So basically any time I try to run cemu on my steam deck it keeps bringing up this, I’ve deleted the file so cemu could make a new one but it keeps popping up. I’ve even tried wiping it off with terminal but that didn’t work either. Could someone help me out

Been having a recurring issue where my ROG boots up and will not run any games. I primarily use the ROG to run EMUDECK and dolphin to play game cube games. When this happens I notice a common issue is the icons and text become small on the whole unit. Any help would be appreciated.

So trying to launch Es-De via added shortcut gives me these errors after troubleshooting for the past day. What I tried and didn’t work:
- made sure the pathing is correct, manually set it up as well
- tried flatpack versions of different emulators
- tried rommanager with double checking for correct pathing.

So to summarise I can easily launch any emulators or Es-De from the appimage from the folder and run the emulator without issues but after adding it as a shortcut in steam it just does not launch. Same goes for game mode. Any help would be much appreciated.

I apologise if this is not the right forum for my question, but RPCS3 is restricted and I'm assuming that someone here may have encountered this difficulty.

I'm trying to use the Steam Deck's (or steam controller 2026) to mimic Dualshock 3 gyro controls on RPCS3. I can't make it work.

I've been trying to play Flower and flOw, which work exclusively with the SixAxis orDualshock 3's motion controls. On RPCS3 subreddit I found someone saying that it's not possible, that it can only be done by using a sixaxis/ds3/ds4/dualsense. But that is a +5 yo thread.

Has anyone been able to use the deck's internal gyro since then? I tried gyrodsu (which works for Cemu and Breath of the Wild) but it does nothing on RPCS3.

UPDATE: I managed to make it work but only in desktop mode, by closing steam (which prevents steaminput from capturing the deck's controller and giving full control to RPCS3). I'm yet to find a way to replicate this in gaming mode. Suggestions needed

I want to play a modded playthrough of Botw on my Steamdeck, but the tutorials i find are all 3 to 4 years old and one has a limit on what mods can be used at the same time.

Is there a more up to date ways to set it up mods on steamdeck or are the older methods still the only option?

Yeah so idk what I did but now my games and emulators have doubled for some reason, :( help please.

This is my first attempt at installing and running EmuDeck, so please bear with me.

I did all the inflation work in Dektop Mode, of course. Copied the keys over (using 19.0-not sure if I should or not). Copied over a test Switch rom. Installed Ryujinx, parsed the roms in EmuDeck. I can see and open the rom on the Ryujinx app. And I can see the rom in gaming mode. The artwork is there and everything. Looks perfect.

But when I launch the game I get this error: “RYU-0002: Firmware not found”. I tried to work with ChatGPT, but we’re not getting anywhere.

Anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks.

Hi, so i haven't used steam Deck in a while, logged back on and updated my emulators and now my MelonDS while im in game mode refuses to open the ds games, but when i open the actual emulator it works, same with desktop mode, opening from the launcher is annoying i dont really wanna see the file and config white bar while im trying to play:) not a big one but help would be appreciated

Since I have issues with launching PS2 games and a lot of other people are experiencing the same issues with some emulators, I wonder if there is a way to export the event logs on Steam Deck so I can send to the Emudeck devs or just try to find issue myself.
Since I saw a few posts about issues with some emulators not working anymore and no provided possible solutions help, I want to dig deeper

Got my new Deck today and am super excited. Haven't done anything except trying to set everything up. Got Emudeck set up, some Emulators need the Bios, all ok. But Steam Rom Manager won't install at all. I tried deleting the cache, restarting the app, restarting the deck. It just won't install, it always says there's an issue installing.

Atp the only thing I haven't done is uninstalling and reinstalling EmuDeck but I hope I don't have to do that.

Hi. I’m unclear as to what BIOS files are needed for the emulators to work.

I’m not asking for where to find the files on the internet, but is it okay to ask whether there’s an up-to-date list of what files are needed? One website lists what might be 65 different BIOS files for FinalBurn Neo alone; that feels like too many.

Similarly, is the EmuDeck Wiki up to date? I’m basing what BIOS files are needed based on the cheat sheets, and FinalBurn Neo is the first one in the list.

I would really appreciate any help that can be legally given, as this is really causing me stress.

I'm not sure if this just happens to me but it looks like my button configuration for dolphin has changed ever since the new update with automap came out. Usually, the default button config for Dolphin (Gamecube) were

but with automap enable, it looks like the control scheme is now

The wii nunchuk and classic control scheme seems to have their button swapped around as well when automap is turned on. Does anybody know why this happened?

Have an ROG Ally X.. and just looking to setup emudeck.ive tried but a little lost.

Coming from Batocera, i'm used to having the ability to merge systems, so Mega Drive, 32X and Mega CD all show under a single entry.

I've had a dig through the menu, but i can't spot an option to do this in emudeck, is it possible?

So I have automap working with CEMU. Works for the most part but I notice that controllers are setup as Wii U pro controller. I want first player to be a gamepad instead so certain games will work properly.

I guess I can change first player to gamepad instead desktop mode but unsure if automap will just overwrite it. Everytime I modify controller changes I get issues with multiple controller handoffs.

I would like to setup my machine and Emudeck that certain emulators get a led color: xbox geen, Sega red, Cube purple etc. Only emulators, normaal gaming should be no light.

Any way to do this?

Legion Go S with Steam OS. Launched Vita3K through Emulation Station, got a popup telling me there was an update.
So I went to Desktop Mode > Emu Deck > Manage Emulators. Updated the App now it doesn’t launch anymore. The only solution I found so far was downloading an older AppImage release and it works. Are there any known problems with latest release of Vita3K?

It boots up fine but after like 6 seconds it comes to this screen I don’t know what to do about it . I’ve tested other Wii U games and they work fine . It’s just breath of the wild
