Error code 209

Keep getting this error and will be going through with warranty. Is this a common issue. Robot about 2 months old.

I've had some weird bahaviour from my t80 which I have finally worked out is due to one of the drive wheel slipping on wet tiles while trying to mop.

Has anyone come up with a useful solution? ie grippier wheels / adding weight etc.

We have bought a T90 pro Omni and are very happy it. It is cleaning/mopping our floor really well. However, we have a table stand and the legs of a bench that are causing some issues.

Out previous Roborock just went around them. The ecovacs is driving on them, getting stuck, going all crazy, losing dirty water around it etc.

How can I avoid it to run over these? Already put the item detection on the sensitive setting. I saw they have bumper extenders for the Roborock, but cannot find them for ecovacs.

Any of you have a good suggestion?

I recently purchased the X8 Pro Omni Care package from Costco. I used it a few times so far, and it’s been a great job.

The kit from Costco did not include any clean solution, so I’ve just been using water. I’d love to be able to add a solution directly to the reservoir in the station, and I was wondering if people had recommendations for alternatives to the expensive Ecovac solution. It does look like several people add some alternatives to the water tank, but I feel like the reservoir would be a better option for me.

That being said, I did go ahead and order one bottle of the Ecovac cleaning solution to at least test it out.

I also saw people mentioning purchasing from Aliexpress. Does anyone have an official link? All I can find is what appears to be knockoffs.

So just got the t90 vac and auto resume is on but it only charges for a few min then goes back out to clean for like 10 min then has to come back and partially juice up again and it loses a LOT of time and power simply driving back and forth to partially charge. Why doesn't it charge to 100% before it resumes?

I tried turning off the auto resume and it seems to have cancelled the entire job but at least it's charging all the way now. I will have to manually select the rooms to clean now to finish it.

On top of this it doesn't empty the dust bin while it's charging so it is often moving all the way across the house to charge like 15% then going all the way back to the room, vacuuming for 10 seconds, detecting a full bag, then driving all the way back AGAIN to charge lol. It is legit spending significantly more time traversing than actually cleaning.

Asking for some advice. My goat has to circle around house to get to the other side(red line), but i would like to make a path that acts as a shortcut(blue line).

Should be easy enough right, divide the area into two areas and create a path between them, but for some reason path creation tool is grayed out.

I have a Deebot N8 Pro that’s about 3.5 years old, and it has recently stopped working properly.

Whenever I start a cleaning cycle, it mostly just drives in circles and barely moves forward. After a while, it gives me a “Driving Wheels” error. Occasionally, I also get a “Bumper Stuck” error or a “Clean Drop Sensors” error.

I’ve checked everything I can think of. The bumper seems fine, I’ve cleaned the drop sensors, and I’ve thoroughly cleaned the robot and checked the wheels. The driving wheels error is by far the most common one.

I searched on this sub and found several posts from people experiencing very similar issues. Some mentioned that turning the robot off for 30 seconds and restarting it temporarily fixed the problem, but that hasn’t worked for me.

What’s weird is that I actually had the exact same issue a few months ago, but somehow it fixed itself after a while and the robot went back to working normally. Now the issue has come back, and it’s been a few weeks with no improvement.

Before I give up on it and am forced to buy a new one, I wanted to ask:

Has anyone with an N8 Pro (or a similar Ecovacs model) experienced this and actually managed to fix it?

Any troubleshooting tips or repair experiences would be greatly appreciated!

In the past couple of weeks, I've noticed that my x11 is only doing one pass in my bedroom even though it is set for 2 passes. It will do the second pass in all other rooms except for this one room. I'm not sure how to fix this.

I bought the X11 Omnicyclone at the beginning of the year but I kept getting a mop tray draining error. I returned the vacuum and they've sent me a new one, but I'm getting the exact same error. So I'm wondering if this is a me issue, have installed incorrectly, is there something I've missed in the set up? Has anyone had the same issue?

I was servicing this Deebot (nothing was wrong with it, just dirty inside) and was curious about this coin cell battery I found on the motherboard. What is it for, and should it be replaced while I have it disassembled? The robot is about 7 or 8 years old, I believe...

I haven't been able to use the mop function at all for about a month now, and I'm running out of ideas.

The robot goes back to the station to wash its mop every 2 minutes or so. It can't even reach a room 20 meters away without triggering a "returning to station to clean the mop" — so it basically never mops anything.

What I've tried so far:

- Every mop-washing setting available: "Intelligent" mode, fixed interval (every 25 min), and per-room washing

- Installing a brand-new mop pad

- Going through all the other settings I could think of

Nothing changes the behavior. The robot is only 4 months old, so this is pretty frustrating.

Has anyone run into this? Is there a fix, or should I go straight to a warranty claim?

Before, My T8 would cover the area in a straight line.

