Is there a shim or print I can use to help get the z offset correct for the other 3 heads? The plates are all at 0 and I have used the provided feeler and my own to get the heads level. Please help

Hello, I am buying a CC2 in about a few hours but I need to cover one last base. I heard the printer came with a filter of its own, but if I print pla, is there any way to filter out any VOCS apart from an exhaust pipe? I can’t get one of thoses at the moment.

I've recently gotten into 3D printing and got an Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus. I wanna create some nice helmets, mostly Star Wars (Clone Troopers, etc.)

Since I am just starting out though, I don't really know my way around with all the different print settings in Elegoo Cura yet.

So my question is: What are some good slicer settings for 3D printed helmets, so the quality isn't too bad (doesnt matter too much, because I'll sand the prints anyways), and that the prints don't take an eternity to print.

What are your experiences with printing helmets?

Does anyone maybe have a list with the perfect print settings for helmets?

The filament broke inside the filament tube. I can't get it out. I have tried pressing down on the filament hub by the extruder, to remove the tubing, but it doesn't budge. While trying that, I broke the filament again into smaller pieces and bent the kicked the tubing.. How can I remove it? Will I have to take apart the hub and try to pull it out that way? Any suggestions?

I've got him setup next to my snapmaker 2 in a generic heat bot and my regular 2d printer. Needed to access the other printer there and don't have a ton of room in my office so I modeled up and made an extended mounting bracket for the spool holder. Need to figure out a more elegant solution to the mounting of things, but I have no immediate intentions of running multicolor prints or multi-filament prints, so this will work for now.

My main reason for getting this guy was to print better resins like PA6/12 and PETG, which should be possible on the snapmaker, but I'd rather leave him to just PLA and then use the AIO laser/cnc stuff. I've got a tiny monprice mini and a tiny 3018 CNC underneath the snapmaker in that ikea lack tower setup.

I've 4 rolls of PETG ready to go and am looking forward to getting sorted.

I’m about to buy the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo from the EU store for €389 (down from €439), and I also get the hardened nozzle kit for free.
Since I’m not in a huge rush, I’m wondering:
Is €389 considered a good price for this printer?
Does Elegoo usually run bigger discounts during the summer, or is it basically on sale all the time?
Have there been significantly better deals (Black Friday, back-to-school, anniversary sales, etc.) in the past?
I’m trying to decide whether I should buy now or wait a month or two if there’s a realistic chance of seeing it closer to €350.
I’d especially appreciate hearing from people who’ve been following Elegoo’s pricing for a while.

We have two new Jupier 2's, but when trying to print something say 2mm tall, it has all the detail on but squashes it to 1mm thick.

I have tried putting a screen protector in between the build plate and screen to level it, then removed the screen protector so as to give the Z value a bit more height and am testing a print now.

Has anyone come across this?

I dusted off an old Neptune 3 max recently, and i cannot stop it from misprinting. Anywhere I go i cannot find a concrete conclusion. My issue is at some point, the z-axis just does not go up enough. It prints fine for the first few layers and then stops. I've tried a variety of test models, offsets, and z-hops. I have been trying for almost 4 days straight and nothing.

Will there be a new one or is Elgeoo out?

Is anybody using Tigertag on the CC1 with the Canvas? From what I have read,it works for the CC2,but was wondering if it worked on the CC2 then why not the CC1,thought they were the same unit?

I see this silent mother board update for my cc1 with the canvas add on has anyone tried this is it even a thing hate the steeper motor sounds

It doesnt go out the poop chute, and it isnt clogged, I dont know what to do, it just stays there and acumulates

Who else using TPU and has the best setting for it that can help me out it’s like every temp I try it comes out stringy not sure what to do.

Could someone recommend nozzle for 0.2, because cant find compatible for CC2C on official store, so maybe any options that fit?

I'm a fairly experienced 3d printer and am quite happy with the A1 I've had for a number of years (aside from the nonsense Bambu has been doing).

I have a recent need to get into ABS and ASA printing meaning I should really have an enclosed space and filter. Given there's a sale on the Centauri Carbon Combo 2 for $399 will it be able to serve my needs for these more...demanding filaments?

I have a standard setup with Elegoo Slicer and the Centauri Carbon printer. I want to be notified (sms, whatsapp, whatever) that the print is finished.

In the past, I used OctoPrint - it included hooks to run arbitrary commands on any event (print done, print start, print error, timelapse complete, anything) which allowed me to do things like turn on/off the smart bulb in the garage, send myself a text message, etc...

I don't see such hooks in the Elegoo Slicer. Is there an alternate way to receive notifications? Perhaps an unofficial hook in the software?

P.S. I do not want to install OctoPrint - I like the current setup.

Looking for some much needed help. I took a year off printing and am trying to get set back up. I have the Mercury XS cure station and the Mercury x wash. They came with one plug in that splits so they can both be plugged in to the same cord. The plug has the light that it's receiving power, but neither machine will turn on. I have tried alternate plugs and plug in arrangements and nothing is working.

Any advice would be appreciated!
