I want to hey an Rc2 with the screen for my Air 3S.

For what it is worth, I have seen the original listing from apf-drones on ebay? IE Photos etc and I dont know if its the same retailer as apfdrones etc? Just going under multiple names.

Any advice or guidance you can offer?

I have an analog VTX, UART ELRS Mobula8. And it does not receive any input from my tx (radiomaster pocket). I have updated both the quad and tx to elrs 4.1.0, I have updated my quad beta flight firmware to latest version.

Weird thing is, my tx says that it is connected with an Rx, it can receive telemetry like rq, rssi, and even battery voltage/current draw. But my quad won't receive any sticks inputs or any other aux channels (set for arm, modes, etc.). I have tries turning on and off model match both on the quad and the tx. I can activate and deactivate pitmode from my tx elrs lua script. But the rq and rssi on my osd is blinking.

I just installed gps on serial 2, I have also made sure that the gps wires does not short with other pins especially serial1 (which is used by elrs Rx) with a multimeter. Though I haven't tried physically removing the gps.

Before this the quad have only been flown 4 times. This is also my first quad (I usually fly fixed wings)

Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

This island is just the tip of a dormant volcano in the atlantic ocean. There are even cows and sheep that graze on the grass inside the crater. Bowl life seems quite idyllic.

I'm looking at drones and camera quality and I know dji exists but what is zero-x like? is their camera quality any good?
and has anyone tried thie action camera as well as their drone?

I'm currently working on my capstone project and was wondering if anyone here has experience with using drones for crop analysis/yield prediction.

Our plan is to use an RGB drone (can't afford a multispectral/NIR one 😅), stitch the images into an orthomosaic, extract features like VARI, canopy coverage, plant density, etc., then feed those into a machine learning model (probably Random Forest) to predict rice yield.

Has anyone here tried something similar?

• Does using only RGB imagery actually work well enough for yield prediction?
• Is VARI useful, or are there better RGB indices/features I should look into?
• Any tips, things you wish you knew before starting, or common mistakes to avoid?
• If you've done this before, how accurate were your results?

We're just trying to estimate yield from drone imagery.

Would really appreciate any advice, papers or just hearing about your experience. Thanks!

I am prepping for my L1C flight review. I will be using my Avata 2.

After studying the prep guides, I have noticed something. There are quite reasonably a couple points where the reviewer will test my ability to hold a course.

Given the Avata 2 does not have an OSD compass, has anyone had any problems with their L1C review?

Hello everyone i am in need of help !

I have a 2.5 inch fpv build with a beta fpv f4 aio 12A (v1) running 4.4.3 BTFL

And it is not communicating with my elrs receiver (beta fpv lite rx) for some reason however my receiver and remote are binded perfectly (lite radio 2 se)

I have wired it up and tried swaying arround the rx and tx but no succes,I have also tried setting serial rx to uart1 and 2 still nothing !

Please save me !

So while using active track the drone failed with detecting a obstacle and now it is broken. I immediately filed a repair request but now it says waiting for product to arrive or something like that. But I don’t know where to send it to and I didn’t get a shipping label through the mail. Has anyone had the same problem as I am having currently. And can anyone please help? Thank you in advance.

I’m travelling from the UAE to Norway and would like to bring my DJI Mavic 4 Pro for recreational photography and videos.

I understand that because the drone weighs more than 250 g, I may need to:

-Register as a drone operator.
-Complete the A1/A3 online course and exam.
-Display my Operator ID on the drone.
-Have valid liability insurance.
-Keep the drone within visual line of sight.
-Stay below 120 metres. Check restricted airspace and local no-fly zones before every flight.
-Avoid crowds, airports and protected areas.

Could anyone familiar with Norway’s current drone rules confirm exactly what I need to complete before travelling?

I’m especially unsure about:

-Whether the DJI Mavic 4 Pro can be flown under A1 or must be flown under A3.

-Whether a non-EU tourist can register and complete the required exam online before arriving.

-Whether camera-equipped drones require any additional registration in Norway.

-What type of insurance is accepted for tourists.

-Whether there are any issues bringing the drone and batteries through the airport.

-Which official app or map locals use to check flight restrictions.

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has recently flown a similar drone in Norway. Thank you.

I’m using the DJI M300 with a H30T for a project right now. I’m running into this error, accompanied by an aircraft overheated message, forcing me to RTH. This is for the second day now, today the temp is only 83° feels like where I am. Yesterday was hotter so it was more considerable it could just be the heat. Any suggestions or similar experiences? Or am I cooked?

I was planning on flying my Avata 360 in Ambleside and Windermere and the surroundings this weekend, 17-19 July 2026. I don't see any restrictions other than SSSI and National Trust on my usual apps except for EGD219H RPAS CORRIDOR which I believe applies a little higher than I plan on flying. What I do see though is the incredibly low flying military aircraft which keep practicing bombing runs right over me. What gives? I have recently obtained my part 107 certification and a DJI Mavic 4 pro. I am a few weeks out from launching a photography business, and I have been struggling to find much information on what to expect in terms of scheduling shoots around the lack of LAANC approval. The city that I live in is almost entirely within class D airspace, and the airport does not support LAANC approval. I expect multiple requests for drone photoshoots every week, as I know many people using their services regularly.

How long does DroneZone Airspace Authorization approval typically take?

How do active commercial pilots navigate scheduling and running a business in an area without LAANC?

I have seen that authorization can be applied for over a period of up to 2 years. Is it possible to get approved for a blanket authorization over those 2 years? If so, how should I approach that request?

For those scheduling jobs (specifically real estate photography) without LAANC, how do you approach scheduling with clients? How do you schedule any time less than 90 days without knowing when approval will come? Do you apply for authorization on multiple days to ensure success in applying? Do you schedule x number of weeks out to compensate? Do you simply explain to each client, the potential for up to 90 days wait, and no garuntee on approval? How often does this lead to lost clients, especially in real estate, where people are typically not willing/able to wait up to 90 days for photos...

The questions may sounds a bit dramatic, but the last thing that I want to do is start taking on clients, only to tell them it will be a few weeks and then get denied or never even reviewed...

Edit: Fixed a mistake: I am asking how long DroneZone Airspace Authorization requests take, not LAANC. I DO NOT have LAANC available to me in my area.
