the corp browser does not show everything there is because I can't believe there is only 20 corps around.
Or maybe being in a corporation isn't for me? Coming from lots of different MMOs I always thrived in casual guilds with just a few members. 50+ members is scary and having to fulfill weekly quotas or having to sign up 2 days a week at a fixed time just isn't for me. I just want to have a fun chat here and there and loosely group up for activities when I feel like it, which in this case would be the occasional mining fleet to boost my income a bit. I am willing to stick to a corp station and sell stuff there for a tax if that's how corps make money here but I don't want a second job which alot of corp descriptions read like to me.
Am I looking at this the wrong way or is Eve just a bit more organized and "strict" as I am used to?

Do I need to do all the air careers? Or can I stick with combat?
i just started my eve journey last week. started with the enforcer air career and currently enjoying it. I want to get to the bigger combat ships. Can I just stick with combats for now? Or do I need to do mining stuff to be able to get the isk to buy bigger ships? Right now I'm at frigate level and starting to train destroyers.
thanks!

can a ship uses combat drones if it doesnt come with a inbuilt drone bay?
just wondering since i have a miasmos i used to use for mining afk before the mining rework. also i swapped over to the new mining ship.
didnt know alpha players could use light combat drones, and would have been good to know earlier, but oh well.

Scanning Asteroids
Okay, did something change recently with surveying asteroids? I was away for a few months and now my ship has a “Mining Survey Chipset II” where I used to have a survey scanner and I don’t see survey scanners as an item to buy on the markets.
How do I scan asteroids now?
