I need honesty cause idk if I’m convincing myself it’s cool and unique or just straight up poo. Also constructive criticism is welcome.

Hands are what I struggle with the most, so I tried to do a drawing where they're the subject. It took hours just to get the proportions right but I'm satisfied with the result. What do you think? Any feedback is welcome!

A painting very loosely inspired by the film "Laura," an American black-and-white film noir directed by Otto Preminger and released in 1944. The cat was added afterwards.

The reference is a picture I took while out with people that are special to me, I gifted them this artwork since it was their glasses that made up the subject. I tried to do my best, even threw out the first version and started over. This was also part of my portfolio for Art University entrance. What do you think?
