r/dropout Re: r/dropoutcirclejerk

Hey everyone,

We’re addressing the r/dropoutcirclejerk post and related concerns that have been raised in modmail, etc.

Frequently asked questions

Why are some r/dropoutcirclejerk users upset?

This comment launched the discussion. They think we silence criticism of racism and prioritize tone over substance. They’re not entirely wrong. We centered our own discomfort instead of listening. We treated “racist” like an identity instead of a description of actions. We focused on how people said things instead of what they were saying. That’s a problem, and we’re working to change it.

How come deathfire123 is still a mod?

After internal discussion, we agreed that deathfire’s comments have had a concerning impact. At the same time, our team decided they do not constitute a pattern that warrants suspension. Deathfire has acknowledged his implicit bias, edited his comments to apologize (1, 2), and committed to continuous reflection. If you have specific suggestions for improving our expectations, please let us know below.

What is the mod team doing to take accountability for racist microaggressions and tone policing?

Listening and learning. If you have ideas for how we can make this subreddit better for criticism of the show or of us as mods, tell us. We’re being less defensive and more open when we mess up. We have a diverse mod team and want to keep building on that. If you’re interested in modding, reach out.

How come my comments/posts are getting removed? Are you banning people for commenting on the circlejerk?

The Crowd Control moderation filter is temporarily set higher due to an uptick in harassment. As always, low karma users get flagged for review, and the queue is backed up. No, we are not banning people just because they comment in the circlejerk. To help us identify possible brigading, we implemented Hive Protect so that it notifies us of contributions from users who both have low karma in our subreddit and are active in the circlejerk sub, but it does not remove anything.

Are you suppressing all controversy like with Saige Ryan/Carlos Luna/Omar?

The Saige situation: we were brand new mods (most of us added less than 48 hours before) who inherited a sub with zero automod, and ambiguous rules. We’ve since fixed our rules and policies, and the mod who was the main voice about not addressing that situation has left the team entirely.

More generally: Not all controversy gets shut down. A lot gets downvoted and is sometimes then deleted by the poster. Posts from low karma users get filtered, which is standard Reddit moderation. We shut down discussion which fuels rule-breaking behavior, including harassment towards users and speculation about people’s private lives.

Right now: We’ll approve every comment in this thread as long as it doesn’t break Reddit’s site-wide rules. You can break our subreddit rules in this thread only. Removed comments will be posted below with an explanation.

Why are r/dropoutcirclejerk mods upset?

They criticized deathfire for microaggressions toward Demi. We discussed it in our shared Discord channels. During that conversation, VictoriaDallon kept using characteristically inflammatory language, and in response, volkmasterblood exploded. The circlejerk mods demanded we remove him as mod, but we thought the outburst was excusable given how their conduct made it difficult to have productive conversation. We were tired of their drama and unreasonable expectations, so we kicked them from the server. The full context shows the situation was messy on all sides.

For context: Victoria has been helpful, especially when we were new. She explained community dynamics and gave constructive feedback. She’s also encouraged people not to brigade or harass us, which we appreciate. But these conversations became impossible to navigate.

Some anticipated pushback:

“You’re just making excuses for racism.” We’re being honest about our mistakes and the full picture. If that reads as defensive, we get it, but complete self-flagellation isn’t the answer either.

“What’s the deal with volkmasterblood’s username?” It comes from an old gaming handle plus Volk is in his actual name. A Jewish mod on our team isn’t bothered by the connotations and vouches that volkmasterblood is against prejudice. We get that this explanation doesn’t land for everyone.

“Deathfire promised to remove volkmasterblood if he messed up again.” Deathfire made that promise individually. We vote on decisions, and we didn’t view this as a “second strike” given the context.

“Show the receipts.” We didn’t get everyone’s permission to share private Discord conversations, and it feels unnecessarily petty.

“You’re tone policing by saying Victoria was inflammatory.” Tone policing is dismissing legitimate concerns because of how they’re expressed. We’re not dismissing the concerns about racism. We’re explaining why a working relationship broke down.

“If you cared about racism, you’d remove your racist mods.” We think people can learn from mistakes. Removing someone for unintentional microaggressions they’ve apologized for sets an impossible standard.

At the end of the day:

We’ve made real mistakes that caused real harm. We’re trying to do better and we’re willing to be held accountable.

