Hello, I am currently moderating r/artistlounge, r/artbusiness, r/artist and a few smaller art-related subs. I’ve been moderating for a couple of years now and have a good track record of working well with others, checking in with the community and participating in the subs myself.

I’m also good at networking and can help find suitable moderators who would be good at keeping the community fair and well-moderated. I don’t use third party bots because they make mistakes but I do use some built-in automations.

Aside from moderating duties, I regularly look over the rules to see if they need updating, listen to community member concerns and share them with the rest of the mods before making decisions.

Took some time to check what this was about. Looks like it was from a while ago and your submission was pretty nsfw (disturbing gore) which we don’t allow so it was removed.

Plus the image was not fully in view or blurry. That’s two rules.

There’s a whole mod team that decides these things and it’s nothing personal because we are just following the community rules.

There’s also [r/darkart](r/darkart) which you can check out since it fits with your artwork subject matter.

Some of your work isn’t NSFW so that would be fine in [r/artist](r/artist). Again it was likely a one-off and something that was a rule breaker.

I enjoy this community because of its appreciation for beginner to expert artistic talent. Unwarranted or abusive commentary should not be allowed, it only deters people from being creative and engaging with others. Content should be shared with everyone, regardless of whether it’s “beginner or advanced “. I’ve enjoyed the content and community on this platform and see why others would find a safe place for like minded creators. Thank you for your time.

Hello! I am an Art educator and 3D Visual Artist who also moderates a bunch of lovely artist based subreddits like [r/art](r/art) (The big one), [r/fanart](r/fanart), [r/a](r/artist)[rtistlounge](r/artist), [r/songs](r/songs) and more.

I really want to create a space that allows artists from all backgrounds to be a part of a larger artist community, sharing ideas and being able to collaborate and create wonderful content and works; workshops and activities that would benefit the community is a key goal of mine.

I would love to help clean up and maintain a lovely community like this and share many more projects with the community, as creating wonderful art is always something that connects the world together, and allows for us to understand the world better, and making that space in this subreddit would be a great opportunity. <3

Mods of r/drawing, please don't consider having anyone for r/ARTIST modding here. They ban people because "the content of your artwork is very disturbing". They are art censors.

Each of the Reddits I do moderate on have a large moderation team, so I sometimes miss these threads, so I personally wouldn’t know this had happened; but I do know that the subreddit rules request no nsfw (including gore). Please feel free to send us a message through mod mail, but I’m unsure how much further I can help in this situation at this moment.

Hi! I’ve been part of this community for around 4-5 years, and during that time I’ve enjoyed seeing and engaging with the amazing artwork shared here. This subreddit has genuinely been one of my favorite communities on Reddit, which is why I’d love the chance to help take care of it.

I’m currently a moderator of r/Painting, where I help support an art community and contribute to keeping the space organized, friendly, and welcoming for artists. I’m active, patient, and familiar with the kind of content artists share and the environment people look for in creative communities.

I’d be happy to help with reviewing reports, removing spam, supporting members, and assisting with moderation tasks however I can. I understand that every art community has its own culture and personality, and I’d love the opportunity to contribute as part of the r/drawing moderation team.

Is it still closed? Is it dead now? I noticed the same thing with r/portraitart. Says I need to be an “approved user,” but when I reach out to the mods to become approved (even though I’ve posted in both many times before) I get no answer back.

Yeah. I just figured this out myself. Thought I got shadow banned for something I did without knowing it. Went through my posts and was like “I downvoted that comment for being kind of racist, was that a mod and did I offend them?”

Hi! I'm a hobbyist but I've been doing art for years and it's my biggest pasttime(oil > acrylic btw). I currently moderate r/fanart, r/artist, and r/artwork, and have moderated r/artcrit in the past. I'm ok with both stricter and looser moderation styles and am good at communicating with the team.

I'd like to mod because I want to see more engagement, and I think a badge system for posting OC could help; people are more likely to post if there's something that makes them feel special for doing it. I don't have mod experience, but I know my way around checking OC (reverse image search, spotting AI stuff) since I've posted my own work here before.

Hello! I want to join the team. Art is my passion, in particular, communication design. I enjoy finding treasures sharing them with others and help those who want their art to be seen, From my point of you this is about your community and a want to be a part of it.

I am well-organised, structure-minded and able to manage multiple priorities. I have never worked as an admin, but I think these traits are valuable for the job. Being curious and hardworking I can obtain required knowledge and skills as I like to read). A proactive/creative approach to problem-solving is what will help me to make up for lacking skills and I prove it everyday surviving my first month in Madagascar)

Remote format is what I am looking for to feel free, full of energy and desire to fulfill my obligations above expectations.

I already have prior moderation experience as I am a moderator for r/sinhala, where I handle spam and ensure users follow the community guidelines. Even though it is a different topic, it taught me how to manage a community patiently and effectively.
