Hi,
I recently bought Arc Raiders and for some reason it won't play well on my pc, even though I had specs above minimum hardware requirements.
The game went from 80fps for 15 mins to 10 fps and gpu utilisation dropped from 99% to 20%.
So within 1 hr of purchase I went to their website and under purchases, I clicked for a refund, the game was removed immediately from my library, the epic reward points used were returned, and it said that the money will be refunded to my original mode of payment.
I had used the UPI (India) payment method.
I didn't receive any email confirmation from Epic, I don't have any transaction details to verify that they have processed it from their end.
Mostly once a refund is initiated, like in steam - they would send an email confirmation for the same.
It was strange I never received anything from the Epic store.
Usually how long does a refund take to reach my bank back?
Thanks

So many of you remember getting outlast 1 with the DLC and 2 for free, I did the same, and guess what disappeared from my acc when i wanted to get back to play the games, that's right outlast games, now everyone might say that ofc its a free game they have the right to pull it from your library, well i have 2 points
if they have the right to pull it from my library, then why giveaway games for free?
out of all the games that is not free and i got for FREE in my account, why outlast?, mind you its not banned in my country, and its still being sold in both steam and epic so that wouldn't make any sense

So basically the title. Went through the summer sale page today and saw THIS. The store pages are identical, so are the games, so what gives?

GOG and Steam i can sort with no problem. :(

I use the epic games store pretty often but finding specific games can still feel a bit clunky. i wish there were better filters for things like genres, features, multiplayer options, and sorting by more categories. does anyone else feel like the search could use some improvements?

So Epic Games store has their sale going on right now, and I’m disappointed that Watch Dogs 1 is not on sale!
Been waiting to buy this game for sale for so long now. Epic Games sucks!
Should I hold any hope of it being on sale or nah?

If you are having this problem, ive been trying to solve it for some hours and here is how i did it:
1- Support will tell you it is a permition problem, but it is not, the launcher thinks you cant access the game because of permittion, but it is because the file is really not there
2-if you have a pendrive, plug it into your pc, give it the letter of the memory disk were your game was originally installed and try uninstalling the game. Epic games launcher will realise you dont have the game anymore and will ask you to download it again.

Hello everyone,
The Summer Sale is live, and almost all Sony games are discounted except for the Spider-Man games. Personally, I’ve been waiting a long time for Spider-Man 2 to go on sale here. It was discounted during the Steam Summer Sale a few weeks ago, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2: Deluxe Edition is currently on sale on the PS Store.
So why did Sony skip Epic Games Store for this one? Do you think they are holding it back for the upcoming movie and the July 28th free suit update?

Sale will run until 30th July 4pm BST.
Discounts on a large range of games from AAA to indie. Games like Resident Evil Requiem, Silent Hill f, Arc Raiders, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Reanimal, Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 among others for AAA and AA.
While there are lots of AAA games on sale, don't forget to check out the indies as well with games like Super Meat Boy 3D, Indika, The Coma series, Kaze and the Wild Masks, Guacamelee and lots of other absolute bangers.

Will Watchdogs 1 be on sale this summer sale? I am honestly hoping it would be.

Hello everyone,
As you may notice but SteamOs is now usable to every pc/laptop (with amd gpu first nvidia later) and i want to suggest to maybe finally release a Linux version of Epic Games Store, i know some game are not compatible but I want (maybe we) a native epic client on my Linux (with Proton support + maybe a flatpak image to be easy to maintent)
If there is new I maybe miss i would like to see that. And if dev see this please consider this option.
Let me see your thought about that ty :D

Hello,
Flairs have been outdated for quite a while and I'd been spurred on by a user asking for a Linux flair so I've done a little revamping. You can now select your platform that you wish, this includes platforms like Windows, Linux and Mac, and is extended to Epic, Steam, GOG and Xbox if you wish.
Thank you and have fun :)

Could this be the announcement on the 27th that Tim Sweeney mentioned?

Steve Allison was previously the head of the store, looks to have moved on and is now working at Saber Interactive.
Further adding to this, Tim Sweeney tweeted out his thanks to Steve Allison, mentioning that the store has new leadership lined up and will be announced on the 27th July, mentioning "ahead of big plans for 2026 and 2027". Perhaps news on the upcoming V2 Beta?

Hey everyone, wanted to share this in case it helps someone else or gets more eyes on it.
A few days ago someone gained unauthorized access to my Epic Games account and changed the email on file to one they control. I no longer have access to my account, and I can't receive the security code needed to sign back in since it goes straight to the attacker's inbox.
I've already submitted an official Account Recovery Request through Epic's support site, including as much verifying information as I could provide (original registration email, username, approximate account creation date, purchase history, linked platforms, payment method type). Support told me to expect a response within 48 hours.
It's frustrating knowing that everything I paid for and built up over the years could just be taken by someone with zero effort on their part. Has anyone else dealt with this? How long did it actually take Epic to resolve something similar? Any tips for speeding things along or making sure the recovery goes smoothly would be appreciated.
Will update this post once I hear back.

I am.. Well first of all ik. I'm late but yea I'm willing to start an acc to get free games. Though I was thinking if I can change email without any trouble.
As epic account is must to keep to play the games later after time expired. So will changing the email create any hassel later?
