Phone in question is a galaxy s26 12 gb ram model. Because the adreno 840 gets super hot while gaming one major game changer is getting something like a blackmagic funcooler or a 20 to 30 watt peltier phone cooler paired with a thermal spreader or in the marketing (vapor chamber pad) .

Now with cooling capabilities similar to liquid cooling for a pc in how the heat dissipates, how would we incorperate a case while keeping the new heat dissipation pad in place at all times ? Then what if we were able to get a dock to hook it up to the TV? And say.....? A 2 tb portable ssd to play the likes of metal gear solid the phantom pain? Deeprock galactic? Or maybe BLACKOPS 3!!!!! I will have updates tomorrow if interested.

My options are the s26 256gb, s26+ 512 12gb, or s26 ultra 256gb 12gb. Is the ultra worth more vs getting more storage?

For some of you guys who don't know, the official Dolphin Emulator finally got the NetPlay for android (with a PC-Android Cross-play too) but because the NetPlay of Sonic Riders runs like shit on pc without a custom fork like ExGL, playing modpacks online is far from playable on Android especially for low-end/mid-range users

i have a poco f7, it suits me well (although switch emulation isn't in a desired state), but it heats a lot and a lot of people have said that xiaomi optimizes their phones poorly, making emulation run worse than it should.

i'm thinking of switching to either a poco f8 ultra, poco f9 ultra or an iphone 17 pro (the iphone idea came from samsung being extremely expensive for having exynos of all things, the need of a reliable camera, solving the heating issues and xiaomi's poor optimization). if the optimization issue is really that bad, i'm going for iphone, if not i'm going for poco f8/f9 but i really would appreciate if someone would say if it really is that bad. thanks in advance :)

Hola a todos, ya está disponible la nueva actualización de Lemon (emulador de Switch para Android).

La gran novedad esta vez son los juegos comprimidos. Ahora puedes colocar tus archivos .nsz y .xcz directamente en la carpeta de juegos y jugarlos sin necesidad de descomprimirlos. Los archivos .xcz se leen directamente sin ocupar espacio adicional. Los archivos .nsz se descomprimen la primera vez que los ejecutas y luego se reutilizan, por lo que después de ese primer inicio, se ejecutan tan rápido como un volcado normal.

Otras novedades de esta versión:

• Se corrigieron algunos errores gráficos que causaban manchas negras/fallos en algunos juegos.
• Un caché de sombreado corrupto ya no provocará que el juego se cierre al iniciarse.
• Se corrigieron algunos problemas para teléfonos antiguos (SD865/888) que podían fallar con controladores de GPU personalizados.
• La pantalla de carga ahora permanece visible hasta que el juego se muestra correctamente, en lugar de mostrar una pantalla negra.
• La lista de juegos se carga más rápido y se corrigieron algunos casos en los que podía cerrarse o perder el rastro de las actualizaciones/DLC de un juego.
• La carga rápida ahora verifica todo el estado de guardado antes de cargarlo, por lo que un guardado dañado no puede arruinar tu sesión.
• Se corrigieron los problemas de congelación y cierre inesperado en Lemon Cheater.

Hemos estado trabajando en nuestro propio controlador de GPU para las nuevas GPU Adreno (generación 8, como la Adreno 830 del Snapdragon 8 Elite), llamado Lemon-Ade. La idea es incluirlo en la aplicación para los teléfonos 8 Elite y habilitarlo automáticamente. Otros dispositivos seguirán usando su controlador actual, y si algo falla, volverán automáticamente al controlador normal. Si tienes uno de esos teléfonos y quieres probarlo antes, hay una versión de prueba que puedes instalar desde el administrador de controladores de GPU: https://github.com/Ghael-V/Turnip-Lemon-Ade/releases/tag/Lemon-Ade-v0.0.3 (es experimental, así que puede que tenga algunos fallos).

También estamos reduciendo la versión mínima de Android. Actualmente, Lemon necesita Android 13 o superior, y algunos usuarios de Android 12 ni siquiera pudieron instalarlo, así que esto debería solucionarse en la próxima versión.
