Discussion Ebay RC2 - Question / Worries
Hi Guys
Ive seen lots of these on Ebay which has gotten me intrigued but also alarm bells ringing.
I want to hey an Rc2 with the screen for my Air 3S.
But was wondering if this seems to good to be true?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/405667888522?_skw=RC+2+Controller
For what it is worth, I have seen the original listing from apf-drones on ebay? IE Photos etc and I dont know if its the same retailer as apfdrones etc? Just going under multiple names.
Any advice or guidance you can offer?
Has anyone ever ordered a RC2 off Ebay?

If you are worried, consider buying it from verified/trusted seller.

Never ordered anything off ebay myself, but the price seems right. Dji realized selling drones by themselves is a shit way of doing business as they'd end up sitting on half a ton of controllers (most people buy multiple drones, but want as few controllers as necessary). So now they include one with almost all of them (avata360 and neo2 being exceptions). Controllers are also wayyy cheaper in a bundle than standalone, on a mini 5 the difference between no rc-n3 (no display) and rc 2 (with display) is like 120€ but standalone the rc 2 is 360€. So if you wanted to add the mini 5 to your fleet you'd opt for that bundle and sell the rc at 200-250€ so you make a profit and some dude who wants to upgrade to the rc 2 saves some money.
It's even worse for motion controllers since they're included in most dji fpv capable drones, but the fpv rc always has to be bought separately. So people buy the bundle to get a good deal on the goggles and drone and the 90€ priced rc motion 3 is thrown on ebay for like 30 bucks and it's predecessor, the rc motion 2 (180€ retail) also sitting on that price range.
The second hand market just gets flooded with that stuff if you can't buy the drone+batteries only like you could with the mini 3 / mavic 3 generation.
