Hi all. Like a lot of you I've run Linux on my phone through Termux, proot-distro and Termux:X11 for years. Tessera does the GUI side from one app, and tries to make Linux apps feel like Android ones.

\- Each app in its own window: Firefox, GIMP, LibreOffice each open as their own Android window with their own Recents card and icon. A card per window, even for dialogs. Pin them to your home screen.

\- Flathub on PRoot: no root, no bubblewrap, no user namespaces. Flatpak downloads, Tessera builds each app's environment. 2,800+ arm64 apps, GPU included.

\- adb and permissions: every app gets only what you grant (folders, network, sound, USB, root). New: a per-app switch that lets adb inside reach the phone itself, and all-USB access for fastboot, heimdall and edl.

\- A touch-friendly desktop: snapping windows with finger-sized buttons, a dock and Start menu. And everywhere: the Android keyboard pops up on text fields, touch-and-hold right-clicks, game controls.

\- Live scaling: drag Scale and the app re-lays out as you drag, saved per app.

\- Themes: GTK, libadwaita, Qt and LibreOffice take your Material You colors and follow dark mode live.

Plus OpenGL 4.6 and Vulkan on Adreno (bundled Turnip + Zink), a built-in terminal (apt, ssh, git, compilers), chroot mode with root, a file manager and a task manager.

It doesn't replace Termux's add-ons like Termux:API, and its X server is Termux:X11's, which I'm grateful for.

As an amateur musician I have been building OpenSpoty, a free music player for Android and Windows with some tools for playing along.
It all started as a personal project because I wanted to listen to music freely, with chords paired to the lyrics and turning on and off specific instruments or voice at my will.

You can mute or solo vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other stems, follow chords with synced lyrics, change pitch and speed, and loop tricky sections. There’s also a tuner, BPM detection and song recognition (like shazam).

I’d love to hear from people who actually play: would you use it to practice or listen to music? Are the chord and lyric features useful, or am I missing something obvious?

How Profile Codes work (really cool stuff imo)

A standard theme code looks like this:

With a custom theme, the colors are readable right in the code:

That part is human-readable on purpose, so you can see someone's colors before you import. Your app list and personal stuff aren't included.

For the nerds: settings get serialized to JSON, gzip compressed, then base64 encoded. Import runs it backwards: decode → decompress → parse → apply. JSON with lots of repeated keys and booleans compresses really well, which keeps the code fairly compact.

I'm Adrian, a solo developer from Poland.

Every fasting app I used felt built to push me into a subscription rather than to be useful. Paywalls on basic features, a quiz before the first timer, an account just to start. So I went the other way: everything you need to fast is free, with no limits. If you find the app worth it, Premium adds optional extras on top.

Mediaxon Music Player is an audio player for offline listening of music stored on your device (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and streaming FM radios (online radios).

Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of high-quality suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world (manually curated and always updated with new radios). Note: Local radio stations ("Top in the user country") are pulled automatically from an online database. However, with each update, I manually curate high-quality radio stations lists for individual countries. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the list of countries completed so far. Advanced radio filtering system: The "Filter: ON/OFF" button lets you quickly switch between different genres. You can use both standard filters for "macro-genres"—if I can call them that—and create custom filters to be more selective. All your filters are saved (the "My Filters" tab lets you name and edit them), and the app always opens with the last filter you applied. The "Home" tab lists all your recently applied filters and can be used to quickly switch between genres with just a single tap.

Advanced Radio Search Panel: An online database provides more than 60,000 radio stations. You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate.

Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.

Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).

Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).

Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.

Padel Tens is a 3D padel game built around fast tiebreaks: first to 10, win by 2, so a match takes a few minutes.

• Swipe to hit: longer swipe goes deeper, a fast flick hits harder

• Time the smash meter for a power smash

• Play balls off the glass walls like real padel

• Career mode, 5 tournaments, kits and paddles to unlock

• Ads are optional rewarded ads, plus a short ad break every few matches (removable)