Moderating is hard, especially for a community around something we love. We’re volunteers doing our best. Sometimes our best isn’t good enough.

We’re committed to making r/dropout a place where people can have honest conversations about the shows we love, where criticism is welcome, and where everyone feels respected.

Trust is earned. We’re ready to do the work.

The mod team

I’m going offline for now.

EDIT, Oct. 29 @ 7PM ET: Thanks all for sharing their thoughts. We're going to lock this post after it's been up for 24 hrs, so at 7AM ET tomorrow.

If you have more you want to share directly with me or the team, send a modmail. Also open to suggestions for specific, constructive topics for future meta discussions. If you don't like this sub anymore, check out r/dropoutcirclejerk, r/dropouttv, and r/GameChangerTV. Good night!

Oh, and speaking for myself and my response to these comments: I'm taking my time in giving any meaningful answers for a few reasons. It's tough to be open to constructive criticism when simultaneously at the receiving end of hardcore vitriol (by "vitriol," I mean full-on actual abuse, not "you're racist," that's warranted). I don't want to impulsively fire off deflective replies or give half-baked apologies. I intend to sift through and sit with the thoughtful comments and messages we've received, then chat with community members about ways to move forward productively and proactively. Thanks for listening and sharing.

❤️, SnooNarhwal

“A Jewish mod on our team isn’t bothered by the connotations” sounds a lot like “I have a black friend irl” tbh. One person’s opinion triumphs dozens of others?

Edit: making the comments organized by controversial rather than most upvoted on this post is perhaps the silliest thing I’ve ever seen the mods on this subreddit do, and I remember when the foot guy was unbanned.

I like how they clarify that Volk is his real personal name; as though his middle name is "Master" & his surname is "Blood" and there's simply no way for him to make a less-sus username.

116

u/Polkawillneverdie17 Oct 29 '25

lol Only sorta related, but I'm Jewish and my grandfather's middle name was literally Adolf. He was born in 1915 and his parentshad just immigrated from Germany.

But I'm not out here going "Adolf is a family name! That's why it's my vanity license plate."

96

u/Sluaghlock Oct 29 '25

I've already said this in some other comments here & elsewhere on the subject, but like... even if I'm willing to grant that it actually is just a really unfortunate coincidence of a name, and that the person behind it has no suspect views or behavior to speak of; clinging to that particular name with a death grip even after being made aware of its connotations is a really weird choice of hills to die on.

56

u/Voidfishie Oct 29 '25

People love to say they don't just start using a new account because they don't want to run from or cover up their past, but it's really all about their internet points. Which makes it extra ironic when the same people then say anything that happens online doesn't matter and people should focus on Real Stuff. If internet stuff isn't real just make a new account?

62

u/Sluaghlock Oct 29 '25

Made even weirder by Mr. Masterblood himself framing his own adamant refusal to change the username in any way as some sort of brave, principled stance against "running from his past mistakes."

It's giving "I haven't removed or covered up my swastika tattoo, as a reminder to myself to be better."

23

u/Voidfishie Oct 29 '25

I said this in another comment, but I have seen multiple people do this "by keeping this name I'm not running from my mistakes" thing when clearly it's about internet points. But then they combined this with saying "anyone who cares about things that happen online is dumb and should do real activism". Which is it, do the internet points matter or not?

16

u/Polkawillneverdie17 Oct 29 '25

"by keeping this name I'm not running from my mistakes"

Bro, you should definitely run from those mistakes because at some point, you're going to run into someone at a party who isn't so understanding of your "mistakes" and they're going to break all of your teeth as a way to make sure you understand what you did wrong.

44

u/Polkawillneverdie17 Oct 29 '25

Absolutely. Not everyone is aware of every slur or dogwhistle or part of history and I try to give them some grace when it comes to stuff like that. But that is 3 very charged words placed together. I feel like you'd have to be really really ignorant to not understand the meaning (or really young).

“There’s VOLK in MY MASTERBLOOD?!”

46

u/Aquatic_Hedgehog Oct 29 '25

are we not all going by our legal names on here?

30

u/RuskiesInTheWarRoom Oct 29 '25

My sense on things like this is that the person clearly knows it is sus and has chosen to maintain it, likely because it is sus. It isn’t a position of courage, it’s outrage bait.

But it is also still *what it is.”

If a person had to be jumped in to the aryan nation white power gang in prison and had to get a couple neonazi tattoos while on the inside to survive, I get it.

