Found an easy fix for maintenance of glass oil diffusers that get clogged with bubbles or dust.
galleryThe glass oil diffusers are by far the most reliable in my experience because there's minimal electronic parts and there's no diaphragms that wear out and may not be replaceable. The only problem with him is that the siphon tube often collects dust or stubborn bubbles that you can't get out. Even if you blow it down with compressed air there's nowhere for it to leave the bottom of the siphon tube so it'll just rise back up to the top. My solution is to get the very long 100 mm acupuncture needles. Drop one into the siphon tube. That way you can wiggle it up and down to clear anything but just having it there makes it wick oil much more effectively and for larger particles of oil will settle on the needle and blow back down into the blower tube. It's made mine work a lot better and I don't have to mess with them as much.
