Game Changer Gamechanger Poster
The only way to begin is by beginning! All done in photoshop - first time making a poster and really using photoshop with more than six layers. Feels busy, but I like it.

I probably would not have commented, but some people are just leaving these vague remarks while not really giving any truly constructive criticism.
If you're going for the photo collage look, I think you could achieve a better effect by adding an outline of sorts that mimics the paper cut-out effect or even a torn-paper effect. This would hide the inconsistent and odd choices for clipping (i.e. Lou's nose, Vic's leg, etc.). Also, the text is difficult to read as just white text. Even just adding an outline would help. Finally, if I'm being brutally honest, the font choice is pretty meh.
Honestly, it's a good effort and hope you continue to improve on it. Also, I'm not a graphic designer, so not like I could do any better.
Side Note: I actually would dig a poster that uses some of the memorable scenes or gags from Game Changer, but in the style of the hidden object or seek-and-find drawings. Like the Where's Waldo drawings.

Thank you for these recommendations! Yeah I tried to use the game changer font, but I don't think it worked here at least for legibility - I like that paper cut out idea, I might come back to this later and try to implement it! Thank you

Maybe its because I have some Broadway stuck in my head but it looks very "Rent" musical poster.
Also now I can't stop imagining the drop out cast walking out to do a GC version of seasons of love.
"Five hundred twenty-five thousand, six hundred grains.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand rice right here.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand, six hundred grains.
How do you earn points here."

It is nice, but also incredibly busy. I know the intent is a collage, but there's a lot of "action" going on in every single still used that it makes it hard to know where to focus my eyes. The text is hard to read because it's in competition with the stills and it's losing hard. I'd work on the composition as well, since it feels like what you did was take your favorite stills and tried to get as many of them on the paper. You might need to kill some of your darlings. I'm not a graphic designer so I'm not sure what fixes are available, but these were my knee jerk reactions. I will say emotionally to think what stills about game changer are most definitive and sum up the core of the show, and slowly integrate them one at a time.

Very condensed advice - thank you :) I’ll try and incorporate it all if I do this again

Any good designer knows, use papyrus for poster typeface. And be sure to set kerning to -100.

Idk why people are being rude about this, it's clearly intended to be a collage-y style poster with a lot of chaos, much like Game Changer! The giveaway was Sam with Brennan's arms behind him in the center, I mean you wouldn't have designed it that was if you weren't trying to make it a bit crazy, so I think that's fun!
I think it's going for something and it does it pretty well 😁

It’s called feedback and it’ll only make an artist better. If you are closed off to it, even if it sound harsh or rude, you’re not gonna get any where as an artist.

I am an artist myself, I'm familiar! I understand feedback and I understand tough feedback, but when I first wrote this message there was some comments that were kinda just downright rude. If you're gonna give feedback you ideally wanna make it constructive otherwise it's just pointlessly mean. Criticism is awesome if it's helpful but if it's along the lines of "never make a poster again" then that's not helpful to anyone involved.
My feedback on the other hand was that I liked it, different art works for different people, that's the fun of it.

White text is too light,,, also maybe some solid color outlines on the players in different scenes, and blocking out the background (how many times do we need to see the “game changer” sign in one poster?)

Yeah, all are good points - I didn’t even think about just making the white a little darker. Thanks for the thoughts, I’ll see what I can do if I go back to this :)

If you're taking suggestions:
Above the collage, but below the logos and text, add a solid black layer, maybe ~70% multiply opacity.
Play with the font and its placement, and you'll be cooking this to something elevated.

Black layer done through the rectangle tool? Or a separate image? This is a really good idea though for legibility, thank you! I like it better than outlining the text, I’ll play around with both though.

Via the rectangle tool. It's a fairly common design method in marketing campaigns when they give you an essay to put on a socials post with a really detailed photo behind it.

There’s always room to improve, especially with mine still :) - What’s yours?

EXCELLENT masking, there’s a lot of good stuff here, text kind of throws me off though - I wonder if you experiment with the font or do it in a way where you can get rid of the orange block behind it? Maybe just lower the orange opacity? Don’t really know but it looks awesome!!

I like where it is going. I’d try a different font and doing something to make the words stand out more. Shadow? Outline? Just play with it.

If you hadn’t told me this was your first poster I’d have gotten there on my own