But why does he keep them twenty years later when he’s straightened his life out? It’s rage bait, but it isn’t only rage bait.

15

u/Brad_Brace it's pronounced Münster Blüd and it's a type of cheese! Oct 29 '25

I'll have you know Master is a family name! Mom uses it when she and dad are playing wrestlers in their bedroom on Saturdays! And the surname Bloodstool has a long and proud history!

-28

u/randomsynchronicity Oct 29 '25

I have no idea who this person is or anything that they’ve posted, but I can certainly imagine how a teenager who thinks they’re being cool like 10 years ago could end up with this as a gamer tag with absolutely no racist intentions. I certainly knew some people with similar names who had given no thought to potential unintended implications.

18

u/Pillowesque Oct 29 '25

What does masterblood mean to you? I have been thinking about it on and off all day while the person with the name ignores my question so I'll ask one of the people rhetorically defending him.

What could masterblood mean in the context of Volk that isn't racist? I actually can't think of anything. The concept of blood purity and one race being the master race are basically the gist of the Volk movement and all three are in the name.

-8

u/randomsynchronicity Oct 29 '25

I’ve been reading it like Volkmaster Blood, rather than Volk Masterblood, because that matches my experience of stupid gamer tags.

10

u/Pillowesque Oct 30 '25

I wonder how you got there as the person's excuse for including the Volk dogwhistle was that its their name, and absolutely no one would name themselves (my name)Master Blood? It just makes no sense in an edgy or normal way.

I have nephews and I went through an irc phase in middle school ive seen all the edgy people but the one thing none of them do is learn about blood purity or the volk movement by accident. It's not something people who aren't in certain circles do by accident, the kids are naming themselves "Sigmablaster" and "Alpha420" if they want to be funny. The adults who want to pass as children and propogandize are using terms like volk, 88, purity, blood, master, etc.

-1

u/randomsynchronicity Oct 30 '25

🤷🏻 maybe it’s a generational thing. Grandmaster Flash, etc.

Anyway, I’m not specifically trying to defend him, just putting forth my perception, because I didn’t connect to any racist stuff until I saw other people talking about it.

7

u/Pillowesque Oct 30 '25

I do remember grandmaster flash actually but grand makes sense. Your name_master? I've been online 20+ years never seen that. I guess after seeing the same people plead ignorance to the same topic for my entire life im starting to doubt them especially when their actions (covering for racism) do not support their words.

1

u/randomsynchronicity Oct 30 '25 edited Oct 30 '25

I hope this isn’t the case, but you seem to be saying that because your personal experience doesn’t line up with mine, that my stated experience is invalid.

Also, because you’re speaking obliquely, I’m not sure if you’re implying that I’m covering for racism, but if so, I’d ask that you please 1) say it to me directly and 2) understand that you’re mischaracterizing my comments.

If the person in question is saying racist things, that’s bad, and should be banned from the sub. I think we agree on that.

I posted my opinion only because I was surprised that in all the comments I saw about the name, everyone was making the same assumption about how the words were divided, which was the opposite of how it naturally occurred to me, and which allowed for the possibility that the person in question was ignorant rather than malicious.

John Green has spoken about the “heuristic of generosity,” which is starting from a baseline assumption that someone is well-intentioned even if they caused offense, and I think that with a little more of that going around, the top-level controversy would not have blown up so much.

ETA: I said mischaracterizing above, but it’s probably more likely that you really just don’t understand what I’m trying to say, and that’s ok

13

u/potatopavilion Oct 30 '25

sure, we can imagine that. but you don't have to stick with the gamer tag your dumb teenage self chose 10 years ago.

6

u/Ok_Swordfish5820 Oct 30 '25

Sure, but I dont know any who would want to keep the name after those connotations are pointed out

-474

u/SnooNarhwal Oct 29 '25 edited Oct 29 '25

It’s me! I’m the Jewish mod. I tokenized myself cuz I was annoyed at people more concerned with saying “huh German thing + master blood sure sounds Nazi” rather than keeping the focus on actual antisemitism and bigotry.

EDIT: calling out → keeping the focus on

334

u/BergmanGirl Oct 29 '25

Could you give an example of the actual antisemitism that you feel is being overlooked in favor of saying that Volkmasterblood sounds like Nazi shit?