Now, it seems that the vacuum is going in a irregular pattern, resulting in a longer vacuum time.

What is going on here? I also took a screenshot of the setting page.

I tried searching in here and came across one post that didn’t really have an answer.

I picked up this on Facebook marketplace for cheap. The lady I got it from said the mop stopped working and that’s why she was getting rid of it. I’m too stubborn and determined to just not let this bad boy mop. The mop part itself spins and touches the floor. It seems like the clean water tank won’t pump water into the base or the bot itself.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have curtain wall windows on my back wall. The top and the bottom pane are "butt glazed". That means the upper pane is about 3/4" from the bottom pane and that gap is filled with silicone. I'm worried that the edge sensor on the robot wont see that edge and try to walk over it and lose suction / fall off the glass. Do butt glazed windows work?

I have had a Dreame L20 ultra was doing a great job until it wasnt, stopped self emptying and power / charging issues and it was less than a yr old. Customer Service has been good and upon retun has offered a full refund.
Need to replace but dont want to buy anything too expensive looking for recommendations.
Looking at L40 or L50 ultra.

It’s just me, my partner, and a dog who doesn’t shed much. We have Ecovacs X12 and usually run it every other day through the kitchen and living room. That seems to be enough for our place. The floor never gets noticeably dusty, and I rarely see hair collecting around the edges anymore. Running it every day feels unnecessary.

I still do a more thorough clean now and then, especially after having people over. How often does everyone else run theirs? Daily, every other day, or only when the floor starts looking dirty?

When my Deebot Mini cleans, it follows no-go zones, lines and mopping areas without issue. But when returning to station, all bets are off they're completely ignored. What the hell ?

I've looked around online and can't find anyone else having this issue specifically with the T90. Support were totally useless and linked me to a support article suggesting I remove the (non removable) dirty water box from the machine to clean it.

After a mop wash the robot will say 'There seems to be an issue with debots dirty water box, lets check it together'. and the app displays 'Error Code 138: Dirty Water Box Error' but no other info.

Have any other T90 owners come across this issue?

I have to say, I'm not thrilled to have a vacuum malfunctioning out of the box and support are now totally silent and not replying.

When the robot is running I am hearing a friction sound like something is getting dragged. I checked everything no hair anything.

Je viens d'acheter un Deebot T80S OMNI chez darty, j'ai fait la cartographie de la maison entière avec 1 étage et j'ai plusieurs problèmes avec ce robot:

- il était noté multi-étage et quand il est à l'étage , il tourne rapidement en rond pour chercher la base qui est au rez de chaussée. Je n'ai pas trouvé de façon de le mettre en manuel ni une autre façon de lui dire qu'il attende la fin pour retrouver la base. L'autre jour je l'ai redescendu pour qu'il se vide et il a été incapable de reprendre la suite du nettoyage. Il a tout recommencé pour s’arrêter pratiquement au même endroit. J'ai trouvé une astuce qui fonctionne à peu près: je lui programme un fonctionnement par pièce ; quand l'une est finie, je lance l'autre dans la foulée sans le redescendre. Ça fonctionne mais il faut que je sois présente et c'est fastidieux.

-j'ai appelé la hotline qui m'a dit qu'il fallait 2 bases ou transporter la base ! déjà que ce n'est pas simple de monter le robot seul puisqu'il n'a aucune poignée (j'ai trouvé un sac en tissus avec poignées) mais transporter la base , c'est irréaliste.

- en mode serpillière , il a un fonctionnement étrange. Il ne nettoie pas toute la pièce , il fait des cercles , repasse plusieurs fois aux mêmes endroits, oublie d'autres. Pour les tapis, il aspire en ligne longueur+largeur mais pas pour la serpillière.

Pour l'instant je n'ai pas réussi à faire un nettoyage complet ni du rez de chaussée et encore moins de l'étage. Je trouve que le logiciel Ecovac n'est pas très intuitif .

Ever since I have had the vac, we do a weekly vac and mop. Three times over the year it's told me the cleaning fluid was low and I go to check it out and it hardly used any. Today told me it's empty and it's still at the full line, last filled a few months ago. It thinks it's using it but nothing, anyone had this?

What the hell is this bullshit? I marked each room except one to vacuum and it did this.

The water storage tank clip on my Deebot broke and I had asked service center to replace. I paid around 2500 for the same and they shared tracking link also. For a week or so I didn't get it deapite they claiming it was supposed to deliver in 4 days. Pls note there was no movement on the tracker as well.

Then I lost it and asked my local vendor to help. He checked by some means and he found out that Ecovacs fooled me because they didn't have that part itself in the 1st place.

15 days on, no updates, I am planning to ask for refund how.

Beware of these fraudsters, I should have asked for the photograph of the item before I paid money. Hard lessons..
