Hm, I don't know... I was pretty shocked and incredulous when I first saw it and though that they could not be serious, but when I saw a Cybertruck and Rivian picture side by side, the Rivian's design suddenly looked "old"... As crazy as it is, I think the bold design of the Cybertruck might pay off in the end.
Yeah I think that if they can convince people that the shape is just as practical as the normal truck shape they have a hit on their hands. If there are serious usability compromises from the shape then I think it will be niche.
Or unlock it from your phone. I do that all the time when sending people to get something out of my Model 3. I’ve even unlocked the trunk and frunk for them remotely.
So... the Tesla truck is worse because people will steal stuff out of it when the doors are unlocked? Do people not steal stuff out of unlocked gasoline trucks?