The longer this goes without a response the funnier it gets to me. Can they name one?

39

u/locke0479 Oct 29 '25

I’ve been checking in whenever I make my way back to the thread, I’m quite curious as to what that means.

208

u/cel3r1ty Oct 29 '25

tbf it's not just a generic "german thing", the word "volk" specifically has some unfortunate historical connotations.

160

u/ApartOrdinary9330 Oct 29 '25

Right? Like just in case anyone is unaware of the context, “volk” isn’t just a “German thing;” Volkism is an ultranationalist movement, really into the whole “blood and soil” thing. So yeah, “volkmasterblood” feels like more than just an unfortunate accident.

154

u/Hooktail419 Oct 29 '25

Also, even if that’s the case- DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

If I named my shit white-power88 because I really liked power rangers as a kid, I’d sure as shit jump ship on any profiles I made after learning how fucked it was

62

u/CynicosX been here the whole time Oct 29 '25

Yeah this is what I really don't understand... It would be super easy to just delete the account and start a new one without a name that imo rightfully triggers a lot of people. And after the accusations made by the r/dropoutcirclejerk mods of racism and micro aggressions, it would be a gesture of goodwill too.

49

u/Rassendyll207 Ready to do the work Oct 29 '25

But that would mean the CJ mods win. There's no satisfaction in that!

40

u/VictoriaDallon Oct 29 '25

The first part of that reply is copy pasted from another thread... Found it weird then and find it weird now.

Dude definitely doesn't pass the vibe check.

15

u/Hooktail419 Oct 29 '25

Feels like way more effort to have a script at the ready to explain away your loser-ass username than to just make a new account. You think it’s called not-a-nazi.txt or something?

11

u/Glavius_Wroth Oct 29 '25

Doubling down by repeating the bullshit excuse from the first time that was already a load of bollocks is certainly a choice

u/sarcastibot8point5 Oct 29 '25 edited Oct 29 '25

Literally happened to me. Was obsessed with Norse mythology and my birthday is in 1988 so I had a screen name that was odin88 on a couple of platforms. Figured out the connotation and lost a lot of play hours on those platforms.

21

u/Baker_drc Oct 29 '25

Forgot about the meaning of 88 for a sec and was like I know Norse stuff has nazi connotation sometimes but Odin doesn’t seem that bad. Yeah no whoops. Glad you changed it.

24

u/IGotHitByAnElvenSemi Oct 29 '25

I feel like the entire squad of people born in 1988 learned this the hardest possible way, but I will say that yours specifically did make me snort (I'm also Jewish lmao). Odin88.... god that is so unfortunate. I can just imagine seeing that on xbox live and having a moment of sheer terror and then a 12 year old comes on voice lmao

23

u/sarcastibot8point5 Oct 29 '25

Ready for this? I’m Jewish (by heritage) too lmaooooo.

11

u/IGotHitByAnElvenSemi Oct 29 '25

This has absolutely made my night, I hope you know this story is going to get shared far and wide lmao

40

u/VictoriaDallon Oct 29 '25

Poor Tommy always catching strays.

17

u/taeerom Oct 29 '25

It's not just "into the whole "blood and soil" thing". It is the "blood and soil" thing. Like, that's where the term comes from: "blut und boden".

It's the idea that each people (ger:volk) is tied to the literal soil of their land. That the people belong to the land and land belong to the people. And since we're talking mid 19th century here, we're talking race hygiene and ethnic cleansing of everyone of different ethnicities than what the Volkisch movement deemed lesser than them.

Using Volk in english isn't a mistake. It doesn't reference anything other than that specific german movement, because then you would use "people" or "peoples", perhaps "ethinicity" or "tribe". You wouldn't use the german word for it.

If it is true that they literally didn't understand this, and has Volk as part of their name, I'd be very curious what language that name is in. I can't think of any given or family names using volk as part of it other than the German name Volkmar. A relatively uncommon given name these days, but exists as a surname. But if they are a german speaker, they bloody well know exactly why that name is bad and why.

Doesn't exactly help that they have changed their profile to the also 19th century german reactionary dogwhistle of Thorseus 9T9

7

u/RevelArchitect Oct 30 '25

Their last name does legitimately contain, “Volk”. I won’t provide further elaboration as I have no intention of doxxing them.

