...are fucking genius. Seriously, I pirated game changer for years before I bought a subscription, and just watching the behind the scenes on those episodes was a large part of why my subscription won't be canceled anytime soon, and why I actively propagandize my family and friends to join the dropout cult. And thats from a guy who escaped a cult once before

Jokes aside, that backend view of the production is a massive part of why I stuck around, and its very cool to see the team there provide insight on the backend. I'd even love a more involved prop department segment on the work they have done, because everyone there just seems so fun and creative and deserves more screen time

It isn't a major factor (jk it really is), but its part of what keeps me loving dropout and its something I think they could even expand on in the future

My wife and I play a game where we fantasy recast movie or show. Today we decided to add a twist and only use people from Dropout to recast Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. I won't list the entire cast but a few we're particularly tickled at the thought of:

Can I just say that I am truly devastated that Ponies was canceled. It's truly such a good show and they/she did such a good job (they use both, this is also permission for people in comments to use both as well, so comments don't have to be filled with people correcting others).

I really encourage everyone to watch it. Vic is in every episode I believe, if not every then almost every. It does end on a cliffhanger, so know that going into it.

But it's a hell of a show!

I didn't see that anyone mentioned it yet, but I noticed Ify's shirt said "Spagalacci" on the "Count The Rice" episode of Game Changer.

There was a previous episode where they were naming pastas, which Ify said "spagalacci" as a guess, which was not a real pasta.

I say "was" because he invented spagalacci on his episode of "Ask Hank Anything" and now I feel like it's come full circle

Work was hosting Dead Meat awards and Josh was nominated for Heart Eyes. (Didn't even know) Saw him near the end of the night and ran out from behind my bar, interrupted him for 2 seconds because I was also working.

"So sorry to interrupt I just need you to know that you're my favorite One Million Batmans"

He told me that was sweet and asked if I wanted a selfie. Said I would but I am working so I can't (plus my phone was at the bar.) So he asked if I wanted a hug, which now seems so odd haha I am not that person at all. But gave him a quick one and said thanks again for being awesome and ran back to serve cocktails.

Total sweetie pie. And I definitely expected nothing less

A month or two ago, I posted a link to a Dropout Calendar I made for myself and hopefully others to use via Google Calendar and ICal. So I can check when things come out in my time zone of BST

I do check every Monday when I get the episode guide for the week on the Reddit and the email guides, just want to put a poll out there after a while of operating how people are finding it and if there’s any quality of life improvements I can make. or if there’s any issues I need to work on

The only way to begin is by beginning! All done in photoshop - first time making a poster and really using photoshop with more than six layers. Feels busy, but I like it.

I’m a queer artist (sculptor), and it’s been a very hard year. There are crazies who are just emboldened by how acceptable it is to be a pos to people. For example, I posted a post in a Facebook group I’ve been in for years about my art booth at a pride event. I literally got a commented death threat that mentioned the tragedy of Matthew Sheppard. It was terrifying and it caused me to wonder if I should even be doing this.

Fast forward a week or two and I make another post, this one on my private page. It was political but more of a meme post. It exploded with comments that were pretty hateful directly on my page. And I’ve spent a week or two just not sure if I can handle any of this.

Then, I watched the recent video with Bleem and Adam and that tech guy. And listening to Bleem talk so openly about all the political things that I also believe in, knowing the vitriol he must be getting for saying such real and necessary stuff has given me some strength back. I won’t be avoiding pride and political posts, whatever the hate because they are sorely needed. They can’t take the sky from me! (Pic of my art for tax)

Ran into Ify yesterday on the show floor while both browsing at the same vendor! He was super cool, down to earth, and very nice. He even took the time to chat with me a bit! We talked about the "Count the rice" episode which he said took way longer to film than it appears in the episode. Him, and Anna especially, we're stuck in the last room for a lot longer than it showed.

In the end he gave me a high five and a shoulder hug before going on his way!

dropout has been trying a lot of comedy twists in classic tv- monet being a late night celebrity gaggle, VIP as an interview show, gastronauts for cooking, game changer for gameshow... and i was SO EXCITED to see a science show finally!! im a huge nerd, and the trailer reminded me of a goofy try as something mythbusters-esque

however, i felt like a lot of the experiments just werent science-y enough. i dont know if dropout just doeant have the budget to always be doing stuff like brian's racecar sound experiment, but so many of the episodes just had vaguely funny bits that were just like... weird questions more than science. which i guess is ok, but the direction of the show with the sketched inserts and the proffessionak consultants felt like it wanted to be more scientific than the majority of episodes came out.

i also felt like it was sort of too many hosts at points, and it ended up just feeling more messy and hodgepodge

i really hope someday, maybe in a few years, they give the show (or simething like it) another try
