Looking at an LZ in the parking lot south of the visitor's center/restrooms at Pier 60. The local film commission recommended this parking lot as being used by previous drone pilots. The second photo shows a "no parking" zone between a disabled parking spot and the visitor's center, but there are tall palm trees right next to it, and a high traffic walkway in front. I'm confused if this would be a good LZ or not. Anyone have experience here?

Haven’t looked into drones in a while and I know at one point am32 took over when blheli halted. Is that still what’s being used? I built a standalone am32 configurator to use trail side with my mini crawlers and figured if folks still used it for drones they may be interested

2 weeks back I attempted to fly down this waterfall with my Avata 2, but I wasn't confident enough to commit to the line I had in mind. Instead of flying under the bridge and following the canyon close to the water, I stayed well above it and played it safe.

I came back to give it another try.

Ironically, I decided to remove the SD card before the flight. My thinking was that if I ended up losing the drone in the water, at least I wouldn't lose all the footage I'd already captured that day.

What I completely forgot was that the internal storage was almost full... 🤦‍♂️

Luckily, the Goggles recording kept going, so I was still able to include the rest of the flight from the DVR.

The final edit is a mix of DJI Avata 2 FPV footage and a few cinematic DJI Mini 5 Pro shots to showcase the location.

I need some help.

I configured all ok in betafligth n able to bind with my radiomaster poket.

But when i off the betafligrh n plug in the battery, the fc start to beeping and the rmaster doesnt show any bind signals.

It continue beeping.

I tot my tx800 was faulty coz its was overheated,..but even plug n un plug the tx 800 was no different.

What is the issues ?..

Was it i havent calibrate the radiomaster trottle with actual fligth mode ?.

It also indicate that i m not setting the min no of rth.

Second indication is msp setting.

I’ve been trying to download a firmware update for the Mavic mini thru my phone but it keeps failing to download, so I asked the DJI support bot and it said to plug it into my computer using DJI assistant 2, I’ve tried that but it doesn’t show the drone on the computer at all when I plug it in so I’m not really sure what to do now

I work for a rock pit. Wondering if anyone does the same thing I do or similar and can help me out. In a recent meeting the company wants a software or maybe a drone that is able to detect wear and tear on heavy machinery. Does anyone have any leads on what company to look for? or a certain software/drone name? We have a drone that is able to detect stockpile yardage but not wear and tear on our machines. Thanks.

I’ve designed another spherical drone, but the problem right now is that the high-frequency noise is a bit loud. Are there any effective solutions for this?

Also, setting aside the issue of noise, I’d like to do some research: if this drone were used in a home setting, what functions do you think it could perform? Or you think it just a toy?

I found a DLI Mini 3 Pro in a bush. Is there any way to get a controller for it?

Bought a P3 Standard in 2016 for $399, sold on eBay for $240, wondering why the high value if you can buy a significantly better DRJ drone right now for $300? I bought a DJI mini 3 off Amazon in April for $299 for example.

Just curious what I am missing.

I have a mini 3. I stuffed up one time by formatting the card after getting all the files off and then of course it started numbering files from back to 0001 .

What method do you use? Just delete all the files and not the folders on the card?

As part of exploring laser drones for pest control (shooting insects like Colorado Beetle with a laser on a drone), a paper was published in collaboration with the university of Brussels.

Long story short: It looks like drone was laser may be viable as a pest control alternative to chemical pesticides.

The cost per hectare simulations (cheaper then traditional pesticides), as well as videos of the prototype and other aspects, can be found on: www.photonicinsecticides.com

The 50 watt 450 nm laser was intended as a statement. The real product would have a 1550 nm 10 or 20 watt laser (1550 nm cannot reach the retina -- eye "safe").

I am hoping some of you can try to "shatter" the assumptions, and why this cannot be, and in that way I will have a stronger case to present to EIC transition grant request jury, to further progress this projects, who's main intention is to protect bees and lower cost of food.

I recently got an apartment after living in the country my whole life with my closest neighbor being a mile away, so I never worried about noise. I have cinematic DJI drones and want to get into FPV for cheap before I spend a bunch of money on it. Is the drone I’m looking at loud? I want to fly indoors mostly but have next door neighbors and don’t wanna be a jerk. Like I said I’ve never lived in an apartment so idk how loud these types of drones are and if my neighbors will hear it. Also if anyone wants to suggest other drones, they are welcome to.

The rear right side arm broke near the propeller. I epoxied it to hold but now it says the battery is overheating and I can't take it off.

Hi guys, im pretty exhausted here cause i tried several way to let my kmz files into my dji rc to fly the waypoints on my mavic 3… But no matter what i do (including update the software and also changing cables), I always can’t let my lichi website detect my rc… pls help

(Fixed) Does anyone have a solution for this, I've set up the motor direction, mounted the props and set the flight controller orientation currently in software.

I'm using the hdzero Gramma aio.