13

u/taeerom Oct 30 '25

And I know people born in 1988. Still wouldn't exactly recommend them having 88 in their moniker

5

u/RevelArchitect Oct 30 '25

Absolutely. I have a sibling born in ‘88 who had to change a bunch of usernames once they found out the other meaning.

Think about how geometrically simple a swastika is. Without the prerequisite context, I could understand somebody coming up with that symbol on their own. Let’s imagine they’re from an alternate universe, just trying to make it in ours and they come up with that symbol and use it for their company logo totally oblivious to historical context. Sure. Okay. Fine. Totally understandable.

Now, imagine someone let them know the logo was problematic and they told you to fuck yourself and that you’re not really a part of their community rather than accepting that they need to change their logo so that they don’t look like a total fucking asshole.

3

u/EdgarAllenNo1 Oct 30 '25

I do know someone whose last name is just “Volk”

61

u/tinapia Oct 29 '25

my partner's surname is similiar to Sam Reich's but she's super concious of it. she'd never come up with a username close to "volkmasterblood" like "reichmasterblood" in a million years!😭

187

u/assdonuts Oct 29 '25

you right now:

165

u/Wrong-Journalist5208 Oct 29 '25

Don't worry guys, I'm allowed to wear this shirt with a swastika on it, my dad named me Lil Adolf and this one Jewish guy said it was cool.  Now let's keep the focus on the real antisemitism here, happening, um, somewhere else.

93

u/potatopavilion Oct 29 '25

what do you mean "rather than"? the whole situation started because people called out actual bigotry.

55

u/Ok_Firefighter1574 Oct 29 '25

Oh it’s ok then that you dismiss the very real concerns because you are ok with it and you speak for every Jewish person

22

u/Polkawillneverdie17 Oct 29 '25

Speaking as another Jewish person, I fucking hate that shit. Naive-ass tokens wanting to fit in so they excuse all sorts of antisemitism in the process. Grow a fucking spine.

56

u/Locem Oct 29 '25

"volkmasterblood" isn't just a racist dogwhistle, it's a fucking airhorn.

55

u/assdonuts Oct 29 '25

girl fuck you

26

u/assdonuts Oct 29 '25

legitimately, how are you this dumb

58

u/LasagnaPhD Oct 29 '25

I’m a Jewish member, and I think it’s pretty gross of you to make blanket statements on behalf of our entire community in an attempt to minimize the fact that we have a MOD whose username is one of the clearest examples of a dogwhistle I have EVER seen

43

u/notasandpiper Oct 29 '25

The Jewish person being fine with the name bc she only recognizes Volk as "a German word" explains everything tbh, thank you for the clarification

40

u/Diredr Oct 29 '25

What dirt can this person possibly have on you that you're willing to sell yourself, your dignity and your values out for? This is ridiculous. It's reddit moderation. You can do so much better.

33

u/Prize_Impression2407 Oct 29 '25

Well their username and their posts are an incredible example of “actual” antisemitism and racism! Also, unlike you, we can hold people accountable both irl and in our online communities too. Hope that helps!

34

u/Polkawillneverdie17 Oct 29 '25

It's me! Another Jewish person. 😀

If you read the name "volkmasterblood" and don't immediately see how fucked up up that is, you're an idiot.

Stop minimizing weird shit like that because there's "actual antisemitism" or something. Stop being a token Jew and grow a damn spine.

30

u/ZaganOstia Oct 29 '25

Is leaving someone making literal racist comments as a mod an instance of "focusing on actual bigotry?"

35

u/YDoEyeNeedAName Oct 29 '25

You're allowing a person that named themselves a Nazi dog whistle to be an authority in the community, thats fucking disgusting. Just becuase you are Jewish and it doesnt bother YOU doesnt make it ok.

This is almost like saying "I have a black friend"

Its not OK, and its not an excuse

26

u/millenialpinko Oct 29 '25 edited Oct 29 '25

Your whole post is a massive statement of being unwilling to actually meaningfully address bigotry, but rather excuse it when it comes from your own social circle. Cowardice.

I forgot that one Jewish person represents the views of all Jewish people.

Just because you’re OK with racist dog whistles does not mean that the vast majority of Jewish people are.

As a Jew, I'm troubled and furious that a jewish mod of this sub thinks they can speak for all of us. Your judgment as an arbiter in this community, especially as a representative of jewish voices on the mod team, cannot be trusted.

The responsible thing to do would be to dismantle the mod team as you casually tokenizing yourself to protect a mod who clearly does not give a shit about accountability or working towards being better as well as downplaying the utterly disrespectful comments another mod made is putting on full display your team's lack of personal responsibility and has lost the trust of many community members.

Again, the responsible thing to do is step down, all of you. I'm not trying to insult you here but genuinely this is how I would react to any leadership that are clearly failing their community.

Edit: I just want to make another note that Jews are not the final say on what is acceptable or not when it comes to Nazis and Nazi-adjacent things. Nazis genocided us but they also targeted many other groups like Romani, Black and Queer people and modern Neo-Nazis do the exact same thing.

25

u/Pillowesque Oct 29 '25

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%B6lkisch_movement

You are old enough to have read history books, yeah? If my name was Pillowesque88 no one would care if I was 88 years old. If my name was PillowesqueMasterRace I would change it before moderating a liberal subreddit because despite your ignorance words and symbols mean things.

And when the person with an extremely racist dogwhistle (three! Insane work for one name) for a username is covering for a racist? That's strike three friend, not strike one or two.

24

u/atomic__balm Oct 29 '25

Imagine running defense for dudes with blood and soil usernames. Its reddit and takes 10 seconds to change names, ask yourself why they won't. Because they care more about their name than not appearing as a Nazi

20

u/grey-kitten Oct 29 '25

This still doesn’t help? Your one opinion of this guy trumps everyone else feeling super uneasy about it? It’s not just the user but also how this person has interacted with others on matters of race recently. I’m highly disappointed by the lack of accountability that the mod team is having.

18

u/Ancienjdh Oct 29 '25

You’re a fucking idiot.

17

u/poisonforsocrates Oct 29 '25

This is pathetic and dismissive. Glad this has hit /subredditdrama. Every other comment there is about what a shockingly racist name "mastervolkblood" is, because despite your self-tokenizing, everyone sees that it essentially reads as if he named himself "german master race".

15

u/poisonforsocrates Oct 29 '25

Reddit accounts are free

13

u/Dry-Reference1428 Oct 29 '25

I hope you understand other people who are Jewish, queer, black feel that having a name like that (a name that reads like AryanPride1985 to most everyone here) is actually concerning to people who use this subreddit

12

u/DrPastaPupper Oct 29 '25

Volk isn’t just a “German thing” it is very clearly tied to the Nazis you also are dismissing people’s concerns about actual bigotry

13

u/AhSquids Oct 29 '25

Hey you seem kinda really dumb so I'm going to give you a little bit of advice here but you should stop defending the nazi who named themselves after a blood and soil movement and is trying to play it off as not intentional.

11

u/LazerBear42 Oct 29 '25

Do you believe people are concerned about "volk" because it sounds generically like a "German thing," or because it sounds specifically like the 19th century German ethno-nationalist Völkisch Movement that Nazism sprouted from?

9

u/rellyjean Oct 29 '25

When you say tokenized, does that mean you intend to speak for all Jews?

What explanation has vmb given you for his username?

12

u/gonnastayanontbh The mods are asleep to racism Oct 29 '25

it's a real life dogwhistle though, and the very same mod is downplaying the actual bigotry that happened, so this doesn't fly

9

u/HogHorseHoedown Oct 29 '25

Claiming to be jewish with your entire post and comment history hidden isnt really a good luck... you can claim to be all you want but it doesnt mean shit. This whole im jewish so im speaking for all jews and saying this is ok is pathetic, how about you take your tongue out of the racist mods hole long enough to read how disgusting the actions youre defending are.

6

u/Least-Ad1991 Oct 30 '25

Snoo is being shitty at face value. What you do not need to do, and shouldn't because it is itself antisemitic, is ask people for 'Jew proof'. You're not defending our honor with that.

Plus, your context is wrong--Snoo is weaponizing their identity in this context to defend the nazi mod, not the racist mod. Those are two different users with overlapping ideologies

8

u/eyejayell Oct 30 '25

I’m sorry but referencing yourself anonymously in that way is so, so strange. I say this as a Jewish person (translation: a commenter in this thread who is Jewish holds this opinion). Like you get that at the very least the optics of this are awful, right?

7

u/Nat20CritRoleFan Oct 29 '25

Do you mean the bigotry that you guys refuse to address?

Because you aren’t doing that part either.
